Hotel room was very confortable with spectacular views from our terrace which was complete with a table and two chairs including two sun loungers - which means you could sunbathe in total privacy!! The hotel facility was very good, however, I was alittle disappointed in the service provided in the dining room. The host was less than helpful or gracious in our various dealings with him. This is a great 4* hotel suitable for all. The rooms are spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient, just by the coast road, and a few minutes drive from the autostrade access. The hotel provides a free bus service to Taormina and to a nearby private beach. The nearby town of Letojanni boasts an excellent seafood […] restaurant called "Da Nino" which is right on the beach. Definitely recommend visits to Castelmola (above Taormina) and Forza d'Agro. Savoca (of The Godfather fame) is also nearby and well worth a visit. Parking in the towns is now largely controlled by blue lines for which payment is required (the tricky bit is finding out where to buy the ticket, sometimes from a tobacconist shop, sometimes from a machine, and sometimes from a person in the street). White line parking is free, but in some places is restricted to residents only. Yellow line parking is generally for the disabled. If renting a car strongly recommend a small car which is easy to park. If driving for the first time in Sicily, be aware of the local customs of cutting every corner and overtaking at every opportunity! Strongly recommend taking out a car hire excess policy (available on the internet from as little as £1.99 per day) before starting holiday. Read more

The hotel may sound impressive, but the truth is that it is far from. It is rather dated, the rooms are very unimpressive, air-conditioning is barely working, and they do not undertand the concept of the double-bed (to them it is two single beds pushed together). On a positive note, the hotel has very nice and comfortable beach facilities.

The views from the hotel are superb. The pools are lovely (one salt water) and never seem to get crowded. It is a very clean hotel decorated in traditional Sicilian style, and the staff are courteous and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, continental style. We would certainly wish to go back there.

Booked sea view was given a room with a large rock in front they did change after we would not accept it. Bed very hardand room slightly outdated. You need a car if staying here as there is nothing in the area. Hotel very nice inside plus 2 lovely pools. Reception when booking out did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay.

It has a wonderful pool area which can be accessed by a lift and has great views of the sea. There are some interesting places to visit nearby including Forza D'Agro and Savoca where various clips from "The Godfather were filmed. The Hotel reception staff were very unhelpful when I asked if possible on the first day to change our room, due to the mould in the shower and hard mattress. Our room never had the floor swept for one week. Would suggest to book a room ONLY in the recent new building. Hotel food good. Drinks expensive. Very far out from any centre. Accoglienza e disponibilità da parte del personale eccellenti. La piscina ora si può raggiungere in ascensore, per il mare (e per Taormina) c'è il servizio navetta. Nessuna sorpresa al momento del conto finale. La vista dalla camera valeva comunque da sola il soggiorno.....

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig aber sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Sattelittenfernsehen des ARD ist in den Abendstunden sehr störanfällig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist einfach und könnte ein wenig abwechslung vertragen. Taormina kann mit dem Hoteleigenen Shuttelservice nach 15-20 Min. fahrt erreicht werden. Kein Hotel für Strandurlauber.

Bâtisse magnifique, cadre splendide et très haut potentiel! Par contre à l'entretien navrant! Nous avons eu l'impression que tout l'entretien est laissé pour l'après-saison: joints sanitaires, peintures, accessoires etc ... Entretien idem pour la zone piscines. Pas de carte de repas, buffet c'est tout! Minibar minimaliste. Quelques chambres de-luxe […] et un SPA ne fonts pas un 4*. En suisse et dans bon nombres de pays à tradition hôtelière il reste à 3*. Si vous n'avez pas de véhicule, c'est compliqué: taxi ou navette de l'hôtel à heures fixes pouvant être surbookée. Le staff de nuit c'est avéré incapable de gérer les débordements nocturne d'un congrès. Pour les plus: La plage est belle, l'eau baignable même en octobre! Les chambres ont une vue imprenable sur la mer, les jardins et terrasses sont magnifiques. La directrice et une partie du staff administratif se sont avérés très compétents et ont sus compenser une partie de nos désagréments et le manque de formation du reste du personnel, service hum.. Si l'entretien s'améliore, cet hôtel est à recommander aux groupes, congrès etc... ou aux séjours de courtes durées si vous n'avez pas de véhicule. Read more

Gutes Hotel mit teilweise in die Jahre gekommener Einrichtung (z.B. Fitnessraum, Lounge-Bereich). Restaurant wenig einladend; man kann aber auf der Terasse frühstücken. Qualität des Abendbuffets nicht dem Preis angemessen und wenig attraktiv (lange vorher vorbereitet und zerkocht). Frühstück ohne Abwechslung und mit schlichter Qualität.

Jättefin utsikt från hotellet. Hotellet i sig känns väldigt konservativt inrett och nedgånget. Nere vid poolerna var bara den ena fylld med vatten och insekter. Luktade äggmök där nere, konstant! Plus för shuffle-bussarna som man kan använda sig av för att ta sig till stranden eller Taormina.

Das Hotel ist eine gute Ausgangslage um die Insel zu erkunden. Wer ohne Mietwagen unterwegs ist, hat die Möglichkeit mit dem Hotelbus nach Taormina zu gelangen. Wer einen Mietwagen hat, sollte gut mit der Handbremse umgehen können und kann am Hotel kostenlos parken. Die Autobahn ist schnell zu erreichen (Kosten EUR 1,70 Catania-Taormina). Die Mitarbeiter […] an der Rezeption sind super. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ok. Netter wäre es etwas Gemüse wie Gurken und Tomaten zu haben. Für einen Ausflugstag hätten wir eher frühstücken können und auch Sachen vom Buffet für den Ausflug durften mitgenommen werden. Die Zimmer waren sauber, tägliche Reinigung und saubere Handtücher. Personal sehr nett und fröhlich bei der Arbeit. Safe ist auf dem Zimmer ohne Zusatzkosten vorhanden.Den Spa-Bereich haben wir nicht genutzt und abends haben wir in den Restaurants in Umgebung (oder weiter weg) gegessen.Daher keine Angabe zum Restaurant. Die Snackbar ist für einen Snack ok. Tolle Tipps auch von den Mitarbeitern zu abendlichen Essensmöglichkeiten. Es war nur die Nutzung eines Pools möglich. Aber trotzallem total nett. Als Ausgangslage für die Inselerkundung ohne allzuhohe Frühstückserwartungen ist dieses Hotel zu empfehlen. Ob dieses Hotel allerdings in der Hauptsasion bei "vollem Haus" die ganzen Besucher beim Frühstück schafft, mag ich nicht ganz glauben. Read more

Aufenthalt vom 08.09.2010 - 21.10.2010. In dieser Zeit wurden viele Veranstaltungen für Feierlichkeiten (Familienfeiern Treffen des Automobilclubs usw.) durchgeführt. Im Oktober 2010 fuhren wir mit mit Freunden ins Baja T.Hotel bei Forzo de Agro. Die gewünschten Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick entsprachen unseren Vorstellungen, es war alles sauber und zweckmässig eingerichet inklusive Klimaanlage, die im Hochsommer nicht zu verachten ist. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage, die Ausstattung der Restaurants,der Bar und […] natürlich der wunderschöne Blick vom Balkon, von den Pools,des Restaurantes auf die Steilküste von Taormina. Das Frühstück zeichnete sich durch Eintönigkeit des Buffetts aus und die nicht immer schnelle Auffüllung der Speisen, so dass etliche Touristen sich oft beschwerten. Abends kann man dort per Karte essen oder sich auch am Buffettessen bedienen, welchen einen stolzen Preis hat. Haben wir nur am 1.Abend gemacht, ansonsten sind wir zum Abendessen per Mietwagen in die umlieg. Orte (Letojanni,Naxos) oder per Hotelshuttlebus nach Taormina gefahren. Die Pools sind sehr schön angelegt, doch fehlen bei denen ein seitlicher Absatz zum abstellen der Füße und die Halterung für die Hände zum Festhalten fehlte ganz. Es ist nach wie vor ein emphelenswertes Hotel in herrlicher Lage unweit von Taorima. Die Mängel lassen sich ja verbessern...vielleicht haben sich ja die Beschwerden gelohnt. Read more

Wij hadden de junior suite in het Baia Taormina Grand Palace Hotels & Spa. De kamer en badkamer waren mooi en (zeer) ruim. Er was een jacuzzi in de badkamer. Het grote bed was erg goed en het terras was mooi. Dan nu de negatieve puntjes: het personeel in het restaurant en bij het zwembad was onvriendelijk, er kon geen woord vanaf. Verder ligt het hotel […] enigzins afgelegen, waardoor je min of meer verplicht bent het buffet in het hotel te gebruiken. Dat was prima en lekker, maar is zoals vaker in hotels van dag tot dag nagenoeg hetzelfde. Na een dag of twee, drie is het dan wel tijd voor iets anders. Read more

Das Hotel liegt wirklich hervorragend, hat allerdings keinen eigenen Strand, sondern man muss mit dem Shuttle oder eigenen Wagen zum Strand fahren. Das Hotel ist zwar erst 10 bzw. 5 Jahre alt, hat jedoch einen altmodischen Charme. Es sind dort sehr viele Pauschalreisende, was keine wirklich angenehme Atmosphäre ergibt. Ein Beispiel hierfür ist das […] Frühstück, das mehr an das Frühstücken in einer Bahnhofshalle erinnert als an ein Grand Hotel. Unabhängig davon ist auch dort die Frühstücksauswahl mäßig und der Service nicht fachmännisch. Der Cappucino ist dort normaler Kaffee mit aufgeschäumter Milch - das mag einen Eindruck geben, wie dort der Flair ist. Die Zimmer im Grand Hotel - Bereich sind schön mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es gibt zwei Pools, aber dafür fahre ich ja nicht an´s Meer. Theoretisch kann man zwar über Stufen direkt zum Meer kommen, dort ist aber kein Service und der Weg dorthin ist völlig ungepflegt. Deshalb das oben genannte Angebot, kostenlos ein Strandbad zu nutzen in ca. 2 km Entfernung. Read more

Sia Taormina che la spiaggia attrezzata sono comunque facilmente raggiungibili grazie al servizio gratuito […] delle navette messe a disposizione dall'hotel. La posizione e la vista sono veramente spettacolari da tutte le camere. Bella e curata la piscina e bellissima la spiaggia e il mare raggiungibili a piedi dall'hotel con una comoda e facile stradina. Tutto il personale e' sempre stato gentilissimo, cordiale e disponibile per ogni esigenza. La colazione ricca ma un po' ripetitiva. Read more

L'hôtel, situé à 8 km de Tarmina, le long de la côte (et de la nationale qui la longe) offre le confort d'un hôtel isolé : grande piscine, tranquilité et vue dégagée. Par contre, impossible de sortir manger en dehors de l'hôtel le soir sans prendre sa voiture et le buffet - à volonté - servi à l'hôtel est bien mais un peu cher, au dessus de 30 euros […] par personne hors boissons. Il faut donc profiter d'une formule pension complète ou s'organiser pour sortir (avec les problèmes de parking propres à la Sicile et accrus à Tarmina). Les petits dej étaient très corrects, l'accueil sympa et parfois en français, une navette en place avec Taormina. La vue mer et les grandes chambres valent le séjour. Luogo molto bello, tranquillo e riposante. Se si vuole andare in giro é meglio noleggiare un auto perché le opzioni fornite dall'hotel sono poche: navetta spiaggia e quella per taormina.
