We were in this hotel on way back to Europe for one night. Very convenient transport from the airport to the hotel was included in the rate, on the way back a smal fare was billed. NIce pool on the 22nd floor, to relax before traveling further. The Breakfastbuffet was a normal standard all was o.k. Allover a good location closed to GRU airport.

I was in transit thru Sao Paulo and needed a hotel in the airport area for an overnight layover. This worked out fine other. The airport shuttle runs once an hour so you can have a bit of a wait at the airport to catch it. (Note, the ride from the airport is complementary, but back to the airport is $7R. )

It depends on what you want to see, the neighborhood is not very nice but it has a nice park just in front of the hotel. Your views from the room could be very dissapointind dependinh how you look at it. The far view is beautiful, you can see the skyline of the city, the immediate surroundings areugly and sad. The hotel itself is excellent, the service […] and the quality is wonderful, so if you need to stay one or two nights just because the proximity to the airport, this is a great option, but if you just want to visit the are, this might not be a good idea. 1. Dreadful noise each night at 3 am. 50 PLUS gather outside hotel with LOUDSPEAKERS blaring. Management called police. Police reported that Guarulhos City has no noise ordinance- THUS no stopping it 2. Extremely expensive restaurant fitted out like a school or I imagine prison eatery. Very friendly staff and the room was similar to a Junior Executive Suite. I was pleasantly surprised. Location is a bit far from airport and they charge for the van. Would I stay again? YES!

I arrived at 2am after a long flight and my flight the next day departed at 11am. Good points about the hotel include the value compared to other airport hotels in the area, fast free internet, efficient and courteous staff and fast check-in. The rooms are big with a sitting area, bed area and 'kitchen' which includes a microwave and hob. I'm not sure […] if anyone ever cooks? The rooms are a little tired but still ok. The downside is that it is quite far from the airport and the shuttle bus only runs hourly. I got a taxi which cost Reals45 which should be factored into the overall price. Hotel was very good for the price. Should state somewhere that they have a shuttle service to the airport. This could have saved me a lot of money from the cab I took. The restaurant was closed and breakfast was incredible expensive. The van from the airport was free, but the return was NOT! This is not what one usually understand by 'free transportation'.To make things worse, the front desk stole my credit card. How can I make this statement ? Easy! I payed with my american express at 7 AM, and sat 2 feet from the […] front desk while waiting for the van to the airport. Around 7:15 AM, I was putting my things in order, and I could not find my credit card. There was noone else in the lobby during that whole time. I asked the front desk to see if they had returned it to me. They spoke no english, seemed to look around for 30 seconds, and say that no, they did not have it. The person who took my payment had finished his shift already. Within 1 hour, I received email from my credit card company about suspicious charges, one for gas and one for food within 3 blocks of the hotel. Read more

The hotel was a bit dated but it was perfect for an overnight layover at GRU. Make sure you take the free shuttle bus that runs on the hour as they promote the one that runs half pas which costs R7.

There are better options and closer to Guarulhos airport if you are looking for that convenience. There are not good restaurants in the neighborhood and the staff only speaks Portuguese (not even Spanish). If you only need to spend the night there to catch a read eye flight, then you would be OK.

Though it s called Aeroporto, look at the address and you would find it s in Centro. It doesn't mean anything if you take their airport shuttle (in case you don't miss it), unfortunately I cannot catch one and had waited for more than 1 hour and it would cost you B$40 for a taxi to go there. I advise you to call at the hotel to make the reservation […] or at least the hotel could let the shuttle driver know there is some clients at outside the terminal. My experience is, I already waited at the area near the Area D at 10:50, expecting the shuttle come at 11:00, but the damx car didn't show up and whilst the hotel page didn't mention when is the last shuttle. I kept waiting until 12:15 and ended up paying another R$40 just for a 12 minutes drive. The damx thing is the waste of my time waiting and why couldn't the hotel simply indicate the schedule in the homepage?? I had complainted the issue to the reception staff and couldn't get a good answer as expected. Read more

An excellent hotel for speedy access to the airport. Not recommended for a long stay as there are very few facilities in the area and it is a distance from the town. My husband and I spent 2 nights here in October 2010. Our flight was at 7.10am and we took the hotel shuttle at 5.30 am. We ate next door at the Ibis and found it adequate. A infra-estrutura do hotel é boa. Faltou um pouco de "bom atendimento" por parte dos funcionários. Por exemplo cheguei e ninguém veio ajudar a tirar as malas do carro, levar as malas até o quarto, etc. Enfim, nenhum problema mas faltou qualificação profissional no atendimento. Do resto tudo normal.

Ficamos no hotel depois de procurar por muitos por causa da localização, já que no dia seguinte no final da tarde iríamos para o aeroporto. A internet não estava funcionando, o telefone pra falar com a recepção não estava funcionando, o quarto estava com cheiro de cigaro, apesar de termos pedido quarto de não fumante, chegamos com as malas e ninguém […] nos ajudou a carregar as malas.
