Conveniently located next to a central bus terminal for direct transfer to/from the airport. About 10minute walk into anywhere worth being (O'Connell Street, Temple Bar, Grafton Street) which in November was a bit cold! Hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and good quality food. Rooms are quite small and a bit noisy due to locality of bus station, tram lines and train line but functional for a quick weekend away. Would recommend somewhere more central if price isn't an issue but for the price this hotel is perfectly ok.

This hotel, by far, exceeded any expectations that I had when I was booking it. All I wanted was a nice hotel for a night for my boyfriend's birthday, and I found this place last minute. It is one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in, and surpasses what I would have thought to be a three star rating. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I booked a smoking room, but that did not affect its quality in any way, as it was very spacious with big windows, had a gorgeous bathroom, and a very comfy double bed. Only just over a five minute walk to the city center, I would highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in Dublin and the Hotel Isaacs was a great choice. Unfortunately the first night we found the room at the front of the hotel directly overlooked the bus garage and police station so it was very noisy despite double glazed windows. People shouting and laughing in the street could also be clearly heard so we requested and got a room on the 4th floor. This was perfect, overlooking an internal courtyard with a huge comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly, keeping our luggage on the last day while we had a last look at Dublin before flying back late at night.

Hotel Isaacs is located accross from the bus station & tram stop, train station is 5 min way, great for travellers. Room had great ammenities, comfortable & everything worked. We had an off street view, made for a very quiet room. Elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, be prepared to walk up to the 4th. Internet was extra & could get expensive, but cafe around the corner had lots of units & very inexpensive. Many of the local attractions, pubs & historic sites were just a short walk away.

You know what it's like when you arrive in a strange city and then have to spend ages trying to find your hotel? Well not so with the Isaacs. From the airport a 6 euro (747) bus ride drops you off at the central bus terminal right opposite the hotel. The tram also stops just outside and the train station is a short walk away. For restaurants and decent bars you really need to walk about 10 mins-ok if it's not raining! My advice...don't use the hotel restaurant. Breakfast there is 12.50 euros and although they do an earlybird 9.90 euro evening meal (pizza or pasta) they seem to want you in and out again in record time! Far better for breakfast to go around the corner to the Isaacs HOSTEL. They have a lovely little cafe in there where for about 7 euro you get the full works for breakfast that sets you up for the rest of the day. For a decent restaurant you really need to head for Temple Bar although avoid the Gallagher Boxty House - IMO very over rated! We got a free upgrade to the Georgian wing in this hotel - don't know why but we had a lovely large room, beautifully clean although we did get some train noise. Otherwise I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We would recommend buying a Dublin Bus Freedom Ticket, from Dublin airport’s tourist information centre. We went for 3 days, and for EUR 25, the ticket included transfer to and from the airport to Dublin city centre, and 3 days unlimited use on the Dublin Bus; a tour circling the city’s most famous attractions. The hotel was in a great location, less than 10 minutes walk to Temple Bar, and around 5 minutes to the Dublin Bus stop on O’Connell Street. The rooms were good, and staff attentive. Great value for money, although it’s all too easy to spend a small fortune on the great tasting Guinness from dusk til dawn. Would also recommend visiting the prison, and Dublin zoo, and obviously the Guinness factory, all of which have affiliations with the Dublin Bus, with which you get a EUR 1 discount on each attraction. Also Ryan’s pub, near Phoenix Park is a must, with such previous patrons as Bill Clinton and Julia Roberts (not together!). The original decor and calm atmosphere is good for a change from the heaving pubs of Temple Bar. Overall a great city and a top weekend break.

The hotel is litterally across the street from the Central Bus Station and as well as a tram stop. The DART and rail station is only a few minutes away, so it's a great location for travelling. A short bus ride will get you to the hotel from the airport very easily. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It got a little noisy in the morning as most of the floorboards squeak when people are walking around, but if you plan to be up early then that shouldn't be a problem. Overall a great experience.

The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to get there, for us traveling there by buss, this is important. We just took the Airlink down to the central station (which looks really great btw) and after stepping across the street and round a corner we were there. Splendid! The first impression were really good too, very welcoming staff. the lobby seemed quite nice too. After a short elevator trip, we got to our room. A bit to small hallways, but what the heck. Our room looked just as great as the one I paid more then twice to get in my previous trip. (granted this was to russia) Alltogether, very nice trip. Only thing i can complain about is that the breakfast werent included, though this led us to two really nice breakfasts out. So imho it was worth it Enjoy!

Väldigt trevligt hoteel Bra läge. DOCK: riktigt störande nattklubb utanför, nedre botten. Var öppet till 03.00? Sov inte en blund. Synd.
