Generally very positive. The breakfast, although a good idea, did not have any food that I would choose to eat. It was all very tasty-looking but fat-producing: pastries and other calorie-traps, lots of refined carbs, and most importantly, no fruit. I liked the room very much, the beds were comfortable, the TV was nice, the A/C worked well, the bathroom was very nice. The hot tub could have been hotter, that's my only complaint.

You absolutely get what you pay for at this hotel. I never once saw a manager at the front desk, the front desk receptionists can barely speak proper English so it makes you feel like an idiot for not being able to understand them. The breakfast is a joke, the eggs are powdered, the bacon is microwaved and the "flaky biscuits" are simply bread rolls. […] The shower curtain is a complete failure, the floor gets soaking wet regardless of how you configure the curtain. The hot tub isn't nearly hot enough, but bearable. Also, they say that it's a "non smoking facility" well, if you walk down the level one hallway to the pool, you will be swamped with cigarette smoke. The room was very nice and quiet. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. And when I checked in I was given keys to a room that someone else was already occupying. That was pretty embarrasing.

The hallways need update. Fresh paint will do the trick. The food served in the breakfast buffet is low quality including the utensils provided. The bed was not comfortable at all.

Room was a bit old, had no dark curtains to outside pool, which it was visible through at night. Beds are ok. breakfast was very complete, great taste and variety.

Room was clean. Pillows were soft and large, but the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Could hear the Tv in the room next door. The wifi did not work well as we continually lost our signal. Parking was inadequate forcing us to park on the street and walk to the hotel. Soda machine dispensed the wrong cola, but the person at the desk would not refund […] my money. The room was nice, beds were nice, a/c worked well. Wireless internet did not work at all, ended up having to go purchase a prepaid wireless hotspot thingy so I could do my work. I probably will not stay in a holiday inn express again.

Room is big, but has some smell. First put us in a room facing the street, traffic noise. Asked to switch, the front desk said no room available. The next day, the front desk person is much nicer, we switched to a room which is quiet. The toilet was stuck, was cleared promptly. Breakfast is ok.

the first day we got there our room wasnt the room we reserved it was a king only and i requested 2 doubles. every morning between 6am - 8am there was no hot water and the last three days we were there the elevator was broke we had to used the stairs. the most upsetting thing was that we had strange people wandering the parking lot very unsafe. and […] they even came in for breakfast in the morning and eat and took food out of the hotel i know they have to eat but they dont have to steal we imform the hotel staff and they did nothing. This hotel is very nice for the money, but basic. there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room, so that part is inconvenient. Breakfast was good, with some type of egg and breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy and yummy cinnamon rolls everyday. Also they have a pancake maker which my son enjoyed. Hotel is much cheaper than others in the area, the […] pool looked very nice, but we did not take advantage of it, and there was a computer in the lobby which was free to use and to print from. Also , very close to "the Block" shopping and restaurants only took about 5 minutes to drive there. This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in , in this area, and we might again - depending on the price. This is a typical Holiday Inn Exp. Nothing really out of the normal. The room was comfortable, and most importantly clean. Kudos to a hotel having flat screen tv's and actually having HD channels. This is a rarity it seems. Breakfast was pretty decent. HIE's always have great cinnamon rolls. My only complaint was there was a tree outside our window […] on the third floor that kept hitting our window in the high wind. Food service good until yogurt was missing for two days. Desk service was good until wake up call line and front desk line were always busy. Room was well serviced but carpeting outside elevator on 2nd & 3rd floors was dirty and in great need of replacement.

THE STAY WAS FAIR. NEXT TIME I WILL SPRING FOR THE ADDITIONAL $50 A NIGHT DIFFERENCE AT THE HYATT. THE FREE BREAKFAST WAS ALRIGHT CONSIDERING IT WAS COMPLIMENTARY. NO WHERE TO HANG WET TOWELS AND I COULD HEAR THE NEIGHBORS SNORING.
