"Certainly one of the best hotels in Hyannis"
Booked a 3 night stay here recently w/ a certain amount of trepidation due to some of the reviews i had read on line. However, i found most of those reviews to be inaccurate or at the very least, mostly complaints about off season stays. We stayed a few days prior to the 4th of July & really had an excellent time. The only true negative is a fifteen […] dollar charge per night to park your car; they have plenty of space & that's really an unfair charge but overall it's a minor complaint. Take a quick walk around town & you will see for yourself that at least visually, this is probably the nicest hotel in Hyannis. The room was very clean and quite spacious, the staff and some of the guests we met were very friendly and it's literally right across the street from ferries which can take you to Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Another small issue (has nothing to really do w/ the hotel though) is that the Ferries sometimes load up their inventory late at night and it can get a bit loud & obnoxious, but it comes and goes fairly quickly. There are really plenty of great restaurants nearby (The Black Cat is really excellent & for casual dining & an outstanding Lobster Roll go to Spanky's; both w/in min of walking distance) & Main St. is also a short walk away. Overall, a great experience and much of it had to do with the Hyannis Harbor Hotel. We only wished we could have stayed longer ! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel has an excellent location. I recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The cleanliness of the room was a pleasant surprise, I enjoyed how light and bright it was. We were able to walk around the harbor and watch the fishing boats coming in with clams, and the ferries going out. There was a fun cafe on the harbor by the ferry. Really nice location. Lots of parking in the lot. Stayed four days and would love to come aga […] in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel. View of marina."
Parked the car for 4 dates and walked everywhere. Very relaxing. One downside was the outdoor bar by pool could have has an awning to avoid sun.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient but you get what you pay for"
This place is decent enough, but the service isn't the best. They tried to overcharge for parking and they could use a lesson in customer service. The hotel itself is also super loud and you can hear everything. The location is great though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Hotel in central location."
Nice to be in walking distance to most things the area had to offer.Genuine Expedia guest review
I'm recommending this hotel for many reasons. It's conveniently located near the ferry, and a short walk to Hyannis business district. We found the staff to be great and the hotel amenities better than expected.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, family friendly atmosphere"
Stayed in one bedroom unit with low ceiling and tight quarters. AC was inadequate and would not remove the humidity from the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
Made my reservation last minute... 2 hrs before check in. When I arrived at the hotel it look as good as it looked on the hotels app. The front desk was courteous and the room was clean no complaints from me hereGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Seems like this hotel is the midst of improvement and modernization. The lobby and pool look nice. However, our room was unacceptable. It was above a noisy laundry room, next to an exit door that wasn't lockable (major security issue). The curtains did not cover the windows, and the room smelled stale/moldy. Worst of all, there were blood stains on […] both the bathroom and the entrance door way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
it was good but that there was a problem with my room i thought i booked a king size bed and the receptionist said i booked a queen and they where all booked out of king size bed room so i could not even up grade my room very disappointed other than that it was ok i do recommend that the hotel up grade decking material to a TREX decking instead of that […] splintered pressure treated wood and upgrade all trim to a composite trim like AZEK so that you will never have maintenance and improve over all appearance replace cedar shingles with vinyl cedar impressions send some money but save of all future maintenance cost (paint replace rotted trim, decking broads, shingles believe me i am a contractor and you will have a much APPEALING HOTEL attract a lot more guest. ps need more ice machines and in different areas of the hotel noir just in pool area thank you for you time. "Great Location and Quality for the Price!"
We stayed for two days and were very satisfied with our accommodations. The hotel's harbor-side location is fabulous- a quick walk to cafes and restaurants and a beautiful view of the marina. The rooms were clean and décor was adequate- some furniture and linens had been recently upgraded while bathroom fixtures were somewhat dated but overall it was […] pleasant and well priced for the area. The only negative I experienced was a marginally inhospitable check in but as the front desk was mobbed and short staffed at the time I arrived, I chalked it up to catching an overwhelmed employee at an off moment. Overall, I would recommend with confidence! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good room for overnight stay"
Room was clean and mechanicals were all in working order. Breakfast buffet was okay, but a bit expensive for scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, and potatoes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hyannis Harbor Hotel"
Decent hotel for price, however did not get room requested (Queen bed instead of King) and hotel only have "Deluxe" rooms, and no standard rooms, so do not expect anything overly nice...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"BEWARE Be prepaired to pay for parking"
The fact that parking was available was a good thing. But the fact that you had to pay additional 15.00 for it did not make me happy. In the small print in your add it did mention parking is extra but I never noticed it or would not have stayed there. When I told the reception girl I wasn't happy about it and asked to speak to the manager. The response […] was he's not here, and that is the way it is.... This was a lesson for me to learn to read the fine print. The parking fee was 15.00. Not much but it no longer makes this hotel a value place to stay Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Good value. Next to the Harbor, 10min walk to Main Street, Indoor/Outdoor pool onsite and a hot tub.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient place to stay in Hyannis"
This hotel was convenient but not quite as close to the main area of town as they would have you believe. It is, however, within walking distance to the ferries (directly across the street) and a few restaurants. There is a great coffee and pastry shop directly across the street where you can get a quick, inexpensive breakfast.Parking is convenient, […] although expensive at $15.00 extra per day. The room was large. While some may enjoy the type of beds, they were not to our liking as they are VERY high and VERY soft with VERY DEEP pillow tops! All-in-all, not quite as nice as we had expected but a decent place to stay overall. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great for a night or two"
Friends and I crashed here the night before we took the ferry to Nantucket. Perfect for what we needed. This isn't a luxurious spot by any means but if you're looking for clean, basics, it's perfect!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Simply lovely stay"
Great room, comfy beds, very clean! Lots of area to discover within walking distance. We walked to Main Street, the wharf, and the beach. We will seek out this hotel when we are in the area again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was not a king but a double, in a tiny room. Deck was a small bonus, but not private.Genuine Expedia guest review
Upon checking out they inform me I have a balance , they charge $15 per day to park your car In the parking lot. Never Hurd of such a thing. Paying to have your car park on their lot. So bewareGenuine Expedia guest review
The Hotel is at a great location and the view from the front entrance is impressive - if you are not guaranteed a room on the outside pool side (the front) all other rooms have a parking lot or back of the building location - nothing attractive... disappointing. Room service is slow and and not very efficient. Had a higher expectation.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed here overnight on our way to Nantucket. We were happy with the staff and location. It was close to the ferry and convenient to town and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Really enjoyed this hotel. The bed was super comfy. Hotel Room was really clean. Pool was nice and loved the night time fire. My only complaint would be on their website it says free ferry parking for guess...no no no...whether you use the ferry or not there is a 15 dollar fee. When I went to check out I was not happy to hear about this last minute […] expense. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, nice outdoor area, pay to park!"
The hotel is located in a great location with a short ten minute walk to the beach. Room was nice overall, though the walls could use a coat of paint and some cracks in the walls need fixed. Pool area is definitely nice and there is a large chess board to play with on the lawn. The only surprise was it costs $15 per day (NOT per 24 hour period) to park […] at the hotel (and there is no other parking near by) so just plan on $30 being added to your bill for a one night stay (because they count that as "two days"). "You get what you paid for..."
The location is great if you're planning to hop on the ferry to the islands, right across the street is the pier. Some great resturants close by for dinner. Rooms were outdated, bathroom was small. The bed was new and felt great. Customer service was great, we got an early check in.Overall it was a 3 star.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was perfect for what we wanted, an inexpensive getaway close to shops and restaurants. It was walking distance to it all. The room was clean and confortable. We had a good location, tucked in a little hallway. I could see it getting loud on the deck with luggage wheels and people but we didn't get that. Also the back of the hotel was not very […] attractive facing the parking lot but we were out towards the pool. The pool was beautiful and the patio with the fire pit was very nice. I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great rooms, no concierge"
Right by ferries, great restaurants, Black Cat outdoor patio right next door. Great rooms, poorly trained front desk staff. There were dozens of fun things to do all over the harbor, but staff had no clue and was provided no list by mgt. We wasted so much time figuring it out by ourselves.Genuine Expedia guest review
I really liked the convenience of being directly across the street fr the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, my final destination .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were catching the ferry to Nantucket, so couldn't have asked for a better location. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. When he found out we were celebrating our 36th anniversary he switched us to a harborview room. Price was the same, but the intent was generous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but a few small issues"
The hotel was nice, close to the harbor. Staff was friendly. Had to pay an extra $15 plus tax a day for parking which was absolutely ridiculous. Also, wanted to go swimming in the indoor pool (too cold to swim outside), but it was locked and you had to have staff unlock it and stand there while you swam which was very weird and creepy so we didn't get […] to swim. The outdoor pool, while heated, was right up against the restaurant and bar so everyone was watching you if you went swimming. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I requested one king bed and was given two queens. The room when walking into smelled of wet dirty towels.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Look beyond the front desk"
The front of the hotel seems decent. That's until you drive around to the very rear of the "motel" and climb the damp stairs to your room. Needs some serious updating.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Unexpected quality hotel for a budget price"
While on a 2 week road trip up the east coast we stayed in a different hotel every night. Our agenda wasn't set and since it was off swason we didn't make a lot or reservations. While on Cape Cod I read a lot of Expedia reviews and decided on the Hyannis Harbor Hotel, based mainly on price and good reviews. This hotel turned out to be my favorite of […] the whole trip! I liked it lots better than the Hilton we stayed at in Boston. While the Hyannis Harbor Hotel is an older hotel, it was clean and our room was very nice. It was convenient to just about everything and just across the street from the Nantucket ferry. I highly recommend this hotel and we will return on our next trip. "Not very happy"
When I opened the door of my room I felt like I was in Europe ... very small room, and bath. It was cold, so I had to turn the heat on ... it took about 4 hours before i could feel something ... The power strip where all the coffee machine and TV where plugged in was off and I had to move everything to turn it on. Not very happy with it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pig With Lipstick, Nicely Applied"
The Hyannis Harbor is a good example -- I actually say this admiringly -- of putting lipstick on a pig. An old, tired 1960s roadside motel has been heavily facelifted, painted neutral beige, and supplied with a new restaurant and reception area, so now, from the outside, you can almost forget its ghastly architectural origins. The rooms give things […] away a bit. They're clean enough, and the mattresses work, but the ceilings are low, the floors sag, the bathrooms are small, the water gurgles in the pipes, the doors bang, and everything opens directly in a U shape to what used to be the parking lot (now a swimming pool and small bar area). Not a place you'd want to stay too long. Still, you're directly across from the Hy-Line Ferry Terminal, and for a late-night arrival before an early-morning boat, the convenience can't be beat. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location was very good, walking distance to restaurants and the ferry to Nantucket. Our room faced the street which was a bit noisy at times, although quiet at night, however we weren't there during high season. There wasn't always adequate hot water for our showers in the morning. Room was clean. We didn't […] use the pool so I can't comment on that. Overall, I would stay here again although I would request a room away from the main road. "Great location-smelly rooms"
Can't say enough about the location of this hotel, on the water and close to everything that downtown Hyannis has to offer. Restaurants right near by, and plenty of activities. Now, we went during what is still called the offseason, and the room smelled like it hasn't been used since the fall. Our friends had the same issue. Other than the musty smell, […] the room was nicely renovated. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Location, location, right across the marina!! The lobby is beautiful, you go in, and you already like the place. The receptionist was wonderful, pleasant, nice smile.
