The first room I was assigned had not been cleaned at all from the previous users. Un-made bed and trash and towels on the floor. The second room didn't have toilet paper. They have no housekeeping services so I had to leave the building and go to another building to get toilet paper (in the rain). The next day I came back to find there was only one […] towel left for me and the housekeeper left no shampoo or other toiletries. I simply checked out of the hotel. This hotel could be great but the owners really don't care because the oil companies provide an endless supply of sleepy people. Book elsewhere if you can. Read more

Hotel is going thru renovations and its a mess. Outside, be careful not to puncture your tires with the nails and debris all over the parking area. No elevator so if you are on second floor get ready to tow all your luggage a half mile.

This hotel wasn't the ritz, but it was clean and the staff was very helpful. If I needed to go back to the area I would have no problem staying here again.

I had been working all day and forgot to make my reservations for my hotel... Well at the last minute I went to Hotels.com on my Droid Super monster Smart phone.. typed in the location I had to be... went to their parking lot booked it at Hotels.com ands BAM... This hotel is the best option for the price in this area. However - it does not have an elevator and the fact one has to carry their own luggage up the steps is a drawback.

love the hotel and staff, but we have stayed there five times in the past two years and the pool has never had water in it. It would be so ice to get back from a nice day of fisihing and be able to relax in the swimming pool

Desk staff was not the politest, and not very helpful at all. There is no laundry facility. Vending and breakfast are minimal, although good coffee. The "seasonal pool" is and has been out of commission for over a year according to the receptionist. The fact is that pool is sinking into the ground and scheduled to be filled with cement, and a new laundry […] facility is being promised, so look forward to construction issues coming soon too. There were also hairs on my shower walls. Upside, there is a bar on premise if that's your fancy and it is well stocked. Otherwise, I suggest the Best Western down the street. Read more

The hotel was pretty basic -- no fitness room and no pay-per-view movies -- but not bad at all for the price. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and overall everything was in good shape. In the area where fishing camps are quite nice, the Days Inn is a clean comfortable place to stay. This area serves the Port Fourchon, so it is full and people who are mostly down there to work. So, it is not necessarily a resort, but it is a great place to lay your head in comfort.
