I went to Seoul for a weekend trip with my girlfriend and stayed in hotel Riviera. The hotel was nice inside with many restaurants and sauna/pool facilities and staff were helpful: we were helped by the concierge desk on finding our way and picking restaurants. Our room was nice size but a bit cumbersome with an uncomfortable bed and slightly strange furniture arrangement with a desk in the middle of the floor. the hotel location wasn't ideal with a half an hour train journey to most of the sights we wanted to see. Although travelling using the underground was easy and very cost efficient, i'd recommend staying somewhere north of the river for easier access to sightseeing spots.

The stay was overall good. The hotel is very nice and clean. We weren't really expecting the hotel to be this great. Check-in and check-out was very quick. The staff was very helpful. As far as the rooms, we had 3 beds in our room and were only expecting 2 which was a plus, because we each had our own bed. The only issue is, the beds were very hard, and the lighting wasn't very good. The bread shop downstairs was very nice as well as the sky lounge(very comfortable). We did order room service and it arrived very quickly. The location was also decent. The COEX Mall is just a few blocks down as well as the subway stations. Cabs aren't too expensive either. This stay was overall better than expected and I would recommend this hotel for other visitors.

The Hotel was nicely furnished and in a good area. I had alot of problems communicating with staff as very little english spoken. Had a major problem with Room Temp as the hotel had not turned on the air conditioning and still had the controls set to heat for the entire hotel. They did provide me with a plug in fan to try and help cool the room down.

I stayed for a week. Check-in took less than ONE minute. Very clean room with flat screen TV, and great view of the Han River. Located within a short walking distance to a Subway station. The hotel offers free shuttle bus rides to the Coex Mall. The breakfast was excellent, high quality, and very rich. Enjoyed very fine Japanese and Chinese meals at the Oriental Restaurant. The staff was very polite, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended hotel.

This is no way a 4-star hotel. When I first arrived they lost my reservation and I had to wait around until they could find more information about it. After checking into my room, I realized the room was definately not a 4-star hotel. The bathroom door had a frosted glass window, meaning you could pretty much see straight into the bathroom. They also charge $16+/day (more than any other hotel i've been to) for internet. We tried going down into the business center downstairs but they charge about 50cents/minute. For Korea being one of the top internet gaming cities, I wouldn't expect them to charge so much. Overall, I was dissatisfied when it came to my hotel but would expected less if it was listed as a 3.5 star hotel.
