Except for a previous customer's dirty socks (reason for the "1") that were left under the pull out sofa, the rooms were clean and as expected. Given that it was Fasnacht, the hotel offered a reasonable room at a reasonable cost and I was able to book only two nights instead of 3 or 4 as required at other Basel hotels. The hotel was convenient for driving with parking below and was close to tram and bus stops. The staff was not very helpful. My guess is that they were transplants from other regions and weren't informed about the city. In an effort to answer questions, they did nothing more than to read the copied printouts of information provided by the hotel.

Good location to explore Basel per pedes. Room rate adequate for location, but breakfast should be included - not SFR20 extra! Good and helpful staff. Recommend the hotel.

I still definitely stay at this hotel on each future trip to Basel. The service was outstanding! and the location could NOT have been any better. Wonderful staff. The beds were a bit hard, but it was the least of worries.

Lovely hotel. Enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival and sweets on the reception desk. Would have liked more mineral water in my room. My room was quite small but all the fittings were very modern and clean. City Tax of 3.50 CHF payable on arrival

Insgesamt angenehm. Es gibt am Eingang und auch zum Zimmer (trotz der Fahrstuhl) paar Treppen, die mit schweren Gepäck nicht so angenehm sind. Aussen irgendwo war laute Musik, die aber gegen 23h etwas besser wurde. Im Garten spielte eine Band Jazz Musik bis 21h. Freundliche Personal. Willkommen Drink. WLAN.

l'hotel est assez bien situe, et les transports en commun bien ammenages a Bale. Par contre, il y a tres peu de places de parking pour y garer un vehicule et il releve plus de la chance que de la probabilite de trouver unze place

Gutes Bett, renovierte Infrastruktur, sehr hellhörig, nahe an Hauptstrasse mit Autolärm die ganze Nacht. Wenn jemand 2 Etagen oberhalb duscht, glaubt man, dass jemand die Dusche im eigenen Zimmer benutzt.

Das Hotel liegt günstig unweit der Innenstadt. Sehr guter Service mit freundichem Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Ein gutes Frühstück, das in Schweizer Hotels oft nicht inklusiv ist.
