Clarion Inn Fremont - Fremont

The Clairon Fremont is a wonderful hotel and it is very reasonably priced. The hotel is right across the street from the Fremont Mall and a Village Inn Restaraunt. You could easily walk to the mall and restaurant from the hotel. The hotel itself has the charm of a hunting lodge. There are a lot of wood accents and decor that make it look like a hunting […] lodge. There is even a stuffed bear in the lobby. The pool is nice and relaxing. This hotel uses Ozone to clean it's pool and spa so they don't have chlorine which irritates the eyes. I was able to swim in the pool for an hour and my eyes never got irritated. The Sunday morning manager was unprofessional and very rude. Do to whether we stayed another night in fremont but not at your hotel. Me and 7 other families took our bussiness else where sorry for your loss of future bussiness.

It was very good. I would recommend it, and will plan on staying there next trip through. Staff was excellent, and helpful. The roomss were clean, the bathrooms had the expected shampoo and conditioner. They had a nice indoor poll and excersise room. Overall I was very pleased.

The bedding was disgusting. It had stains all over it. And they need to do some upgrading at this motel. Get some better air circulation, very stuffy.We will never stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for what appeared to be a semi-decent hotel based on the pictures and ratings. Check in was quick, but although I requested joining rooms we were not accomdated, we would have had to been in a different area of the hotel from where our kids were. We took the closer room and assuming the rooms were the same (they weren't) we settled […] in for the night around 12:30 a.m. In our room, the bed was hard and a gap from the headboard to the mattress was so big I had to stuff pillows in the gaps to keep my twins from falling between the walls and mattress. When requesting another room because of the mattress and exposed AC wires they wanted to put us far from where my kids room was at- we stayed put. We really enjoyed this motel. The rates and employess were awesome. I will admit we were a little nervouse when we walked in as the halls had a smoke smell. But the rooms did not. So it al lworked out. We will be back if coming to Fremont. Thanks

I am a seasoned traveler and needed a reasonably priced room (this hotel came in at half the nightly rate of the local holiday inn express). We needed two rooms instead of one and upon arrival the afternoon clerk had no problem in making this happen. The rooms were fine, the beds slept well and were comfortable. Overall it was a good experiece and this hotel has gotten better since Clarion bought it. Check in was fast and easy. The room was nice, but found a pizza crust on the floor by the garbage can that had been left by someone else. The beds are very comfortable with 4 full sized pillows each. The shower has good pressure, but is low so tall people (husband […] is 5'10'') will have to duck to rinse their hair. Pool is warm, hot tub could be warmer. There are almost never pool towels. We called and were told that none were available. Apparently the hotel has a limited number of towels and once they are out, that is it, so bring a towel from your room. No good way to dry swimsuits - no drying line and the shower rod is curved so you have to put towels on the floor to catch the drips. Breakfast includes hot foods and waffles, but it is not replenished often. Even with staff cleaning tables, I had to ask for more scrambled eggs and in the 3 days we were there, the breakfast area was out of English muffins, cream cheese, cups for the waffle batter, coffee creamer, and other odds and ends and the staff working in the breakfast area don't ever seem to look. The coffee is very weak, but there is a Starbucks in the Hyvee at the adjacent strip mall, so that worked out ok for us. Clarion is, in my opinion, the nicest place in Fremont aside from the Holiday Inn Express, but the HI Express is significantly more expensive so this is a good middle ground. Read more
