It was extremely noisy. You could hear every door shut and the person above us sounded like they were going to break through the ceiling everytime they walked. The pipes are very noisy (showers, toilets). The mattress was not comfortable at all. We stayed in a non-smoking room by yet the halls smelled like POT. Great surroundings for my children. Check-in was poorly done. First, although I had called about pet policy and had indicated we would bring 2 dogs, the clerk at check-in was unaware and did not seem to find note on our record. Then she gave us keys to room that turned out to be storage room. Then she went down the hall checking 3-4 more rooms to see where to put us (we assumed they were […] empty!). In the end, we got put into the room behind the breakfast room, so at 5:45 am each morning we heard cupboards opening and slamming shut as clerk set up breakfast. Walls were also super thin and space under doors meant lots of noise coming in that way also. Noisy, noisy, noisy. Never did figure out how to adjust heating, too. Overall, poorly done. The hotel was very clean. The service at the front desk was quick and professional. Too small for the roll up beds in the single queen room. Breakfast was satisfying. Being an older hotel the hallways and stairs made sleeping tough with the loudness of a high school group of girls talking and running up and down the stairs.

I stayed in the Moscow, ID super 8 for 4 days. When I opened my room the smell was bad. A no smoking room with some sort of spray to cover up the fact that it had been smoked in and I am not sure which was worse the smoke or the spray. I was on the second floor and left my window open the whole time (the traffic noise is not too bad). 90% of the time […] I could not get into my room without going and getting a new card b/c the card reader was a worthless. It would be one thing if it was only my room but everyone I talked to had the same problem. The staff were nice enough but it was clear that nothing was going to be done to fix the problem and that it had been occurring for a long time. Even with new cards you had to hold it just right and pray....5 to 7 tries on average will get you in. If you do decide the price is too good to pass up or there is nothing else available then keep in mind that there is no elevator so if you have a lot of stuff get a room on the first floor not the third. 5 times while taking a shower it went from hot to cool and two of the reasons I sellected the Super 8 was the price and they offered a saune, the saune was being taken out when I arrived so that was a disappointment also.

Have stayed at nicer places in Moscow, but in a small town, they fill up quick. Room was OK, the bath is real small, and the sink area is not the best. Beds were sagging in the middle. One night, there was no parking left in the lot.

The price of our room was not worth it. It appeared to be clean but It had a horrible urine smell. I wanted to complain and request to be moved to another one but my husband wouldnt let me. I was pleased that the coffee was prepared when we left at 5:30 am.

Our room was very comfortable, freshly painted and quiet! The breakfast was adequate and overall we were very pleased. Since it is only 35 miles from our home we wouldn't normally spend the night but we had a class reunion to attend so this was a good choice!

This hotel was the only one available in Moscow when I booked our one-night stay, and it was satisfactory for an overnight stay on the way to our destination. We arrived late and left early and it met our needs for a comfortable bed and a hot shower for the 8 hours we were there. Pluses include free wifi access and a minimal complimentary continental […] breakfast (although the room was small and crowded the morning we were there). Minuses include no elevator in a three-story motel (and our room of course was on the 3rd floor). The hotel is centrally located for both UI (walking distance) and WSU (8 miles). The room had a refrigerator. What a nice surprise: There is a working sauna -- located next to the breakfast room.

This is a pretty good Super 8 Motel. I have stayed before and was pleased. For the price and location I would stay again. Our room was a little smelly. I think it was from the refridgerator that had been unplugged. A candle and some frebreeze and all was fresh.

I had read reviews talking about how thin the walls were, so I was prepared for that. I didn't care for the black gunk in the windows, the fact that my sheets looked wrinkly, and it smelled like way too much room freshener was sprayed. It was okay for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn't stay more than 1 night.

Pros: The front desk attendant was very nice and she happily moved us when we asked (see below). The breakfast was good, yay for the waffle maker, and the common areas were clean. Cons: The noise is ridiculous. We started on the 2nd floor at the same time our upstairs "neighbors" did. We heard everything they opened/closed, every step they took, and […] about every third word they said even though they weren't doing any of these things loudly. After asking for a room change, were put on the top floor (3rd) we were very careful where we stepped ourselves because the floors squeaked so bad it even annoyed us. Also, the beds were OK but the pillows were very hard and very flat so we didn't sleep well. Had we not already paid for a second night ahead of time, we definitely would have changed hotels. The hotel is older but, it was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We liked it because it is within a block of out daughters apartment and walking distance to campus. We didn't spend a lot of time there,the bed was comfortable, sheets clean, shower hot and breakfast was ample. What more could you ask for at such a reasonable rate.

The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything going on in the hallways. The front desk called and woke me up at 11 PM to discuss something with my reservation that was simply a human error entry in their computer. In the morning, I had a COLD shower. I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 AM, after a seven hour car trip. When I drew back the sheets, I found them full of hair and dirt, with a visible impression where a body had lain. The floor and shower were also visibly dirty. It was obvious that the only maid service that had been done was to have the used beds made. I had hoped to sleep in until 10:30 […] when it was necessary to get up and shower by 11:00 check-out; but instead I had to call the desk clerk, who had already graciously changed the sheets for me, to request that housekeeping come up in the morning to clean the shower so that I could use it.
