"Service could be a little better"
The hotel is beautiful and so is the surroundings. A bit more emphasis should be put on improving the service for instance having the room cleaned on time or as requested during the time you are not inside, check out reminder, faster room service as it's almost 45 mins. Cordial staff though.

"Perfect Stay"
We have just stayed for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting, staff, restaurants and accommodation were all excellent. We had an Ocean View double room which was high ceilinged and spacious with a balcony/small terrace and roomy bathroom. We were on an all inc 'package' and all the restaurants were very good and the food both varied, well prepared and delicious. Everyone on the staff- from gardeners and water sports team to reception and restaurant were incredibly friend and helpful. Don't worry about the transfer time from the airport, it's like a mini tour as you cross the island! We will definitely be returning.

"True paradise"
Having visited many of the Caribbean islands I had certain expectations of the resort. I can truly say that Windjammer and St.Lucia exceeded all of them. We were upgraded to a beautiful villa with uninterupted views of the sea and all mod cons. Service was excellent and extremely prompt in all areas of the hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble and by the end of the week we really felt like part of the family. Being on the side of a mountain certainly works off the extra food consumption (I would highly recommend the Upper deck for dinner and Embers and Jammers for lunch!), but there are very regular shuttles that take you too and from your door if you are not feeling up to it. Lots of activities if you feel so inclined or a perfect beach with comfy loungers if that floats your boat. I really would encourage anyone to go. My husband and I never return to a place, but we have already decided to go back next year.

"Long way to go for uninspired resort"
Took two hours to travel by taxi from the airport. We travelled with friends who got the upgrade when the resort was overbooked for the one-bedroom villas. Our villa was pretty shabby with a bathtub that would not drain so we requested a change. The next day they gave us a two-bedroom villa, much better maintained but with a large flight of inside stairs from street level, steps up and down to the living room, and even stairs to the master bath from the bedroom! The second bedroom was another flight of stairs down from there. We are in our 70's with arthritis. Who builds a place like this? Combined with the steep terrain throughout the resort we felt we were training for the Iron Man, though they did offer on-demand shuttle service to help get around (not always convenient). The restaurants were great, though pricey. The people were awesomely helpful and friendly. The beach was popular, though swimming was restricted because of sea urchins. In the end we were just happy not to be included in the winter storms in North America. The seascape was breathtaking. Don't go to the day spa. The staff does not seem quite professional. Pedicure was terrible. Got pushed out the door with twisted tissue between my toes before the polish could set. Sanitation iffy.

"Windjammer Landing - an excellent place to stay"
We had a fantastic week at Windjammer Landing. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Pros: Stunning setting with beautiful buildings and facilities; staff could not be more friendly and helpful; a great range of activities (watersports, expeditions - even Creole lessons) and entertainments; 15 minute bus ride from Gros-Islet and Rodney Bay; well stocked mini-mart; nice beach; well equipped gym available 24/7 (on request); free wi-fi available throughout the site. Cons: On-site restaurants were a little pricey; it was a 1 mile walk from the resort entrance to the main road / bus stop - was a little disconcerting at night (taxis are available as an alternative); site is quite steep (but hotel provides a free shuttle to your villa on request) During our visit, my partner was stung by a stonefish (which I understand is extremely rare). A member of the hotel staff came with us to the hospital, stayed with us the entire time and arranged taxis and payment for treatment. Every member of staff thereafter politely enquired after my partner's health. The Windjammer staff were thoroughly marvellous.

"Greek-style village on Amalfi-style coast"
Our family of 4 (Mum, Dad and two adult children) absolutely loved this resort. Our spotless semi-detached villa was totally private and spread over three floors with all the space and convenience of a full home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the views breath-taking and the facilities excellent. Some lovely touches such as the "hammock forest" at the opposite end of the beach to the water sports centre catered for the very active and the totally passive.

"Generally of a high standard."
Unfortunately building work was being carried out throughout our stay. On 4/5 days a breaker was being used all day which was more than just an irritation. There was no attempt to contain the disruption and the decibel levels were higher than of an acceptable nature. There was no mention of this when we booked our accommodation. Working in construction the last thing I required on an expensive holiday was the everyday continual noise of my everyday surroundings.

"Beautiful resort, excellent staff"
Had a wonderful stay at the Windjammer. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. One situation where a timeshare saleswoman got a little over-pushy with us, but one of the other hotel staff spotted this from a distance, stepped in and dealt with the situation with minimum fuss. Very impressed that all inclusive genuinely meant all inclusive; other resorts we've stayed at have had many caveats that they don't like to show off about. We were genuinely able to eat and drink as much as we liked without worrying about our bill at the end. The excursions the hotel put on are excellent. The catamaran trip is a great day out, and the zip lining is a must; great fun. The setting for the hotel is quite beautiful. The rooms are spread out over quite a big area and some of them are quite high up the hill. But a shuttle runs 24 hours so getting to the main area of the resort is never a problem. And the views from some of the higher rooms is unbelievable. The only criticism I would have is that the food is a little disappointing. It is OK, but don't expect fine dining. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay at great value which was made all the more fantastic by the staff.

"Nice but not great service"
Its a pleasant resort and the restaurants are good, but quite expensive. The shuttle service works well so do not worry about the villas on a hill, the views are amazing and worth the walk/shuttle. The room was not quite as advertised, for example there was no DVD player and a very old TV, we did not mind as we were not there to watch TV but review your room against what you booked before unpacking. The hotel guest services are below par, they assign each room an "ambassador" which is code word for time share seller and we were woken up by ours phoning to see if everything is okay. The information contained in the guest services book was very out of date, a map without the suites by reception, out of date numbers (took us ages to find out all restaurant bookings went via reception and not the restaurants directly as the booklet advised). We reported a broken fan at reception and had to chase to get it fixed. We booked a restaurant via reception one night but the restaurant had no record of the booking. The hotel has their own taxis which is useful and we booked the day before we left to be taken to the airport but reception had no record of it when we were ready to go. They just don't seem to care enough to get things right, which is a shame as good service would make this resort excellent.

"Good resort with some flaws"
Overall a great stay thanks mainly to the experienced front-line staff. First night was a disappointment due to a broken lock and a broken shower - none of which got fixed while we stayed in the room. However, next day the duty manager R.C. upgraded us to a much better room for the remaining two nights of our stay in order to compensate us for the ordeal of the first night. This certainly worked and we were generally very happy with the last two nights of our stay.

"Disappointing marketing"
It is a good resort with lots of different activities. The staff are laid back and on the whole wanting to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. They are very focused on trying to get you to return to their island. Sadly, we have two main disappointments from our stay. Firstly, we thought we were booking the pool that was shown on the Expedia description. However, this pool is an 'infinity' pool. Most of the villas have 'plunge' pools which are actually slightly larger then hot tubs. This was a huge disappointment as we booked the two-bedroomed villa thinking we would be getting the pool shown on the Expedia advert. Secondly, the kid's club was hit and miss. Out of the whole week our son attended two sessions. Not the club we expected and certainly not what was advertised.

"A good choice for a family with kids from 7-16 yrs"
A very good choice for families - we stayed in a two bed villa which we found very comfortable and spacious and the abiltiy to make simple snacks in the room for kids was great. The beach and the water sport facilities are very good and appealed to an 8 year old and 13 year old. The service ranges from excellent to being ignored and verging on rude depending on the person you are dealing with. In one instance we had to enlist the help of the genral manager just to make a reservation in one of the hotel restaurants. That said it did not spoil the trip nor the overall experience which still comes down on the positve and we may well return. I would recommend this for stays of 7-10 days.

"OBS!

"Wonderful place to stay"

Beautiful location, fantastic accommodation and lovely staff. It certainly ticks all the boxes. We were given a rum punch on arrival and had an individual check in which was particularly impressive. We were then told that we had been upgraded to a self catering villa which was a lovely surprise. Staff at Windjammer seem to have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable and if you are looking for a four star experience then book here. Highly recommended

"Fantastic holiday"
07/30/15 Lindy1967 Abingdon, England, United Kingdom
First trip to St Lucia and Windjammer Landing. Had a wonderful holiday. The staff really make the stay at WJ special, they are friendly and can't do enough for you. We got given a 3 bed villa even though we only booked a 2 bed, we were lucky to be no 21 near the restaurants so didn't bother with the shuttle bus. The villa had a lovely view of he bay. It also was clean, spacious, fully equipped and the housekeeping staff were great. The food was great, good selection, our favourite was Papa Dons. The service in the Upper Deck was very slow. One time we waited 2 hours and we only had again course, when we complained Angus couldn't do enough for us to apologise. When we went to the Upper Deck again a couple of nights later, he remembered us and was very attentive but we still had a long wait. The problem seems to be that it shares the bar and kitchen with Jammers and struggles to cope at times. The waiting overshadows the excellent food at the Upper Deck. There was always enough sun beds and we positioned ourselves near to the 96 degree in the shade bar and had a daily 11am appointment with the bar for our first refreshment of the day. Nona who runs the bar every day except Sarurday makes the best cocktails, we really think that it should be renamed Nona's Bar.! The beach was ok although a little rocky on places, it could be a bit tricky getting out to the hammocks in the sea. Our only real gripe was the ticket system, we were all inclusive and yet had to sign for everything. At times is was annoying asking for a bill when you knew you had nothing to pay. Would be better if WJ could consider a wrist band system for those who were inclusive. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and having been out of the resort and looked at other resorts WJ is one of the better ones. We will definitely be going back.

"Didn't want to come home!"
07/30/15 E-Liz212 Cambridge, United Kingdom
We never return to the same place twice, but after a successful trip in 2013 we decided to come back to Windjammer in 2015. As a family of five from the UK it is honestly the only place that manages to satisfy everyone. My husband windsurfed every day, my young sons learnt to water ski and my teenage daughter found a gaggle of other lovely teenagers to hang out with. This enabled me to put my feet up and relax by the beach or pool. Perfect! Since our last visit many parts of the resort have been freshened up, with new decking, new decor, an extended beach and a new, and high quality spa. I had the best massage I had ever had from Julianna! There had clearly been a drive for higher customer service standards since our last visit, as the majority of the staff couldn't do enough to help. Don't expect the highly polished 'excellence' that you get at a 5* resort in, for example, Asia, which is lovely but can be a bit impersonal, and a word of warning, do bring plenty of mosquito body spray! Occasionally the service is a little too relaxed but there is a magic about Windjammer that is hard to define. So many of the families we met had visited more than once. Our ambassador (every visitor is allocated one) telephoned our room regularly to make sure everything was fine. Ronnie in Jammers (beach bar) was great, as was Andre in Papa Dons restaurant. Winston and Clint and everyone at the water sports centre were fantastic. The rooms are all of a high standard and are spacious and clean with everything a family needs. Our daily cleaner Jeanne was wonderful and insisted on doing our washing up saying ' you are on vacation, you must relax!' Our three bedroom apartment had a lovely splash pool and the views from every villa are incredible. I could go on, but the best bit?...... Sitting in Jammers beach bar, watching the sun set, with my happy and relaxed family around me. Truly heaven. We are coming back next year and we are already excited.

"Paradise found!"
07/30/15 filly21 Birmingham, England
I rarely want to return to a place twice, too many places in the world to visit but if I only holidayed at Windjammer for the rest of my life I'd be one happy person! Let me explain. Windjammer is a hotel set in a private bay on a gorgeous beach with plenty of loungers, beach service flags and lots of towels. 'Rooms' are made up of rooms, suites and 2/3/4 bed villas split into traditional and estate all on the hill. There are lots of different types so check you know what you are getting. Being up on the hill means I imagine every room has fairly uninterrupted Caribbean Sea views which are spectacular. We stayed in 504 a 2-bed estate villa right at the top of the hill. Little minibus shuttles ferry you up and down so I can't imagine there is a bad position but ours was beautifully peaceful. If I was being picky I'd say it needed a bit of a refresh decoration wise but they are doing a program of refurbs ending at the top of the hill, the refurbed ones look gorgeous. Our villa had two bedrooms, each with walk in wardrobe and bathroom and balcony. Views I would never tire of and a sunset every night. Also had a sitting room downstairs with loo attached (could sleep another 2) and kitchen diner both leading into veranda with dining table, outdoor sofa and steps to plunge pool. Heaven! Fridge was a tiny bit smelly but that was a minor point. It was all kept very clean and there was a washer and dryer which was great. Seemed to be all glasses, plates and utensils you'd need. If on all inclusive get a few cans of coke etc to take to the room and bottled water, even a beer or two and before you know it your fridge is stocked for free. Even take a pizza to go and you have villa snacks!! The Estate villas are detached and the traditional ones are attached however privacy is good at all villas I saw (saw 3). Each villa has a pool of varying size. More plunge than swim but a real luxury. The guests are a good mixture of US / UK / Europe/ Carribbean from what I saw when we were there and a mix of holidayers and returning timeshare owners. We almost bought one we loved it so much! There were families we met who returned year after year and who's children grew up returning and making new friends and meeting up with old ones each year. We went all inclusive and food was great. Dragonfly was buffets and a la carte (plus daily breakfast looking over the beach) Jammers great beach bar and beach food, Upper Deck lovely a la carte and Embers beach bar/ lunch place. Papa Dons slightly up the hill was Italian and had a nice pool too - shame it wasn't open for lunch as if you went to the pool there there'd be no food / drink in the day. Drinks by the glass all included as well as house champagne and a fab cocktail menu, all of which were also served at 96 degrees in the shade beach bar down the beach. People at the bar were 99% friendly and fantastic! Each time you ate or drank you had to sign the check which was fine but encouraged you to tip, by the end of the week we'd racked up quite a bill of tips despite being all inclusive so I would be aware of that and in the future think we'd tip in cash (US$ or EC$) instead to keep track. Kids food also good and all restaurants children friendly. You could get room service for a $15 tray charge. Shops sold most essentials, some food for villa cooking and beach stuff etc. Entertainment nightly was mostly music. Don't miss the fire eating and limbo show! Take mozzy spray but wasn't a massive problem. Kids club was great. Every evening my 8 year old begged to go there from 6.30 for cocktail night, pizza night, movie night, pirate night and a disco which meant we ate as a couple almost every night. What a treat! Girls there were brilliant. Also in the day she did beach games, pool time, speed boat ride and art and crafts and made a few friends she splashed about in the pool with. Good for the one day it rained all day too. Water sports at one end of the bay had free kayaks, pedaloes and two snorkelling trips a day (2 two different locations). Also waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing - these three you had to pay for a lesson first if you were new to it before taking out equipment. Fair enough. Safety very good. Life jackets for everyone on all trips. Also a dive centre which was extra charge. We did the sunset cruise - fantastic end to the week and free if you listen to the timeshare pitch. Also a day trip to Soufriere on a catamaran to the botanical gardens and to try the volcanic mud with lunch and snorkelling. Great fun but the mud pool there was like a REALLY hot bath so too hot for most kids. Zip wire and chocolate factory and rum trips also looked but we didn't have time for it all. Would love to explore more of the island and go for carnival next time, everyone was talking about it and we just missed it! Tennis courts and new spa lovely. Used the gym once (day 1 - it didn't last!!) which was good and there were daily classes. I did aqua aerobics daily which was great fun. Spa looked beautiful and people I spoke to loved it but it was expensive and they didn't have a slit for a couples massage on the rainy day so we didn't book in the end. This place feels relaxed, safe (about a mile from the main road and bay doesn't 'go' anywhere) and has such a nice vibe. Lots of families but also some couples, young and old. Honestly I felt it had more of a family than a honeymoon vibe which was perfect for us but I didn't meet anyone not having a fantastic time and there were plenty of loved up couples there! Went people we'll def stay in touch with. The weather was beautifully hot (30) but with a good breeze. Lots of spf needed, with spf50 3 times a day my fair skinned daughter still got a tiny bit burned so sun tops a must for kids in the pool. Only one full day of rain and then one small shower which didn't even get me off my lounger, just cooled me down! The highest recommendation is that we are already waiting to book flights for next year. Such a special place, feel like we have stumbled across a truly magical holiday spot. Thankyou WJL.

"Best holiday ever!"

We booked our holiday through Virgin and have to say they were excellent in handling our queries before and during our holiday. We were advised before our visit of the building works on the beach and felt apprehensive about spending a well deserved break listening to diggers, however, more about that later. On arrival we received a warm welcome from the staff, served with a rum punch (adults) / fruit punch (kids), whilst we filled out our paperwork. We were delighted to be informed we were upgraded to a estate villa (415), which was a 2 bed villa with small pool. We were driven up to our villa in the shuttle bus and we're thrilled with our accommodation. It was very spacious, clean, well furnished with excellent views of the bay and beach. The holiday surpassed all of our expectations. The restaurants were great, catering for all tastebuds, including a classic children's menu with all the usual favourites. We even had a Sunday roast dinner on the beach! We went all inclusive and I would highly recommend this, firstly because the restaurants are expensive and secondly because you will well truely get your monies worth back with drink, ice creams, meals and watersports. Papa Doms was our favourite, but it was a close call. Dragonfly restaurant does regular buffets, Upper deck is surf and Turf (best steaks in the hotel) and Jammers does mix of international food. The facilities were great, several pools (with no lifeguards) dotted around the resort, however, we rarely ventured to them as the sea and beach was sublime. There is no escaping the builders noise, however, it's amazing how you forget about it. The building works were fenced off, so no danger of it becoming a hazard. The beach is well secluded in a bay, which is monopolised by the hotel. It is a public beach, but due to its seclusion you did not feel exposed to non hotel residents. There was always security staff patrolling the beach. Also, I should mention you get free wifi around the hotel and has a decent wifi service on the beach. We regularly used the watersports and the equipment and staff were fantastic, My 11 year old son leant to waterski, the lesson was the only thing we had to pay for, however, all subsequent skiing was free. It was a challenge to drag ourselves away from the resort, but glad we did as the island is beautiful and plenty of things to do and see. We went on 3 trips through Virgin, but they are also offered by the hotel. We did the horse riding, Pitons visit (would suggest the surf and turf option) and zip lining through the rainforest, all of which were excellent. Shuttle buses up and down the hill were reliable and fun! I've previously read about the slow bar service, however, we did not encounter this, having said that, previous reviews may have managed our expectations and we were in the Caribbean afterall. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only downside for us was the pesky mosquitoes! if you are susceptible to bites, take a strong repellent. Finally the entertainment was very Caribbean, which we loved. We were amused to hear Ed Sheran on the steel drums. Due to a late departure, we asked for a late check out, which sadly they could not do, however, we did have a complementary room to shower and change in, which was lovely. In summary, this was our best family holiday ever and we've had some fab ones, we truely fell in love with the Caribbean and will venture back again.

This review is long overdue as we stayed in Jul/August 2014. Our villa was superb set very high on the hill overlooking the beautiful bay. The villa was enormous with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and loung downstairs leading our to a private terrace with sun beds, eating area and plunge pool. Upstars the bedroom were beautiful with terrific bathrooms and showers. On my birthday my wife had breakfast delivered to our villa for a negligible $5. Eating eggs Benedict on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Caribbean with a complimentary bottle of Champagane takes some beating. Food and drinks were great; especially the fillet mignon but after two weeks the menu became a little boring. Breakfast was very tasty but a bit of queening needed at the eggs/omelette station. The beach is terrific with plenty of beds and all the water sports are included which does indlcude waterskiing and motorised activities. All in all, great food and drinks, attentive and helpful staff in an idyllic location. Fantastic.

"A Paradise within Paradise"

I have visited St. Lucia on several occasions and stayed at several hotels and villas. This was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had at any Caribbean hotel. The hotel is located on a secluded bay and the beach is essentially private. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in Villa 133 and although it was a 10 minute walk from the lobby, the views were gorgeous. In any event, the shuttle service across the hotel is very efficient and we never waited more than 10 minutes for a shuttle. The villa was well laid out, well equipped and clean. I loved having an outdoor bathroom. The food at all of the restaurants were high quality. I especially recommend Papa Don's, Upper Deck and Dragonfly. Reservations are needed for dinner. The highlights of our trip were the watersport activities and the spa. We had the most amazing massages. I highly recommend starting with a massage as it set the tone for our whole trip. There's also a very modern gym and sauna facility. You can use the equipment and/or take fitness classes. All in all, this was one of our best vacations ever and we will definitely be back at the Windjammer.

"another fabulous st lucian holiday !!"

This was our third trip to St Lucia and to Windjammer Landings About three years we bought a timeshare at Windjammer because we loved the place so much and we are still in love with the place after another two fabulous weeks As always the sun shone although we had quite abit of rain too.......rain in St Lucia never stays long and the rain certainly did not spoil our vacation We stayed in a three bed estate villa this time (421) which was outstanding with the most breath-taking views and PLENTY of room for 5 of us.....the villa's contain all the things you need for your holiday and as we did not do all inclusive, the cooker and other kitchen appliances were absolutely fine for cooking for five people every day or every other day. We ate out quite abit this year BUT the restaurants on the resort are all fabulous with an excellent range of food and quality and service (generally) to match......we did experience one not so great experience...the restaurant ran out of baguettes on one day and the substituted burger bun was ok but much smaller than the baguette which made the meal less positive...however still ok and the other 13 days were brilliant If you do go "off resort" for food then Big Chef in Rodney Bay is excellent (particularly for Steaks) albeit expensive (in our opinion) but if you want a romantic lunch for two (or a nice lunch for family too) then you cannot beat "The Pink Plantation" which is fabulous Overall Service is excellent with most of the staff on resort being incredibly polite and helpful.....a friend of ours experienced a grumpy and very unhelpful receptionist on one day but we always had excellent service throughout the place and cannot fault the people at all...and certainly when we talked to anyone on front desk we were always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.....in particular Essie, Akira and Darrell are fab !!! A special mention to all the "shuttle" drivers too and in particular Heston and Spencer who are excellent and our housekeeper, Maureena, was brilliant The shuttles are amazing re how they run about the resort (the roads/hills are VERY STEEP) and as I say above, all the drivers are very helpful and friendly......if I have one constructive observation I would say this year I felt at times that the resort needed more shuttles on....on three occasions we had to call three times for a shuttle which is just not on and late at night one shuttle is just not enough but overall these are tiny "less positive" comments and I am probably nit picking !!! Helen and all the front of house staff are always happy to help and also Lyndon and Arlington are particularly pleasant and helpful As "owners" we always feel like the Windjammer is a "home from home" and are always treated in a special way.....we love the "timeshare" team who are all great....but particular mention to Nicole, our adopted St Lucia "daughter" who we love to bits.....also special mention to Collette for being so courteous and helpful...she really is the best organiser ...and also Nadege's new hair style is fab !!!! We used the hotel taxi service a lot this year and all the drivers here too are fab but we have a very special relationship with Henry, one of the drivers, who is wonderful and also now part of our family This year we managed to time our visit with "Carnival", and got the hotel boat cruise/tour to view the carnival on day two....this was a great trip and day out but made even more special by watching Mark (The resort Managing Director) strut his stuff !!!! The watersport's team and the Spa staff are all great too as are most of the bar and restaurant staff....special mention to Marie in Jammers and Gloria in Dragonfly The fellow guests at Windjammer are always very pleasant too,....must be something about the relaxed pace of life in St Lucia, but this year we made friends with a very special family from Kent who we hope to keep in touch with and I know Emma will be looking out for this review !!!!!! So, overall another excellent holiday and an outstanding place and we look forward to seeing everyone again in a couple of years time

"Perfect destination for a dream wedding"

We have been the first time in St. Lucia and have chosen the Windjammer Landing for our wedding... and it could have not been better! The resort is beautiful situated in a private bay and consists of several villas sitting on a nice hill with great bay view. While traveling the island we have seen other resorts and we have been so happy that we decided for the Windjammer. Our wedding planner Melanie and Lynn really took good care of us. I felt special from the first time I got in contact with Melanie. It was very easy and lots of fun planning the wedding with her. She had great ideas, offers and suggestions. And moreover she took care of all the paper work, so we could really relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding and honeymoon. Everything turned out the way we talked about and was even better than expected. The bouquet and the decoration at the beach was just beautiful... my make-up and hair style which was done at the Spa was stunning... the ceremony was sweet and enchanting... the photos taken by Peter the professional photographer are amazing... the whole day was just perfect!!! For every couple who wants to get married in St. Lucia I really recommend this resort and the team of two wonderful ladies who make your wedding a perfect dream!

"Simply perfection"

Yesterday was our last day at the resort. We stayed in room 503. Our room was a 2 floor 2 bedroom, with a washer/dryer on a landing between the two. Balcony with a spectacular view was shared by the two bedrooms. Outside was a large covered patio/porch, that included a hammock, eating area, & sitting area. A few steps down was our pool. We literally could've stayed in the room the entire week & enjoyed ourselves. As for the rest of our experience, I'll start with the kid's club. Our 8 year old daughter has never spent time away from us on vacations, even though the option was available. She saw some children going one night, and asked if she could go. After just one night there, she had made quite a few friends. Next she refused to miss a night there! On the 25th, they arranged a surprise party for her Birthday, with gifts and all! Gale, Sharon, Macrina, & Kizzie are truly amazing people!!! We've never seen our daughter so comfortable so quickly with anyone before! Next was housekeeping; sweet, thorough, thoughtful, & extremely accommodating! Another fabulous set of staff! The front desk, also pleasant, helpful, and so accommodating! Everyone at Embers and/or serving on the beach was fantastic and so attentive! They work so very hard to make everyone's day a great one.The bartenders at Jammers were so awesome that they made up for the terrible wait staff (only complaint of the entire trip). Papa Don's & Upper Deck left us without a single disappointment; just perfect! Even the shuttle drivers, maintenance, & security had a smile for everyone every day and helped with anything we could ask for. We could not have asked for a better vacation and the staff at the resort is the reason why! We literally only left the resort once & we ended up coming right back. Great time!
