    This visitor center is located off U.S. Highway 89 near Mt. Carmel, Utah. It features exhibits, rangers (who provide trail information, issue permits, answer questions, and give talks), a gift shop, and is the place to catch the park’s shuttle bus or to meet for park-organized hikes and tours. The Zion Canyon Visitor Center is open daily, with extended hours in the summer.

    The property is old and barely maintained. One member of our party had a mild asthma attack apparently due to a prior guest's pet and the room not being thoroughly cleaned. We found animal hair on our belongings after laying them on the furniture.

    I was upset that they had every news channel but Fox News Channel. I suspect it was deliberate and it made me feel uncomfortable. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone because of that....period! It was not included on purpose....there is no other explanation.

    Very nice staff, the room was OK but we had to unplug the TV since the logo on it projected a lot of light. The room smelled a bit funny. Breakfast was pretty horrible (stale donuts for example). They had a laundry room, which was convenient.

    I was surprised we had 2 rooms, one with a King bed, and the other with two queens. In the King room, they had also placed a comfortable sofa. Additionally, with the two rooms, came two bathrooms. That was great when trying to get out the next morning. The hotel was not the most modern but it was well maintained and clean
