In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don’t miss the futuristic main library. Seattle’s twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at the W. In our reservation, I paid an upgraded price to have a room on a high floor and 2 beds. We were put on the 7th Floor(very low) and there was one bed in room. Walls were marred with black scuff marks, greasy handprints on back of door and closet.

I really don't have anything negative to say about The W except for the internet pricing. $15/24hr, person in your room with laptops. My example, I was there with a coworker and we both had our laptops. I had to pay $30 each day for both of us to have internet connection!!! I called the front desk to ask for a waive of the second charge, and they would not do so. I felt a little let down with there lack of 'care' to my concern. Never the less, it is a nice hotel.

This isn't a place my husband and I would stay again but I'd say it's because we're not their target audience. It's a very modern style hotel, very dark hallways, noisy (music) lobby and overpriced restaurant ($45 for breakfast was crazy and the french toast was very odd tasting). Yes it was clean and the room was a good size, but it just didn't suit us. The location was great for walking but there are plenty others to choose from in the same general location.

The W is a very modern, hip hotel with a happening lobby. Staff are courteous and responsive. Our major complaint was that there was no breakfast, and the hotel restaurant charged too much. A minor complaint is that the hip atmosphere made the hotel corridors awfully dark for us senior citizen types.

Stayed for two nights. My only complaint is the service was a little lacking. WHen we drove up, no one greeted us at the garage "wheels" to help us unload and valet the car. Considering they charge over $35 per day to park, I expected some assistance. We had to track down the guy to help us. Also, at the front desk, staff was pleasant once engaged but had to ask them to refill coffee in lobby in a.m. and refill cream after coffee was filled. A little more attention to detail is needed at a hotel of this caliber. Absolutley LOVED my room.

The room was clean, king size bed and pillows very comfortable. I enjoyed the flat screen TV; Although not overly excited about the view of a parking lot garage and roof top. The room was also very noisy, I was just there for one night to relax before my flight out, either the furnace or airconditioning unit was on all night from adjacent rooms,I would think it was the one in mine, but not.

My husband and I stayed one night in Seattle at the W on our way to Victoria. For starters, the young lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant to deal with. The room was super comfortable and had a luxury feel to it. Also great beds, well equipped bathrooms and it was very quiet. Made for great sleeping. In the morning we enjoyed the coffee they provide in the lobby and the great atmosphere for lounging or reading the paper. We also loved the location...walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Found a great deal on hotels.com and would definitely recommend to friends. Very enjoyable stay!!

This hotel is quite modern, clean and has excellent staff. However, some of their pricing is outrageous. I was looking at the room service menu for laughs, not food! For example, a bowl of oatmeal is $14, and I paid $40 for valet parking. The hallways are dimly lit for ambiance, but this makes it difficult to see where you're going! Overall, this is the type of hotel to stay at where money is no object.
