Only 3 km south of Patong, this beach is famed for its five-kilometre long white beach sand that squeaks under your feet. Mostly single row sunbeds decked along the stretch offer unsurpassed and unblocked views. Turtles are periodic nocturnal visitors to the beach. Recreational activities at this beach include paragliding, windsurfing, snorkeling, and volleyball. Thai Massage and reflexology are also offered on the beach.

hotel is situated 5 minute walk from beautiful karon beach, lovely view of the ocean from the big balcony in our room. lovely quiet area but not too far from patong and kata for the nightlife. great service, lovely breakfast available but was not included in the price of our room.

"In the middle of nothing"

This hotel is good for people that whish to stay in a quite place away from the party however, for young people or just people that would like to be in the center of the party rather stay in Patong Beach, in our case we had to be taking taxis to every where we had to go and it was around 20min to patong beach and 30min to Phuket Town

"Low standards for the price"

This hotel had some cockroaches in the rooms. The staff was not so pleasant and more worried that someone would run out on the bill. The room was NOT clean (even after they cleaned it). There are plenty of other hotels with higher standards which are more affordable in this area!

"OK, but Better Options"

Had high hopes for Best Western. Pretty clean, but some glaring oversights. The shower curtain had months of orange/pink mildew on bottom foot of it (absolutely disgusting). One of the pillow covers, and the towels had brown stain spots. Quarter-size stain on top side of pillow cover--how did they miss it? Their "king bed" was two twins pushed together with a 1.5 inch mat over top both. If you slept in the middle you were on the edges of both beds. One of the beds had a sagging spot in the middle like a 500 lb person had slept there for a couple months. The redeeming factors were the location and swimming pools. Great location for Karon Beach. In general it was a cheap option that would be OK for the average backpacker, but not for a person looking for a pampering resort or resort amenities.

"Decent value for the price"

I cannot say enough good things about the quality of service here. The employees are friendly and very customer service oriented. We had a slight problem with bugs and a gecko behind the refrigerator; we were moved to another room free of charge. The layout of the place is a bit tricky and challenging to navigate if you can't adjust to the steep stairs and pathways. I really think the amenities and proximity to the beach & Karon nightlife add to the overall value. Yes, the beach is roughly 3 blocks away and Karon nightlife is maybe 6 blocks away but who's complaining with such warm, beautiful surroundings?

Location was not too convenient to other activities; hotel had a lot of steps necessary since buildings were spread out a bit. Staff was extremely polite and accomodating. I waited too long into the season to get a better location. Overall, a good value, and enjoyable stay.
