"visiting in Incline Village.."
We were visiting family that lives in Inline. It was perfect hotel for us... Starbucks right up the street and close to everything we wanted.. Staffing very nice and friendly...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the extra $$"
Paid quite a bit extra as the reviews for this hotel were better than everything else on the north end of the lake. I have never stayed in a hotel that was as noisy as this one. If you want to hear people talking five rooms down (in normal voices) or be shaken awake by people walking down the staircase then this is your place. I was exhausted after […] a four night stay here. Never again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for skiing"
This hotel worked well for us; it is really close to Diamond peak ski resort and had a decent complimentary breakfast so we could get going out on the slopes. They also have memory foam mattresses, a nice touch.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dont waste money"
Everytime another room flushed the toilet the pipes would vibrate, we heard people walking out in the hall and in the room above us well into the night. Not what I expected for the price poor choiceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"We live in 2013"
This place needs to be updated. The laminate floors were uneven and cold. The thermostat for the heater did not work or was not connected to heater. When using the bathroom the toilet was like using a toilet in a 70's motorhome, tight space and very close to the floor. The shower tub felt like it was going to fall through the floor at anytime not to […] mention the lack of water pressure if any other room was taking a shower at the same time. Maybe for the younger generation where comfort is not a priority but for baby boomers you need to upgrade this place or change the name. The Darkside at Incline Village! "Beautiful and Cozy at Tahoe"
The hotel was directly off the main road, which made it really easy to find. The staff was friendly and polite, and very efficient. The room was well decorated with pictures that evoked Tahoe's beauty. The laminate-wood floors made the room feel very clean, and the bathroom was impeccable. The bed was perfectly soft, which pleased us both since we have […] different preferences in bed firmness. The sheets felt luxurious as well. The room even had a balcony, which we would have used to relax if we weren't busy with the beach wedding not 10 minutes away. Definitely worth the stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quiet Comfortable getaway"
Most comfortable bed of any motel I've slept in. Very large quiet rooms. Our balcony over looked the country club grounds. A mile walk to the public beach or to the shopping district. Right across the street from Serra Nevada College, which has beautiful nature trails. Would have been better to have the sink outside of the bathroom. A microwave would […] be a nice addition to the in room refrigerator. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable hotel close to shops & restaurants"
My family and I enjoyed a comfortable weekend here. Beds had memory foam mattresses and rooms had been recently refurbished, with refrigerator, coffee maker and hair dryer.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed 2 nights. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stayGenuine Expedia guest review
First night I had a room with very poor bed. Thick foam was added but it does not cover up a worn out bed. Second night they gave me a room with good bed but the thick foam top made the bed very warm. I suppose if the room was cold then it would be great. The rooms should have wall controlled thermostat. I would return if the improvements were made […] . Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to family"
Room we stayed in on the first floor could use some renovations...The room on the second floor was much nicer and more modern...Overall we felt the price was right and would come back again but ask for a nicer room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rooms are very sparse and noise prone"
Not what it appeared to be on the website. Pic's do not fairly represent the rooms or the hotel. Beds are questionable and full of static electricity. Rooms were definately clean. Hotel staff were helpful. Would not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Stay @ Parkside Inn"
This hotel is a little on the Spartan side. But considering the cost, it is definitely a Consumer Report "best buy." The employees and the service were excellent. The bedroom and the bathroom were immaculate. The lighting was 1st class. The beds and mattress were very good; as was the shower. All in all it provided excellent accommodations for a very […] modest rate. I'll give them 5 stars. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to our destination"
Overall, we enjoyed staying at the Parkside Inn at Incline Village. We were there to visit family so the location was perfect for us. The staff and front desk were friendly and helpful, although we didn't have a great deal of contact with either. The breakfast provided was as described in other reviews - continental, but more than just rolls/donuts. […] Fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, coffee & tea were also provided along with some mini muffins, and toast. My only complaint was decaf coffee was not offered (even though it was provided in the room). It was just the right amount for us as we had plans for lunch and didn't need a large breakfast. Our room amenities mirrored other reviews here. We found the pergo floor a nice change from the usual carpet of other hotel rooms. The only thing that I was a little leery about was that the room lock was operated by a key instead of a magnetic strip keycard; the corridors are out in the open (no enclosed hallway). Would we consider staying here again - yes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent but pricey"
For $150/night I usually can get a nice hotel room that's fairly modern. For the price, this place is very old and outdated. It was however, clean and offered free breakfast that included coffee, juice, cereal, fruit (bananas and apples), bagels, toast, and muffins. I guess for the area, this is what you get for this price range.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel for the value"
Nice basic rooms for the price. Good value. Quiet.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and affordable."
We stayed here just for a quick overnight. The room was very clean with new wood floors. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were too big for me. Definitely bring your own if you have neck issues. The room heated up quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was very clean and had recently been redone. It had a cabin feel to it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was in the middle of all the places we wanted to go. Indoor pool was nice. The beds were soft, a little too soft for me but nice. The chairs inside and outside on the patio need replacing or some work done, two were broken, but usable. Nice size fridge in the room and room was great size. The shower needed fixing and told staff when we left. I […] would stay here again. Good price and nice set up. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nothing fancy, but good for a quiet night's rest"
Consider this as a place to sleep only. If you're looking for a vacation getaway, look elsewhere! The three staff members I encountered (check in, check out, and housekeeper) were very friendly and helpful. On the positive side, while this is an older property, it is generally well-maintained. They provide a minimal complimentary "continental breakfast" […] -- cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. And as non-smokers, we were pleased that the property is completely non-smoking. We didn't have very many negatives, but one particularly gross issue was a small, old blood stain on one of the pillowcase covers. If you don't mind staying at older properties with minimal amenities, this property is worth considering. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The hotel not worth the money"
The beds were very uncomfortable old and sagged in the middle. No air conditioning and the room was very hot and stuffy. The hotel was very old and never updated. For 375.00 for two nights not worth it. Spa and pool were in underground parking lot.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Okay hotel for skiers"
I pulled the credenza out to plug in my lap top and it was very, very dirty back there. I let the receptionist know prior to my room being cleaned for the day. I expected that it would be swept, but it was not. The walls are all a very dark brown. The lamp shade above the table was cracked. I won't plan to stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dated, but charming facility"
Was within minutes of downtown incline village and Lake Tahoe beach. Location was quiet and away from major traffic for restful sleep. Continental breakfast was adequate, though nothing special.Genuine Expedia guest review
the room was very noise .you can hear all the rooms around you using there shower and sinks.you can here the next rooms tv.you hear the cars in the garage under my room.Genuine Expedia guest review
The breakfast is ok. Amenities that includes sauna and pool but sauna was cold and did not feel like one. The pool was clean. There is no AC unit or fan in the room and thus it was uncomfortable because high humidity and temperature above 80F at nightGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location, but ...."
This is an OLD motel, and seems to have been somewhat upgraded. But the room was DARK, very little lighting - same for the bathroom. Few amenities, but clean. No clock in the room and the cable for TV was intermittent. Beds were too soft, but bedding was comfortable. The morning complimentary breakfast was all carbs - no eggs, just yogurt. I felt we […] paid for the location, not the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Neglected Internal Facility"
Exterior attractive enough. Inside, though, spongy floor with odd laminate, and--most significant to me--electrical outlets that should have been replaced years ago. The receptacles won't hold plugs, which fall out from the pull of gravity because there's no "pinch" left in the outlet. Shabby. Also, no clock in the room (and a "wake-up" request required […] that someone come knock on the door (!) and mediocre lighting. On the plus side, the location was convenient, the staff was pleasant enough, and the continental breakfast was fine. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice and comfortable."
Close to all the activity in Incline Village. The bed was very comfortable, the hard wood floors were clean, the drapery kept the room dark in the morning for good sleeping.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was a cute place. I requested a room on the ground floor. It seemed all the rooms on the ground floor were considered 2 bedrooms. Both the beds were double beds. The room was a little small. Had a friend who had a room on the second floor which was quite large with a king size bed. Included breakfast in a really cute dining room. The decor was very […] rustic. My room had a few things that needed to be repaired. One window wouldn't lock and one lamp couldn't be turned on because the switch was broken off. Next time I would stay in the larger room on the second floor. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved this hotel. It was nice and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. It has a mini fridge, coffee pot, hair dryer and iron w/ironing board. The only thing missing was a microwave. Other than that it was perfect! We will stay there again. Beautiful setting.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Third Year In A Row"
Once again, we found the Parkside Inn at Incline to be very clean and comfortable and we were pleased with the new flooring and sink counter-top. We will return again in 2014, if not sooner!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable alternative in Incline"
The Parkside Inn at Incline provides a quiet, clean, and affordable lodging alternative while in the Incline Village, Nevada, area. In town with my wife for a 3-day vacation, I found the Parkside Inn to be much as I expected, i.e., an older venue in need of some monetary infusion to upscale/update, yet one that is cared for with much TLC. Our room was […] on the rear of the building, which negated any ambient parking lot noise and most guest noise as well. The room's balcony overlooked the woods in which the Inn is located and which provide some natural blocking of the sun, which kept our room comfortable. It should be mentioned here that Parkside Inn rooms are not air conditioned; however, even though the area experienced some abnormally high temps during our stay, the room remained comfortable with a simple box fan (provided) and an open (screened) patio door. Unfortunately the door screen had a rather large hole it that we were forced to "plug" with a wash cloth for fear of flying insects disturbing our slumber. This is something that is easily (and inexpensively) taken care of. The bathroom was large and the hot water plentiful. We did find it odd that the countertop ran the length of the room yet it contained only one sink. There is a pool and sauna, but alas, the hot tub has been decommissioned. Breakfast is also included. Make sure to ask for a beach pass, and then be prepared to pay $12 per person to use the town beaches. The Inn staff was very professional. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice for the price"
I had a very comfortable stay at the Parkside Inn. I didn't get to walk around the property but it is very pretty nestled in the trees. I was solo but it would be a nice room for families or girlfriends because there is a wall between the 2 beds for some privacy. There was no A/C and it was record temps during the day but it was fine with th e fan in […] the room. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very Good Motel."
First time to Lake Tahoe. We were very pleased with the accommodations. However, the rooms do not have A/C. I'm sure that most of the time, this isn't a issue. Since there was a heat wave going on, the room was a little warm. The staff was very informative and helpful. They provided us a list of local restaurants, highlighting their personal recommendations. […] We chose the pizza place and weren't disappointed. The complementary breakfast had enough variety to suit most anyone. An additional note, I was impressed with the sense of pride that the staff took in this facility. On the particular day we were there, they were removing and cleaning all room window screens and hosing down the parking lot. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice motel at Incline Village NV"
There are not many hotel/motel choices @ Incline Village NV. The motel is rather "dark" inside but has plenty of lamps etc within the room. The bedding was clean and warm (it was a cool day @ Incline) and very quiet day and night. The little Breakfast room was a surprise. Although it is small, it is cozy with gas fireplace, a nice variety of "Continental […] Breakfast" offerings and all were fresh. Simple and adequate. The Staff was accommodating and pleasant. Beautiful location and near to the Hyatt for a lovely Cafe lunch and Casino for those "inclined". Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The bed was too old and uncomfortable. I felt like I slept in a hammock. Other than that, it was just fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pretty basic, probably better for a ski trip. Large room with plastic floor, windows open to porch and noise. Cheap.Genuine Expedia guest review
The Parkside Inn was perfect for our needs. The room was large and the balcony was a bonus. The location of the hotel is also ideal for many attractions around the lake. We will be staying here each time we visit Lake Tahoe. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations given by staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great motel -- will stay at again."
This was a fantastic value for a motel located in an elite resort community. When we visit Tahoe, we tend to spend most of our time outdoors and not inside in a room; all we need is an affordable and clean place to stay with a comfy bed - the Parkside delivered! Our room faced south and there were tall pine trees off the deck which kept the room in […] the shade all day. It was very quiet -- I guess that the motel was at about half occupancy. My fridge was a little noisy -- my mom stayed next door and her fridge was newer and very quiet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
