My only small gripe was that the Hotel is in the Historic district of Charleston and if you are not familiar with the area the Hotel is difficult to recognize, even with GPS. Of course, we arrived at night and that made it more difficult. Got on Cell Phone with night clerk and she talked us right in with no problem. Very convenient to Market Street and lots of sight-seeing. Would definitely go back when we are in Charleston again.

All three concierges (aka check in person) were helpful, pleasant, and made an effort to see that we were guided properly. The room didn't measure up to the hype but was pleasant nevertheless. Parking is behind the hotel and is 12 dollars per day at this time, which is commensurate or less than surrounding commercial parking but with the advantage of in and out privilege. The free continental breakfast is next door in a sister hotel. The breakfast is ample and for a reasonable fee it can be expanded to a hot breakfast. Anyplace in the historic district would be a good location as the area is small enough to be walkable.

We were happily given good information by the three concierges we dealt with during our two day stay. The people are universally helpful. The rooms are not quite as pretty as the pictures, however the free WiFi worked well and the room was clean with good attention paid by the cleaning staff. The TV is small, but that's not why you're in Charleston. The hotel is part of a small group in Charleston called "Charming Hotels" and the free continental breakfast is next door in one of those. Full breakfast is available. An ample parking lot is behind the hotel with currently a 12 dollar daily charge which provides unlimited in and out. City parking lots in the area are at least as expensive.

The Fulton Lane Inn is a nice hotel in the historic area of Charleston . The lobby is a small room off of King St. on Fulton Lane .There is no restaurant , bar , gym , pool within the facility .The employees who i dealt with were all friendly and informative about the area. The room was a nice large room with high ceilings that looked out onto King St. The bathroom in the room was also large . The entire place was in excellant condition and very clean . The internet service was sketchy , I lost all service at night around midnight , both nights I was there. I asked if my room could be made up before 12:30pm , as i like to put my toddler son up for a nap around 1pm , they did not show up to make the room until 2pm , while he was sleeping . So the service isn't all I think it should be. All of that aside , I would recommend this hotel on it's condition and location alone

We were running hours late and were welcomed right in at our midnight check-in. Parking is additional and will run you $12/day, but you're guaranteed a spot in a public lot. Unless you're heading to Folly Beach or North Charleston, leave your car and walk/take a bike taxi around town, it's worth seeing the details of the homes and buildings. Free breakfast every morning was nice. The first morning, 2 ordered items were forgotten, but the staff was quick to bring them up. The order was perfect the other 2 days. I'd definitely stay here again, it's reasonable and so close to everything.

This is only available from 5-7 so make sure you get to that first before going out to dinner or ghost tours. The room itself was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. It was a bit high off the ground in case your are not tall, even me at 6 feet tall had to hop up a bit. But the room was quiet and very comfortable. We became aware of the reason behind the discounted price on the Inn when we saw the road work going on outside the inn but luckily they didn't start work until 10am so our sleep wasn't disturbed. The consierge staff was very helpful (Susu and others). Pros: 1.Wine and cheese every night. We did not have to order a drink at dinner so this easily saved us 20/night. 2. Location location location. Can't possibly get better. One block from the market. Right off King St. Easy walking to the battery and houses. All restaurants close by 3. Breakfast brought to your room every morning - Included. Now what other hotel at this price provides that. Cons: Water pressure. I don't know about other places in the area so maybe its low everywhere in that area. But the shower was weak - but usable. Overall - We would stay again. Our room was located on the second floor. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious. I had read other reviews that mentioned noise problems in the mornings but I felt that this was not an issue. You need to keep in mind that you are staying the city so there will be some noise but nothing bad. The hotel is located within walking distance to everything. We never had to use our car. There is plenty of parking located behind the hotel, so no worries on where to park at. Plenty of restaurants and shops within minutes. I can not stress enough on what a great location this is. Complimentary breakfast (contential) is brought to your room every morning. You select the items you want and time that you want it sent to your room. Do take advantage of the free wine and cheese that is available every evening, its very delightful and a great way to have a little appetizer before you go out to dinner. Comfortable bedding (was someones make-up smudged stained on the sheet and the hotel never sent someone to change after we commented on it). The front desk staff was helpful in suggestions on what to see and do, made restaurant reservations, etc. They offer free breakfast in your room - this was the only disappointment of our stay.
