Location was isolated but close to my work area. The hotel was fair but the real downside was the bed and bedding and since thats what we pay to stay at hotels for, I was very very disappointed. Pretty good value. They keep it clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The drawbacks are thin walls (two nights straight the guest in the next room was snoring like a bear which kept me awake) and the water has a sulpher smell/taste (that may be an Orlando thing more then this hotel). But the price was good.

Clean, in a decent neighborhood, easy access. Apparently constucted of wood as floors squeeked & sagged. walls paper thin, could hear everything from adjoining rooms. Bed was harder than I like, lots of good pillows. Very clean & pleasant. Excellent price for one night stay

The bed was supremely uncomfortable and squeaky, the carpet was stained and dirty, there was a horrendous smell in the lobby and hotel hallways, the bathroom was dirty and the toilet would not flush properly. We were also woken up at 6 AM by small children running and screaming in the halls outside our door. The other reviews were right about the thin […] walls too. This was a very clean and comfortable hotel. Towels and linens were fresh and updated. This was not the very best place to stay but it was very comfortable, safe, and clean. It was also very quite. I have a hard time sleeping with any noise and I didn't hear any sounds from other guests, even though I know several had small children.

The staff was very nice, the only reason we would choose elsewhere is the lack of noise controll. Did not get good sleep due to loud neighbors up at all hours of the morning ( to 3:30 am!), then other neighbors up at 5am banging on doors. They should add earplugs to the little give-aways!!

Stayed for four nights. Ont eh first night I noticed that the bathtub wasn't draining. Complained on the next day and the problem was fixed when I arrived. I requested a 4am wake up call that never happened. Breakfast is very nice.

When we first went in we found a dirty sock sticking out from under the bed. There was some type of unknown stain on the floor in front of the TV and the previous guest "Matthew ......." still had his check in garbage in the room. We put the sock in the hallway where it remained for he rest of the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The front desk staff was exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Overall, this was a very pleasant place to stay. The location was very convenient, the room was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were very nice. We observed a couple of maintenance issues in our room the first night and reported them the following morning. Our air conditioner issue was remedied immediately,but the other problem - a faucet that would not turn off completely - continued throughout our stay. I needed a place to stay as I attended a 3 day conference in the Wyndham hotel. I initially wanted to stay at the Wyndham hotel but saw that Holiday Inn Express was a a better deal financially (Almost a hundred dollars less for the entire weekend). I had stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels at other locations and was pleased with their service before […] so I figure I'd give it a try here in Orlando too. It was better than I expected. Breakfast was included, unlike many hotels in the area. The room was clean. The service was friendly. The parking was conveniently located all around the hotel so you could park your vehicle close to your room. I was even able to see my vehicle from my room. The location was excellent, being that I was just a couple of minutes from Downtown Disney. The hotel didn't even charge me a parking fee like most hotels do. I was in such a great mood from the deal I had received from this hotel that I decided to go in the jacuzzi, which was clean and fantastic. We booked the room because of the location and the Holiday Inn name. What we found was, walls so thin you could hear your neighbor's TV and understand the words being spoken. The king bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We will not be staying there again.

Both elevators had a really bad smell of machine oil and old sweat. After all day meetings and conference it was the last thing I wanted to experience on the way to my room. Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn Express and packed with kids and parents, so caution, very tight and long waits. The two times I had left at 11:30am I came back to a dirty room, […] the other three days I left at 7am and everything was fine. Very surprised this hotel can't have the housekeepers come back to clean the room after that or make sure I had fresh towels. Carpets had soiled spots, wouldn't even think about going barefoot in the room. Beds are old and not very comfortable. Convenient part is that there's a Walmart across the street if you need or forget anything, gas station and subway too. Location is near the freeway(s) so it was convenient getting to all my destinations. Front desk staff were all very nice and helpful. For the price paid I didn't expect very much and didn't get much so all in all it was pretty fair, except for the elevator smell. On a side note, buy a toll pass if you want to save time and not worry about stopping at every booth. Ended up saving me money with all the driving I did. Read more
