A most delightful departure from the hotel/motel impersonalization. Homey atmosphere (no tv or telephones exce[t in commons areas. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan set away from the hustle bustle of everyday life. The accomodations out of the 1890s and early 1900s. Extremely well kept and you feel at home as soon as you enter. We loved it.Thank you Michillinda personnel.

I had one night trip to go Silver lake and near. This hotel was just a right choice to stay. My kids enjoyed clean indoor pool a lot at night time was another benefit for choosing this hotel. The surrounding was quite quiet and easy to access highway and shopping center. It is a good place with family retreat. Overall, it was 3~3.5 star awesome hotel even though it was two star.

The area alone is very run down. My key wouldn't work very well in the door. ALL of the lights in the room didn't work! (that was ridiculous!) There obviously hadn't been anyone in the room for awhile, because there was dust everywhere and on everything. There was a few clumps of hair on the bathroom floor, and shower wall! And all the towels but one […] had stains all over them. Literally, if there is NO OTHER hotel to stay in, then rent a camp site. It would be better! Read more

The clerk that checked us in was very nice. She let us know about the breakfast in the morning. The bed didn't even have a fitted sheet on it! All it had was a regular sheet thrown over the mattress. The back of the motel, where our room was had old mattresses thrown out in the yard. Not a very nice site. The neighborhood was very scary. But for the […] price, we didn't expect much. We would never stay there again nor recommend it. The breakfast looked decent but we just grabbed a couple of muffins and danishes because we had to go. Read more

The hotel was a bit hard to find, once I found the hotel I had no problem with a late check in 10pm. The room was out dated but spacious 2 queen beds were pretty comfy, good size restroom, air condition worked great. Overall not bad at all considering a last minute booking.
