The only issue we had with this hotel is the front drive in entrance has a 7' clearance and we had a Penske 12' truck traveling with us which has a 9' clearance. I was pleasantly surprised by the modernized interior of our room. The bed was comfortable, there were accessible electrical outlets - that was a plus. Would have been more comfortable if there had been a bathtub. Linens were nice. The area was noisy with traffic, but we are used to that at home too. Being put next to a room that someone lives in and stays up all night with their TV turned up loud did not make for a great place to stay over for the night on our trip back to Washington. Also if its raining ask for a bottom floor because the way the roof and ceiling are done you hear every rain drop.

I was late check-in and it was raining. I still needed to check-in at ' drive-thru-like window without overhead cover. So when you check in during Rainly day, don't check late at night. In the morning breakfast is in small room with limited food and choice. Staff is not as friendly as what I expect...

The room we stayed in has recently been remodeled. It was super nice, and it was clean and fresh smelling. For the price, it fit into what I needed. It is in the midst of downtown Redding, and many eateries and bars were within walking distance. My girlfriend and I were visiting from out of town, and this place was a true gem.

Oh, this place is in a terrible location. It's bordered by four busy streets, the hospital is a block away and sirens and rescue helicopters are going all night, the train tracks keep trains blaring day and night, and the fire station is just behind thhe motel, meaning more sirens. The room was clean. The furniture seemed new. The switches on the A/C unit was hard to reach and read(I'm 5'6"). The shower was okay. It was an overnight stay just to sleep before driving to our destination and I only stayed since I didn't want to go through Grants Pass during winter in the middle of the night. Had this been summer and if I wasn't tired […] then I would've made the trip stopping only for fuel. The wall was very thin. At 2AM people checked into the room just above and I could hear every step including the shoes being tossed across the room. Breakfast stopped at 9AM which I thought was a little early. Yeah, meh... The stuff in this hotel are unfriendly. They don't care about you they only care about the money. We drove in from very far we're very exhausted when we arrived though we made our reservation hours before arriving The clerk at the desk was unprepared for us he was slow and unfriendly. At night they have a walk up window and we had to wait out in the […] cold for about 15 minutes for him to get his act together. The clerk did not tell us what time the continental breakfast was, and though we paid $10 for an additional guest he failed to provide us with additional towels, also he forgot to give us an Internet code, and when I requested an hour later checkout because we are coming in at 3:30 in the morning after a long drive he told me that he couldn't provide this luxury because Saturday's are his most busiest day (yet the parking lot was empty). The next morning when I called down to the office requesting the Internet code, and extra towels they told me that the Internet code was written on the back of my keys (which was not) and that there were plenty of towels in the bathroom so therefore we should not need any extras. Overall I was very sad, I had a horrible short night's sleep and these people are in the hospitality and sleep business yet they are not hospitable and they don't care about your sleep. Read more

We did not expect a mansion, and price certainly played a part in our selecting this hotel. It was clean, although the room has certainly seen better days. My husband and I were traveling with my mother and her small dog and due to illness, wanted her in an adjoining room. They did find a pet friendly room for her and another room right next door (although […] not adjoining). After an early dinner we returned to our room just in time for our new upstairs "neighbors" to arrive. Much to our surprise, when shortly afterwards, the ceiling in our bathroom started leaking. We could see where the ceiling had been opened and repaired prevously. Altnough the parking lot was recently recovered and it was difficult to find other parking at first, the staff and the room were both excellant. I would stay there again for just 1 night as a layover off Interstate 5. It is easy to find, close to downtown, has good food choices within walking distance.
