So nice to have the shuttle drop off and pick up before and after the Rebel game. The driver was friendly and accommodating. For a 2 star, the room was very nice and the breakfast was more than expected. Room rates were quite high, but comparable to other hotels during football season. Hotty Toddy!

Okay, I had to go to Oxford as my daughter is a student there and had to have surgery. The Hampton Inn was our post-op recovery place for 2days..The staff was so accommodating on all levels. We could not have picked a better place for comfort and accessiblity! My only complaint is that the washing machine kept eating my quarters but the front desk always […] reimbursed..they need a new washer..I had many loads to do for my student! Read more

they were soo accomidating! my daughter just had surgery and there was no way she could return to the dorm...I had to do all her laundrey and stay for three days befor her to return to the dorm....the only thing lacking was a washer that worked!! but the staff provided me with many quarters!

This was an excellent hotel. The only weird thing was that one of the queen beds was really close to the wall. But other than that, the bathroom was lovely. The room was great. This hotel deserves a higher rating than two stars. It was updated, fresh, clean and very comfortable. We had a non-smoking room that smelled clean. I have stayed in several non-smoking rooms in the past that smelled like smoke, but this one did not. I plan on staying at this Hampton on future trips to Oxford, MS. Thank you

This hotel had one of the friendliest desk staffs I have ever encountered. All was in readiness when we arrived. The stuffed lions in glass cages in the lobby was eclectic and fascinating! Comfortable and spacious room. It is located on the main drag where all the restaurants are located and near the University.

Hampton Inn in Oxford MS was clean and conveniently located to the University of Mississippi. The staff were friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was very good with a great variety. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

We found this Hampton location to be very clean and nicely appoited. Great breakfast for the money The three lions in the lobby (stuffed and in large cases) were a surprise but very interesting! Didn't expect to see that in Oxford Miss.

Hotel check-in was prompt. The room was a nice size, clean with a nice size flat screen. The breakfast was pretty good too. I only spent about 6 hours there, so I didn't get a chance to see the amenities. Oh, and its located close to restaurants and stores, but still in a quiet/safe area with not a lot of traffic.

It was more than I expected. The lobby area is very clean and roomy. There are stuffed lions in glass cases. This didn't bother me since I grew up with a father that hunted. Check in was a breeze. Tonya had a great smile and was very helpful. When we go to the room, they hadn't put the roll-away bed in, so we called for it. They were there within 5 […] minutes with it. Our son's friend that slept on it raved at how comfortable it was. The room was very spacious. We had a king bed and it's the best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel. My husband and I wanted to take the bed and linens home with us. He even pulled the sheets off so he could see what kind of mattress it was. It's also the first time I've liked the comforter on the bed in a hotel. It felt luxurious. Also, the free breakfast was fantastic... cheese omelets, fresh made waffles, warm canadian bacon, juices, coffee and all the other fan fair you expect from a free breakfast at usual hotels. The woman that was working on the breakfast was bright and cheery and welcoming. As we were leaving, there were 3 housekeepers on our floor. Each one greeted us with a smile and a hello. The only negative to this trip was that I was really looking forward to getting in the hot tub after a six hour drive and it wasn't working. However, the indoor pool area was clean with fresh towels and an outdoor sitting area. There was minimal seating in the pool area. The small workout room also had fresh towels and a water fountain. Last thing was... there were free fresh baked cookies at the front desk and fresh coffee in the lobby area at least until 10pm. LOVED this hotel! If we visit the Oxford area again, this will be my hotel of choice, no doubt. Read more
