"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

Wall Street comes to life before dawn as traders rush to Lower Manhattan to make and break deals. But finance is just one aspect of Lower Manhattan, where colonial churches stand next to skyscrapers. Within the district, rebuilding continues at Ground Zero. At Battery Park, ferries depart for Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, America’s beacon of freedom.
see all hotels in New York"quiet but near Metro"
This is my second time at Hampton at that location Still just as clean and smells so good Great pillow top duvet Pretty good breakfast as part of stay is a savings for me Close to some shops and eateries but close enough to the Metro to take the train to other spots Would definately stay there again
"Wonderful location"
We would definitely stay here again as well as recommend the hotel to others.

"a great place to stay especially for families"
great hotel, excellent service and family friendly... very close to downtown new york...
"Close to wall street"
I loved my stay at the Hampton Inn. Although the room was a lot smaller than I anticipated, it wasnt so small to put a damper on my trip. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area. They knew all the tricks of getting around NYC on a budget. The breakfast was outstanding. And coffee and tea were available 24/7 which was great. All […] in all I have found my preferred hotel for all my future NYC visits. Read more
"Not bad but be careful of ..."
The 100 level suites which are located behind the lobby or in the basement. And the 200 level front suites which are located above a bus stop that runs all night. Otherwise it's a typical NY very small hotel. Comfort low because of the street noise.

"Great Place to Stay"
I went there this past weekend for my birthday with 3 other friends and it was a great choice. Staff was friendly and it was very close to everything we wanted to go to.
"Hampton Inn on Pearl St.in Lower Manhatten"
The staff at the Hampton Inn was extremely nice and very helpful. Larry recommended a restaurant that was walking distant from the hotel and it was wonderful!! Location is only 2 blocks front Pace University. Will definitely be back.
"A great value!"
This property is much less expensive than Midtown hotels, but still in a great location, within easy walking distance of Battery Park, the ferries to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and the 9/11 Memorial. The front desk staff was absolutely fabulous! I can't say enough about how helpful and pleasant they were. The free breakfast includes omelets […] and sausage, and is a terrific benefit. There's not a lot of shopping in the immediate vicinity, and that was fine with us. Having stayed at a Midtown hotel on another occasion for twice the price, I would definitely recommend this hotel instead for people who just want a comfortable place to rest from the day's activities. It's a great value. Read more
"hampton in South Sea Port Manhatten"
Beds were good. Room was clean and pleasant. Very quiet. we never heard others in adjacent rooms. We enjoyed out stay and the desk clerks were especially kind and helpful with tasks like printing airline boarding passes. Small complaints: two people shared the room and found not enough surfaces for unpacking and placing unpacked items where convenient. […] no bureau. no frig. only one luggage rack. We piled all papers, maps, food itesm, and such on one very small desk - we'd have preferred separate spaces for our things. The keys were constantly losing ability to open the door. Decaf coffee in breakfast area was not hot. Breakfast tho, was great - abundant choices including fresh fruit. Read more

"Close to all downtown must see sights and good eat"
The staff at the Hampton INN on Peal Street were all quite pleasant and helpful. The space in the dining area is tight so think about taking breakfast back to your room. The room and bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Close to all the best downtown must see sights and plenty of great resturants within waking distance including ChinaTown […] and Little Italy. What more can you want for very affordable rate a night for two people including a hot full breakfast ! Read more

"The location but mostly the friendly staff."
On a scale of 1 - 10, I will give it an 11. My room was so clean, I really liked that. The staff always greeted my wife & me with a smile, and was willing to spend time helping us, ex. Directions, etc.
"Hampton Inn Manhattan - Close to Seaport"
I would absolutely stay here again. Everything was clean and the staff was more than friendly. Very close to South Seaport and financial distance. Parking in the same block. I highly recommend it.
"The Hampton"

Wonderful front desk help. They went above and beyond! I will stay there again!
"great"
We loved the location, great staff, they set my little guys up with hot cocoa and Charlie brown on the Tv in the lobby after our cold day in the city before the holidays. We really had a great time and loved this Hampson! Thank you!
"Very nice and modern under the Brooklyn Bridge."
The very best rate and value for a hotel with breakfast and wi-fi on Manhattan. The only bad thing is, it is pretty much overbooked all the time.

"hospitality"
Very good breakfast . The beygels are deliceous. The receptionist on duty (I think his name is Larry) took me on a short walk round the hotel - I arrived very late, pinpointing the historical places in the area. Wifi in room very convenient. Location ideal to visit Financial District, inc. the historical area, Liberty and Ellis Islands.
"Clean and comfortable"
The rooms were clean and fairly spacious for the city. We just happened to get a room on the first floor which was fine at night, but you could hear everything from 7 am on. Just insist on a room on the second floor or above.
"Hampton Inn, Pearl St, NYC"
Comfy room, friendly, but professional staff, nice complimentary breakfast!
"Hotel in Financial District"
Fantastic Hotel. Stayed Dec. 29 with my son. Very clean, bed was wonderfully soft. Breakfast was good for him as well.
"not quite a 5"
I didn't give this hotel 5 stars because some of the staff tended to be rude in a sarcastic way at times.
"Hampton Inn - New York - EXCELLENT"
I highly recommend the Hampton Inn at seaport. It was a excellent location at a great price. The hotel staff was very nice and always available. You are greeted with warm cookies and a smile every time you walk in the door. It is walking distance to the seaport, subway station, WTC 9/11 Memorial, Financial District, Battery Park, and many other sites. […] The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The continential breakfast was average and had plenty of food to choose from. Read more
This hotel great value for money! Small dining area for breakfast during peak time we had to take it back to our room, which really wasn't a big deal. My only complaint was we were in room 105, which was basically in the lobby and next to the elevator. First night was fine, second night the night person had the tv so loud at first I thought it was […] my friend watching tv in our. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were credited one night so i would definitely stay there again. Read more

"Close to the subway, shops and restaurants"
The beds were comfortable...the breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay here again.
"Reasonable price for the location"
Familiar Hampton Inn trappings but a little smaller than I'm used to. I chalk this up to everything in NYC being smaller and more cramped. The room was still large enough to be comfortable and there's so much to do in the city that we didn't spend much time there anyways. The Con: It's a big one, the walls are paper thin. If the room next to you has […] 3 bubble heads and their boyfriends who stay up until 4am laughing, yelling, slamming doors, and discussing whether or not to steal the shampoo then you're going to be up until 4am too. Ear plugs cover most of that, but the slamming doors will come though loud and clear. Once they check out and the older couple with the small dog check in you'll learn that the dog has separation issues and howls every time they leave. At least this family goes to bed at 10pm and the dog happily snoozes quietly along side them. Read more
"Highly Recommend"

"Hampton Inn NYC Financial District"
For the price this was a nice little hotel. Breakfast buffet was a little crowded but there was plenty of food. Hotel was 3 or 4 blocks from the Fulton Street subway station. We walked to the pier and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge from the hotel so location was good.
Hotel very clean, nice people and close to all the must see sights

The room was nice and clean and the hotel staff was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Close to sights. very nice location. Clean. friendly staff. Pre-paid for a two bed room, but when we got there they only had a one bed room and a folding cot. there was not enough room to heve the cot down and walk across the room. Very inconvenient. Manager was very competent at resolving the situation.

great hotel for the price location ok had to travel by cab metro or on foot but alot to do around hotel would stay again
The Hampton Inn was very clean and a convenient location. I was especially impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was. The breakfast was great and rooms were very comfortable. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone!
"Club Quarters- wall st"
Great location. Customer service was really top shelf. I would stay there again.
"Hampton by the Seaport"
My wife and I flew into NY from Phoenix to attend the Kidney Walk, Sunday 10/16/11, starting at South Street Seaport. So very convenient for us, and our purpose there. I'm originally from NY so we knew our way around. The room was small, but not uncomfortable. It had exactly what we needed. A clean comfortable bed, clean PRIVATE bathroom, AC. The room […] was modern, with white sheets and comforter, flat screen tv, and nice bathroom with no stains. My only complaint if I had to make one......NO view. We had a brick wall. CLASSIC NY!. But hey, you want views? Go out and explore!!!!! The hotel its self is almost at the most southern tip of Manhattan. A very short walk, maybe a 1/4 mile or less, to the seaport ( a tourist attraction for picture taking and a little NY history), and if you walk a little further you'll be at the Staten Island Ferry, Battery Park (for the ferry to, both, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island), and in the area of the Financial District , World Trade Center and City Hall a little north. North of the hotel is China Town and Little Italy. The Hotel is about 3 short blocks from the #6, 5, and 4 train's "Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall" station. The north bound M15 bus stops DIRECTLY in front of the hotel. You can take it up to midtown, via 1st ave, for a lot of the other major sights, if you want to remain above ground. Read more
Excellent stay, personnel also excellent and very polite. Great room and was very clean.
"Great Financial District Location near Brooklyn Br"
Enjoyed a great view from our room at night of the new Freedom Tower being built at Ground Zero. In the daytime, loved the balcony overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and the Freedom Tower. From this location, you can get anywhere in Manhattan quickly since it's on a major thoroughfare.
