The hotel was wonderful! the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. universal studios is about 2 minutes away, wet n' wild is just across the street as too the sky diving place. the pool is heated. theres a gift shop thats down stairs and also an ice machine that charges 25 cents, but giving the area theres a reason so i dont blame them. the room was great and comforable, couldnt complain if you are not use to these types of hotels. that mostly have breakfast served down stairs instead of to your room. the continental breakfast was free. but if you are looking for a little extra like e.g. eggs, sausages, breakfast sandwitches for a pretty discent price expect to pay up front and not having it billed to your room. housekeeping was ok. My husband semi complained about the traffic from the the I-4. "WARNING!" BE AWARE OF THE PIZZA FLYERS THROUGH YOUR DOOR! the travel channel states it. Now from my opinion,If you think about it, look at the flyers really good. please dont buy from them, but just look at them really good... there are only phone numbers and NO ADDRESSES. also theres no directions, come on! who do they think they are fooling! the scarest part was when they were sticking it through the door and the most scarest part is looking at the person that was doing it... he was dressed in all black creepy! Over all park close and also in well lit areas. I would conpare this place to a days inn, a place to rest, take a shower or bath and just to go out and have fun in Orlando...nice place. and to all you travelers who are picky where you stay and looking for 4 to 5 star quality this is not the place for you!

There are many low cost restaurants within walking distance. *WiFi is located in the main entrance area ONLY - NO WiFi IN THE ROOMS... *If you can, skip the shuttle ride (YES...ITS FREE) the bus makes many stops prior to arriving at the parks. You will not arrive until after 11am, pickup is at 7:15pm, the parks close at 6pm. A Taxi will cost about $5 one way, or take your own vehicle for $14 a day. *REMEMBER this is a 2 star hotel...you get what you pay for! The hotel room certainly was a bang for the bucks. Room service could be better. The phone I had was broken. There was no alarm clock in the room. There is no Iron in the room, you would have to request it. The amenities in the room were little antiquated. The ceilings showed a lot of dampening. But for the money I cannot complain but pointing out things for the next person to compare. The phone doesn't allow you to make local or national long distance calls for free. The only free calls are room service calls and toll free.

The hotel was ok however at one point we thought we lost our key and they were going to charge us $15.00 for a new one and it smelled pretty bad in our room. Also the free continental breakfast was toast or cereal and you had to pay $1.00 per egg!! The location on the other hand was great for the price paid... my suggestion is dont stay at this hotel unless you plan on staying out of your room the majority of your trip.

This hotel was nothing but gross! Everything from a broken toilet, a broken tv remote, mold in bathroom, mold in fridge which by the way didn't work. The sick would stop up, so when you brushing you teeth you better be careful cuz it will overflow with yummy toothpaste juice. Plus don't get me started on the free breakfast, this was a joke. You get a piece of dried out piece of toast with some old looking butter with a watered down orange juice. Other than that, the hotel is located just around the block from universal studios and just a short car ride to any disney attrations. Lets just put it this way, you get what you pay for.

We checked in to the hotel and had reserved two rooms, at check in, the receptionist states that because she had issued a key to the adjacent room she could not give us a key to our side of the rooms, so we had to wait for maintenance!!! Because there was no manager on duty and the plastic card keys were locked in his office... The room was gross, the carpet has stains all over. It looked like it needed an overhaul. The wallpaper is coming off the walls with stains all over. Dont even step in to the tub with out flip-flops on, black spots, and the shower head came off!! The decor didnt match and the furniture was broken everywhere... Totally disgusted.

The price was decent enough for the parks that I visited for the days that I was there. However the so called " breakfast variety" was not at all what I had expected. I agree with the comments that were left by other visitors to this hotel when it came to the type of variety u had to choose from for breakfast, which consisted of toast, coffee, and milk and cereal that's it ( no waffles) as some guest stated there would be some. There are other reataurants that offered a decent price for a buffet style breakfast .. If u wanted extra with your breakfast at this hotel u of course had to pay for it . Not good for the amount u paid to book the hotel ..

When you are on vacation on Orlando, the thing about hotels is that they are a crash and burn place. This time we were on the first floor - a short distance from the pool. Well it was the middle of the week. The only internet was in the lobby, but since I was so close - I had no problem. Since this was my second time, I saw the difference in Breakfast. The only change was that there were no longer waffle irons. It was replaced with two metal pans filled with bread. But the milk and serial was still there.
