The motel was not kept up, breakfast was hardly anything, therefore, we ate in a restaurant. They are not keeping up the motel very well. It isn't that old as I used to live in Prescott Valley. The pillows were terrible. A big difference from the Super 8 we stayed in Show Low, Az. I won't stay there again.

The evening staff at check in were fantastic. That was the highlight of the stay. The hotel smelled old and smokey. To prevent the buildup of smoke smell in our room the window had been left open. The mattress and springs coming out the side and it hurt to sit on the edge. For an alleged non smoking there were several burn marks on the tub and floor. […] The towel racks were falling off at the sink and the hotel is hard to get into from the road. I stay in hotels a few times a month many of which are Super 8. I do not feel I recieved what I paid for. The hotel is off the highway, close to stores and restaurants. The bed is clean, carpet is old and needs cleaned, towels are not very soft and the tv is dated and lower than the bed. But for the price it is do-able. Light continental breakfast and staff is nice but slow.

You really don't expect much of a Super 8.... dry, warm, and clean are all one really expects. And the Super 8 PV didn't disappoint. Can't complain at all, ratings are our opinion where the S8PV rates in the universe of hotels... so it can be said it is a "fine and dandy" little hotel.

Yuck, totally overpriced. Hotel was right on a very busy road and I do mean right on it. The pool was closed, but given that it was also 10 feet from the road with no privacy fence did not really want to swim out there anyway. Room was clean, pillows were old and worn out. I rented the room for three nights but left after two......... I was in Prescott, AZ for a conservation meeting and had several hundred pounds of equipment so requested a ground floor and showed on a Thursday with a empty parking lot.........however, that did not happen even with some protest, so I had to lug equipment up and down stairs every morning […] and evening. 1) Hotel had a strong cigarette smell through-out 2) Room was very dated and the floor and sheets were stained, but did smell clean even with the sub-standard appearance. 3) The window in my room would not lock and was completely cracked in two places with a small hole completely to the outside in the corner ...... I told the receptionist and she responded "it was on the list to be repaired"! I stayed two days and the room was simple but clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. This is a no frills hotel - towels are not the soft fluffy kind, you get shampoo and soap, but no hand cream, shower cap, etc- so bring your own if you need these things. Bed was nice. Some pastries and bagels for breakfast, with jelly (no cream cheese […] or PB), and coffee -again basics. If you want protein with your breakfast, you'll probably have to look elsewhere. However, the price was good for Prescott and the location is off of 69 -near grocery store, fast food, gas, etc. so pretty convenient for going out and getting what you need. At check in was told the pool was out of service, had been for a few days. was told I could cancel my reservation and stay elsewhere. Elswhere was sold out, my room was booked, paid in full two weeks prior. was told could only get a refund through hotels.com. First we noticed in the room no trash bags in the cans. Then noticed there was vomit on one […] of the bedside lamp shades. Horrible smell in the room, went to open the window to air out, could not, the screen was torn. Rinsing a cloth in the sink, it got caught on the drain plug. Drain plug came out of the sink and was COATED in hair and mold! Last night of my stay I had to leave the room and go downstairs, while I was downstairs, my daughters fell asleep, the door was locked. I explained to the lady at the desk, the door was locked with the key card in the room, Went downstairs three times and all times the card did not work! I asked to use a restroom while she fixed the key card. was told the only restrooms were in the rooms and I was out of luck. .The clerk came to the room and used the master key card, did not work! I started panicking, what if there was an emergency in the room. I was told "oh well, not too sure what to do I guess I will have to call my manager". The clerk left, made another key and came back with the maids key, still nothing! I told her to call the room and hopefully my girls will wake up. Maids were excellent and motel staff were kind and friendly. Carpet in my room was severely stained, old, and ratty and needed to be replaced. Vending machines out of order. Access to the motel is easy to overshoot if you're not looking.

Unfortunately, this hotel is old and has not been updated. Two lamps above bed didn't work - 1 was actually broken. The bathroom sink has a 2" hole in it. won't be staying here anymore.

I would not recommend this Super 8 to anyone based on the assistance and response I received from the staff. The air conditioner made a continuous noise every time the compressor cycled, the nexy morning I told the desk personnel, "the noise was louder than a washing machine but not as load as a jet engine."
