Great stay close to Grand Teton
The Hatchet Resort is close to Grand Teton National Park. The hotel is cosy and with lovely details. Great food in the restaurant next to the hotel (breakfast and dinner).

It was great! If we go visit Yellowstone again we will stay here again. And I will tell all my friends stay in this hotel when they go visit Yellowstone. Thx!

OK, but a little pricey.
For a "resort", there was only the option of dining. No activities on site, and a noisy motor running off and on outside of our room at all hours. TV was on when we entered the room, and I suspect it was so we didn't hear that noise. The food was good. No other options near by to eat, so prices are a little on the spendy side. Room seemed clean.

Out of the way and a bit expensive, but nice
Two nite stay coming in from Yellowstone and exploring Jackson and area on day 2. It was a nice enough place and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. The cost of the room may be reasonable for the area (based on other prices I saw) but it was a long way from Jackson and any resturants bar the one on site. There were a few things that I feel should really have been included at almost $170 per nite - eg breakfast, a coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. I will say that Hot water and a hair dryer was obtained for me on request but they both should have been available in the room. Spent 5 days touring from Denver through Hill City, Deadwood, Billings, Cody & Yellowstone befor staying here and this was by far (at least %50% more) the most expensive place we stayed but had the least provided for the cost. I cant say it was not nice or that anything else was really wrong but it is lacking on the value for money aspect and these days - especially at ~$170 per nite, an included breakfast and a hair dryer and coffee maker in the room should not be too much to expect

Great staff!
Outstanding staff! They made the whole experience worthwhile. The rooms were a bit old, but the property was built in the 1950's in the middle of the forrest. It has a country cabin type of feel. Pretty standard for this area I guess. Rooms are clean and quiet, and the views in the area are amazing. I'll definitely be back.
