      This was a very nice off season stay heading home from downstate. A little delay checking in due to a rash of phone calls occupying the desk staff but very polite after. Room was good and restaurants nearby.

      Although we arrived very late and left very early, the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold food. I wish we had more time to enjoy what the hotel had to offer and would definitely return again.

    The rooms were nice and clean. We stayed in a garden view room that was perfect for lounging on the patio watching the rabbits in the garden. The location... was great and the fact that we could rent bikes was very convenient for us. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was good. All in all , a great place to stay!     There was about an addition $30.00 dollars on my bill beyond the posted rate. These were local taxes and other fees. Normally these fees are only a few dollars, but here they were excessive. I didn't appreciate the surprise, and I don't think that the online service was up front with what those fees would be. The hotel had a copy of my reservation from […] hotel.com with the room rate and all fees included, but none of that information showed up on any documentation I was given when making the reservation.     We had a wonderful time on Mackinac and truly enjoyed our stay at the Harbourview Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the relaxed attitude was just what we were looking for. The location is ideal...close enough to town so that it's just a couple of minute walk, yet far enough out to be peaceful and quiet.

    My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the harbour view inn it had to be the cleanest place we have ever stayed in, the location was awesome not quite in town but very close. We especially liked the caretaker Nancy who took care of the breakfast which was very good for continental. I can't say anything negative about our stay except it could use an […] elevator, the third floor had ac which we were on and the view was magnificant. I would reccomend this b&b to anyone but be prepared to walk up stairs. I may book the top floor next year and take our grown children. P.S. I needed the exercize anyway. Read more

    We always stay here and loved it just as much this time. They have bike rentals right there, love the location, on the main street but far enough down to not have all the busy traffic. Hotel staff was so accomodating, breakfast was good, something for everyone.

    I was less than impressed upon arrival at the Harbor View Inn Hotel. Lack of assistance from the docks with baggage, no mini fridge in room, NO AIR CONDITIONING ( Even Though it says A/C in rooms on the hotels webpage), small cramped rooms ( this wasn't a big deal... but still.)     I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed at the Harbour View Inn for two nights in June. The room was very nice (in the Guest House behind the main building--garden view room), the breakfast was good, and the staff was very helpful. The luggage service to and from the ferry was great, and unexpected. And the lilacs were still in bloom. Only downside--awful […] weather, very cold and raining most of the time.     Just an outstanding charming place with great staff. Best location on the island-On the water and close to everything, but still just outside louder busier downtown.

    I spent two nights in this hotel. It is in a quiet area of the Island a little outside the bustle but within walking distance of everything. The map location in hotels.com is not correct, it is by the side of the St. Anne church. The hotel consists of 3 buildings (main, coachhouse and guesthouse) in addition to a sepsarate B&B with the same name - which […] from the oputside looks somewhat run down. It is not possible to connect to the front desk/breakfast area without going outdoors if you are in the "coachhouse" or "guesthouse", which is a problem if it is raining. The gardens are beautifully miantained. My room was ample, clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view of the lake, however it was in the 3rd building, way up the hill. The only complain was that the shower lacked water pressure (maybe because we were in the 4 floor of the farther up building. Although I was treated nicely by the hotel staff I saw front desk personnel talking condescendingly to guests in two occassions. Breakfast was basic. It was mostly a positive experience, so I woudl recommend the place. Read more

    It was wonderful! I surprised my mom with a 3 day trip for her 76 birthday. It has been a dream of hers to go to the grand hotel. I definitely would stay at Harbor view inn again. Staff was wonderful and very helpful.
