"Good - not great"
A Relais & Chateau should be special. Knowing it was our anniversary they kindly surprised us with a small plate of sweets and a bottle of...water! Waited forever in the bar for service and water from the shower leaked under the rug into our bedroom.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Anniversary getaway"
We just returned from our visit to Quebec and everything was lovely including the Auberge St. - Antoine. We arrived early and were pleasantly greeted and our room was ready for us. We had a comfort Queen which was lovely - nice sitting area, windows that open to a nice courtyard and all the amenities were thought out including coffee, toiletries and […] bottled water. The concierge was very helpful in selecting restaurants and activities and the restaurant is first class. The location is perfect for touring Quebec and I would stay again in a heartbeat! "An elegant stay in the heart of Ville Quebec"
Our stay at Auberge St-Antoine was lovely. The room was clean and well appointed, the staff friendly and helpful. Their tradition of hosting a cocktail hour every Wednesday made our stay feel even more welcome; Mrs. Price, whose family owns the hotel, chatted with us and shared her love of Quebec!Genuine Expedia guest review

"A Wonderful Trip to Quebec"
If I could give this hotel a 10, I would. It is ultra modern: high tech lighting; rain head shower; All soothing tones of brown and gray. The bed was very comfortable and with great pillows. "The Best Hotel in Canada"
Phenomenal experience, truly a world-class hotel. Several people in Montreal and Quebec City referred to the Auberge Saint-Antoine as The Best Hotel in all of Canada, and I would be lying if I disagreed with that assessment. Superior in every way, from exquisite comfort to impeccably trained staff, about as perfect a hotel experience (and I've stayed […] in many hundreds of hotels worldwide) as I can remember anywhere, not "just" Canada (where there are many outstanding hotels). "I am surprised it is not a 5-star hotel..."
Nothing but good words for St. Antoine... I would say it is on the higher end of 4-star, or even 5-star. The hotel has a lively character that makes your stay memorable...Genuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent hotel, service, and location"
The Auberge St-Antoine offeres an excellent value in a great location from which it is easy to walk all of the Quebec Old City (and beyond). The staff is very friendly and helpful. First-class in every way.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staying at this hotel is quite a different feeling in the sense that the appearance of the hotel is different that most since there is a concerted measure to pay heed to the fact that the site was archeologically studied. However, it immerses you in the past of Quebec and it is fascinating to walk throughout the hotel looking at archeological finds […] which are displayed throughout the hotel, Service was top-notch, concierge, bell hops and front desk. Good fitness center, had a massage($95 for 60 mins.) Hotel is pricey - $30 + tax was daily parking rate, but it was centrally located in the lower part of town and close to the furniculare to upper town. One aesthetic drawback is that the hotel is across from a huge ferry terminal open air parking lot. But access to the path along the expansive St. Lawrence seaway was a big plus. Be aware that there is 14% tax on everything including meals when in Quebec province. Most meals for 2, with a drink or 2 and maybe dessert can easily top $100.Be aware that if you charge your meal, the waitstaff will bring out a handheld device for this and hand it to you to insert what % tip you would like to leave. Remember to tip on the cost of your meal - 14% tax. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Deluxe getaway to explore Quebec City history"
Elegantly appointed and with the extra distinction of incorporating many 18th historical artifacts found during excavation and construction. The presentation of these bits and pieces of the former life of the city chime in beautifully with the surrounding Old City area. The hotel is in a fabulous location for exploring the Old City, the Citadel, and […] St Roche all on foot. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Comfort at its finest!"
I recently stayed at this incredible hotel. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is really comfortable and thoughtfully designed. "Auberge St-Antoine - perfect!"
The Auberge St-Antoine was just exquisite! Our room was gorgeous with beautiful detailing and luxurious bedding. The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful in every way. "Auberge St-Antoine in Quebec - cruise convenience"
You can't get more conveniently located to the cruise port. It is right across the street. It is also walking distane from nearly everything in Old Quebec. Service is 5 star, as is the wonderful restaurant Panache.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Luxury Hotel with friendly and welcoming staff"
We really enjoyed staying at the Auberge. We were very pleased with our room. The decor was exceptional and the room was clearly very well maintained. Our bed was so comfortable we were able to sleep well every night. This is a major plus for us as we usually find hotel beds uncomfortable and not good for the back. The bathroom was so beautiful and […] nice to use. They had heated tiles on the floor which added to that feeling of luxury. The shower was very modern and minimalistic. A member of staff comes to your room while you are out at dinner who then turns down your bed covers and leaves a small card with the next days weather forecast. They also make a few other touches to the room so that it feels very cosy on your return ie. soft lighting with classical or other relaxing music playing. On our first evening we found a card inviting us to a cocktail hour in the hotel lounge. The staff were very friendly and sociable with all the Hotel guests. The hotel is very well situated in the Old Quebec City. Restaurants , cafes museums are all within walking distance of this Hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We were looking for a hotel with character located in Old Quebec City and this was a jewel!! From time time we checked it on Wed night an invited to a coctail party hosted by the owner, to the close proximity to all that Old Quebec City has to offer. The onsite restaurant - Panache has beautiful ambiance, fantastic food and great service. It was very […] interesting to see the numerous displayed artifacts within the hotel that were unconvered during the construction of the inn. We can't wait to go back!! beautiful modern design to hotel and rooms. wonderful neighborhood, slightly removed from the overly touristy parts of old Quebec City. room was a little small, but certainly adequate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed one night in mid-August. To our surprise, offered to check us in early, which was great. We had a "Comfort Room" with queen bed. Good-sized room with separate dressing area, including built-in ironing board. Very nice bathroom with separate toilet stall. Excellent lighting throughout room, with dimmers on all switches. Throughout hotel and in […] room, artifacts from prior buildings on the site. Very interesting book, in French, with more detail, in every room. Restaurant, Panache, is excellent. Be sure to make a reservation when you book your room, as it is very popular with non-guests also. Breakfast, of very special Eggs Benedict, was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Absolutely stunning hotel, luxurious, perfectly situated. The description makes it sound like the rooms have old world charm. They are modern and lovely but not old world. The restaurant is in a gorgeous stone building with wood beams - the old world part. Expensive but worth it.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Best room service within memory"
Room service is prepared by the hotel's great restaurant, Panache. My girlfriend couldn't remember ever having a better steak, and our desserts (mine was a Valrhona chocolate creme brulee) were incredible! The bathtub fit two of us, laying down up to our necks, comfortably; the bathroom floors were heated. All the room's appointments were perfect, […] from the bed, to the size of the room, to the usual little amenities like an espresso machine, safe, ironing board and iron, and so on. I can't think of a thing with which we were dissatisfied, or that I would want improved. Kudos! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Auberge St. Antoine in Quebec City"
Just stayed there 2 days in one of the suites (The Gustav Suite to be exact), and it was phenomenal! The design and layout of the hotel felt more like a art museum/ fine hotel than just an ordinary hotel. The decor and thought put behind each part of the hotel made on a special experience. The owners host a cocktail hour on Wednesday evenings for 1 […] hour to welcome the guests, with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served while the owners mingle. Very nice people! Also the hotel in very centrally located next to a Museum, and close by the funicular which will take you up to the walled on old town Quebec, and Chateau Frontenac. 1- The central heating shut off when you leave the room, unacceptable in winter and into a Relais Chateaux 2- Rooms are poorly furnished 3- Prepaid flat price breakfast (20 Dlrs per person) : Only A La Carte expensive choices and finally you pay a lot of extras if you want to get a decent breakfast. Confused explanation from the staff.Genuine Expedia guest review

It was a quick getaway for my wife and I from the city. although it took us an extra hour to get to the actual hotel ( the navigation seemed to route us to a different location) it was worth it. "Auberge St-Antoine is Luxury"
Great hotel in a great city. Everything was wonderful during our 3 day stay. The room was fantastic with an upscale bathroom including heated floors. We loved the espresso machine in the room. The staff was always friendly. We'll definitely come back again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was pleased over-all. we changed rooms from a river view to a city view. (River view includes busy road). Might be a few too many lighting options in the room, and a few too many historical / archeological decorations throughout. True about the huge bathtub, did myself in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved the hotel; a great place in the winter"
We chose this hotel because of its ratings. It was affordable for us because it was off season. The room was very comfortable and unique, not one of those cookie cutter types. The hotel is in the perfect spot for exploring the city. It is a very short walk to the furnicular and upper town. Even though it was winter when we went, the city was active. […] The hotel met our expectations and the staff was very attentive and helpful. They provided recommendations for other restaraunts. The cocktail hour on Wednsday evening thrown by the owners is not to be missed. The restraunt at the hotel, Panache is exceptional though pricey. It is also not to be missed. Breakfasts there were very good too. Reservations were not a problem for this time of year and the ambiance was great. We visited the ice hotel which we could not have done another time of year. The hotel provided us with our car quickly and easily whenever we requested it. Parking is extra as it is in most of the city but this hotel has an underground garage right there. We definitely would go back to this hotel and have already recommended this to our friends. We used taxis to get around town when dinner was at a distance and these were reasonable and easily obtained. I am looking forward to going back again, probably in the wintertime.
