Nice place for the location and price. Friday night stay was quite noisy with young people drinking and being loud. May be very different and quiet on weekdays. That was my only negative comment. Everything else was what I expected.

First, the entrance to the hotel room door appeared that it hadn't been washed, there was crud built up a the doorknob. When you open the hotel room door, the smell was damp and bleachy, so at least you know there was an attempt to prepare for arrivals. The bathroom had no ventelation. There was only one hand towel provided for the bathroom sink and the bathtowels and sheets were nearly see through. The tile floors were clean and the wi fi worked. Nice little place very close to the beach, bars and shops. Units have kitchenettes, so it's very convenient for bringing your own food and saving a little $ during your stay. Each unit has its own entrance with porch seating, great for morning coffee or breakfast. No frills seaside place. Nice and comfortable.

What an awesome place. Went for a weekend of relaxation and could not have picked a better place. Short walk to the beach, quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting out on the porch or sun deck for some reading time. If going to Ft Myers beach, this is the place.

Was a family owned hotel and they were all very nice. The hotel was walking distance to the beach and public transportation that you can get a lee train bus pass for 3.50 and go all over ft myers. It was an excellent stay and I definetelt would stay there again!

If the owners took as much pride and interest in their real estate as they do in their wonderfully restored and maintained vintage station wagons this place would be amazing. The decks, walkways and stairs are eclectic in their layout but many of the boards and railings are so decayed as to cause one to watch where he or she steps. The porch roof […] which at one time covered one walkway had been torn loose and flipped up onto the roof (high wind?) where it still resides as a potential safety hazard? We were brought clean towels and the trash was emptied on the 1st and 3rd days. On the last day we discovered the cause of the smell in the room, the sink drain was not properly connected to the drain pipe which allowed waste water to soak into the carpet. The air conditioner was weak and noisy. We were able to wedge plastic cutlery between the window unit and the wall through which it was installed to eliminate the jingling buzz noise. Only one of the 3 chase lounges still had the notches which allows the back portion to be elevated to differing positions, the other 2 would only lay flat. Much of the deck furniture was cosmetically challenged. FWIW we stayed in their smallest room, the others may be much nicer. Read more

It was close to the beach and they offered to let you borrow beach towels and seats. There were dark hairs on all of the pillows and their cases. My husband and I stayed here one night before going on the Key West ferry in the morning. Had I known how truly awesome it was I would have wanted more time! This place oozes Florida kitsch and we had to get some pictures before we lost the light. We arrived around 8:00 and Rick greeted us by name. He showed us our where our personal parking spot was […] (which is great in a beach town where parking is a premium) and asked if we had dinner. We hadn't, so he stood outside and gave directions to a few local recommendations. We chatted with a friendly guest from Sweden, who was enjoying the twilight from one of the many decks. Reminded me of European B&B or hostel. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again, and request a second floor room. The bedroom is probably ok. Air conditions are noisy, kitchen and kitchenware is quite poor. The badroom needs maintenance. One positive thing about This Motel is location.
