This was such a cute little hotel decked out in all wooden decor on the inside. It's definitely a great value find. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful and the location is close to the lake, the nice scenery, and great restaurants. Definitely would recommend this place to budget travelers.

When we arrived we were greeted quickly and efficiently with a smile. We were very happy with the location in close proximity (across the street) to Heavenly. We loved the large two tier whirlpool, cleanliness of the room and the super comfy bed!!! We will definitely be back!!

There is no sound insulation between rooms, and the next room neighbor managed to have the TV on until 5am and had our next day ruined. They managed to switch the room which was much better but not really recommended for a comfortable stay.

The 3 Peaks Resort and Beach Club is now my favorite place to stay. It offers affordable deluxe accommodations close to everything in South Lake Tahoe. Gary was working the front desk when we checked in. He made us feel very welcome. The value of our stay was fantastic as we got a deal for visiting off-season then Gary made sure we got the best room […] possible. The room was excellent; clean with a good-sized bath tub, and the mattress was more comfortable than the one we have at home! This place is close to everything: the lake, casinos, restaurants, we were even able to see a great 3D movie a few blocks away at the Heavenly Cinema. Christina and Deon at the front desk helped my wife and me immensely, with local advise about where to eat and what sights to see. Deon made sure my phone worked, when we got there , no dial tone and our floor safe wouldn't lock, that was fixed. Gary the GM also gave advice about the Beacon and we had a fabulous time there and it was a new adventure […] for us. The sad part was the room we asked for and were upgraded to was a pool side room, at 10 pm we were locked into out patio, which is strange as our last stay there, we were able to use the pool and hot tub after hours. The hotel was good for the price.The pool is seasonal so it was not open early May although many surrounding hotels had heated pools open. They keep strict tabs on the towels, even for pool/hot tub use they ask for room number and record how many are taken/returned. The room was small with only 1 chair. No table so we used the top of the mini fridge. […] The bed was comfortable but pillows flat. The "beach club" is shared with a number of other hotels and is essentially a small stretch that is supposedly restricted to guests. When we were there (early May) the gate was not locked and random people would come and go that were obviously not guests. The hotel is in a great location. I'd probably have chosen another hotel however this worked perfectly sine they are pet friendly. Read more

I loved it!!! I really enjoyed the hospitality, the staff were very friendly and informative. Jacuzzi was beyond measure; It was 5 star. It was more than I expected. As soon as we checked in they upgraded our stay; they gave us an extra room. We also had a full kitchen and fireplace. I recommend this hotel. Very comfy bed and pillows.

The way the rooms are setup, they have parking lots on either side of your room so you can hear car alarms, people arriving/departing constantly. The condition of the room was quite dated and the furniture was tired and worn (drawers would not open easily, etc). There were two TV's but only one DVD player which I had to move for the kids to use. The […] sofa bed was terrible, with one of those awfull (I hesitate to call it a mattress) thin mattresses with the springs poking through . . .. my kids chose the floor instead. The kitchen was awkward to use and not well appropriated. The pool was closed for the winter, which was not reflected in the Hotel.com description. The club house was nice and had a pool table and there was a large spa available. The staff at the front desk was friendly and houskeeping did a good job. The free wifi was appreciated. I am a usual skeptic when it comes to online reviews of hotels. I always feel as if others are too critical or too complimentive of their stay. After reading about 3 Peaks and all the great reviews I decided to book and I am so glad I did. We stayed in the 2b & 1bath suite and loved it so much, my family did not want to leave! That stay was absolutely awesome. Upon arriving I was greeted promptly by the front desk personnel. I asked where some good eateries were and places to see and they kindly assisted me in finding some great places to go. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent our first anniversary weekend at this hotel and we were more than satisfied. We stayed in a poolside suite and the hot tub in our room was very convenient. The shower is monstrous in it's size. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The proximity to the lake and to the stateline was the icing on the cake.
