Chose hotel because it looked convenient to Incline Village, which it was. The service people were nice enough, the room was okay, but not great; though the rooms are technically non-smoking, smokers smoked right outside our door; the 'breakfast' was bad. Would be nice if the rooms had at least mini-refrigerators.

We came up to the Tahoe area to see the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare festival, so we wanted something close, convenient, and not too pricey. This hotel fit our needs nicely: just a few miles from Sand Harbor, where the festival takes place, comfortable, and a good price. No, this isn't the fanciest hotel in North Tahoe, but that's not what we wanted. The only real complaint we had was that the breakfast room always had Fox News on the TV.

It's a pretty standard motel room. No fridge or microwave but there is a small coffee maker. The part that always turns me off about these hotels is the cheap and questionably clean bedspreak--ours had some questionable looking stains. . .I try not to touch the blanket and bedspread at all--yuck. I should have taken my own duvet/sheets because I'm pretty certain these hotels rarely wash their bedspreads--I think for this alone it could be worth the price to pay more but I suppose I was hopeful there would be no yucky bedspreads. The location was very convenient.

Excellent location on Lake Tahoe's north side. Medium sized, comfortable room. We just stayed one night arriving around 11:00 pm. The only bad thing was the shower drain did not work. The lever was loose and so the tub filled with water while showering. If you can shower quickly and have a sense of humor, you'll be ok.

Considering this was an older motel style hotel it was pretty much what I expected. Just three comments: 1. There was a continuous rumbling noise through the night coming from outside the room that although not very loud was annoying.(-) 2. Being winter it was difficult to get up the steep driveway to reach the main road first thing in the morning before any plowing or salting of the parking lot.(-) 3. Having some covered parking available was a nice way to keep the snow off the car overnight. (+) 4. Indoor pool & Jacuzi was nice after skiing.(+)

The hotel met my expectations in most ways. The location was excellent for my needs. The room was cold when we got there and took a long time to warm up then got very hot during the night. The hot tub was only warm and overflowed with only two people in it. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was good. It was also very quiet which is a very important issue with me.

This hotel was a bit of a disappointment. It does have a number of good points, such as its outstanding location near good beaches and a small resort casino hotel. There are also a number of good restaurants within reasonable driving distance. However, the hotel itself was a disappointment. The staff was friendly, but the rooms lacked all but the most basic ammenities. The room itself, as well as the linens were clean and in repair, but the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were thin. From the budget bath linens to the miniature water saver shower head, I could not help but leave with the impression that the management was skimping everywhere possible. Also, the parking lot was small and would be difficult to navigate in anything larger than a midsized sedan. There also appeared to be a shortage of parking at times, although we did not have trouble finding a space when we parked. The rooms here provide basic shelter, but not much else. If that is all you are looking for, this may be your place, but overall, I could not recommend this hotel as a resort vacation spot.

out of value="10"We appreciate Matt M. taking the time to comment on our property and are glad that he found our Inn to be in an outstanding location and that he found our staff to be friendly and our rooms to be clean and in repair. We are however disappointed that he found our linens and shower head unacceptable. It is interesting to note that 4 star hotel down the road from us uses the exact linens we do, as we share the same Linen company. As for the small shower head, our shower heads vary in size and while his was small, please note that he did not experience low water pressure or any specific problem with the shower head. Our parking facility is adequate for the number of units that we have, and it is ironic that Matt failed to note the 20 foot long U-Haul truck and trailer parked in our facility during his stay. We can assure everyone that parking is not limited and can easily accommodate vehicles of any size. Please note that we have never claimed to be a full service resort, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price and in the best town in Lake Tahoe, you won't be disappointed with our Facility.

Don't be tricked by the nice picture on the web, the rooms are very basic. Heater did not work fully (one of two heater panels worked). As a result, the room could not be fully warmed. An electrical outlet was not attached to wall (coming out) - made the place look run down. The shower did not adjust properly. Super hot or super cold. Had to play with shower setting for a while to get it right. The worst part is that the room smelled like they had just sprayed roach/insect spray. We did not notice the smell when we came in because the window was open (dead winter). With the window open, the room was freezing. It was not until the morning when we returned to the room from packing our car that we noticed the strong smell. One good thing is that the price was reasonable. But after this experience, we rather pay more next time for other places. We definitely will not stay here again.

out of value="10"We appreciate the comments made by Mr. Doug N. and would like to offer the following in response: All of our rooms are equipped with only one heating unit (panel) and upon inspection we found this unit to be in perfect working condition. We were unable to locate any loose electrical outlets. Our showers are all equipped with anti-scalding valves which control and maintain water temperature, according to our plumber the situation experienced by Mr. Doug N. could not be re-created. The natural knotty pine wood in this room had been recently treated with a sealer which will explain Mr. Doug N's comment regarding the smell of roach/insect spray. We can assure you that we do not have any type of insect problem at the Inn. While we appreciate Mr. Doug N.'s comments, we wish to assure everyone that while our rooms may not be luxurious, we do pride ourselves in offering a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced room with most amenities that you would expect to find in a comparable propert

We paid a good price for our hotel stay and therefore our expectations were not exceptional but we were disappointed that the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Because it was a 3 day holiday (school holiday), there were a lot of young citizens and they made their presence known throughout the evening and into the morning hours. I would recommend the hotel for anyone who likes to stay up and party or to young adults but for us folks with sore backs and with small kids, we need a good nite sleep so had to leave early and search for a more comfortable bed and quieter location.
