The location could not be any better. We could see the Dom from our window! The hotel pub was perfect, the room was modern and clean, and the restaurant had the best breakfast I've ever seen! The room was small, but hey, this is Europe, not the US. Restaurants, shops, and museums (including the chocolate museum) were all walkable. We are def. going to stay there again!

You cannot stay closeer to the airport. You walk from the Hotel elevator across to the the departure gates. Staff was very helpful with directions on using the train to get into the city.

It was a wonderful stay. The service industry in Germany varies greatly from that in the US. Keep your expectations in check. The hotel was very close to the Dom, train station, and several attractions we could simply walk to. Over all, it was a good value for this time of year.

The guy in the reception is grim looking and said that the hotel closed at 2AM, so come early !? :(. I was very shock when I hear this. If it is ok for you remaing things are overall ok. Dont wait too much from the hotel

On arrival we were greeted by a pleasant man at reception who was very friendly and helpful. Sadly the lift was full of rubbish bags and a mop and this was not removed whilst the 3 of us piled in with our bags. The hotel is basic and old fashioned (not what we usually book). It was clean but felt unwholesome for some reason. The bed was comforatable […] with a memory foam mattress and clean bedding. The sink in the bathroom was not cleaned properly and a little grimey. While the hotel was in an excellent location for getting into the main areas of the city, for a small hotel the quality of the room was disappointing. The pictures on the website did not match the reality of the room we stayed in. It was very basic and quite old-fashioned.

The staff were friendly, but the room was ugly and cold at night (even with the heating up to full) the bedsheets were stained and the neighbourhood wasn't the greatest ('adult' shop across the street, massive construction going on in the middle of the road). The location's convenient because the S-Bahn's right nearby and the Altstadt is easily accessible […] on foot or by tram. The room was big and clean and very close to the tram stop - the room rate included public transportation. Also sauna and swimming pool were nice extra. Only the view from the hotel room was not perfect, otherwise nothing to complain. Totally worth money!

Hotel a bit shabby but clean and the staff were friendly and helpful-near to city centre and restaraunts within walking distance. Wouldn't recommend rooms at the front of the hotel as the trams come past the window frequently and might wake any light sleepers.

Pretty nice small hotel with beatiful antique furniture in rooms. Not brand new but convinient. Internet realy works, personell friendly, breakfast is fine. Only sauna was closed when we came.

Die Einrichtung ist tatsächlich schon etwas länger nicht mehr ganz auf dem aktuellen Stand, auf den Betten haben wir trotzdem gut geschlafen. Sauber war es auch. Von Hotels.com wurde bei der Buchung allerdings kostenlose "Premium-Sender und Pay-TV" sowie eine Minibar und ein Zimmersafe versprochen. Die Fakten waren 4 Kanäle Analog TV in krisseliger […] Qualität und weder Zimmersafe noch Minibar waren im Zimmer auffindbar. Bei der Rezeption zeigte man sich erstaunt auf die Frage nach der Minibar. Wir konnten aber ohne Probleme unsere Sachen im Hotelkühlschrank aufbewahren. Zu der Lage noch folgende Info für mit dem Auto Anreisende: Parkplätze sind Mangelware und auf eine Parkdauer von 2 Stunden begrenzt. Es empfiehlt sich die Parkhäuser in der näheren Umgebung zu vergleichen. Read more

Das Hotel ist sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Trotz Straßenbahn vor der Tür nicht besonders laut, auch nicht hellhörig. Frühstücksbuffet war ok, nichts Besonderes, aber dafür 10,-- €, naja, hätte etwas günstiger sein können. Insgesamt alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch in Ordnung.

Hotellet ligger ganska bra till, det var lätt att komma till affärer och det låg bara några minuters gångavstånd från närmade tågstation. Personalen var trevlig men deras engelska var bristfällig som bäst, och nattreceptionisten var väldigt otrevlig när jag kom tillbaka på natten. Frukosten var inte något att skryta med, men som sagt det fanns ju bagerier […] väldigt nära om man ville ha en riktig frukost. När jag ville duscha på morgonen så kom varmvatten väldigt sporadiskt och rätt som det var fick man en rejäl isig kalldusch. Inte precis vad man vill ha en kall november morgon. hôtel bien siuté en centre ville mais totalement défraîchi, du coup le tarif qui semblait très convenable par rapport à la catégorie lors de la réservation, nous a paru élevé une fois sur place ; la moquette n'était pas très propre, la pièce sentait un peu le renfermé, le tout paraissait vieillo malgré un bel effort d'entretien au niveau de la salle […] de bain qui elle était propre, avec sèche cheveu, savon liquide au dessus du lavabo et dans la douche, grand miroir, boite de mouchoirs en papiers #il en restait 2 dedans ...#, pas de problème avec l'eau chaude, malheureusement assise des toilettes branlante ; à noter que l'on sent le métro passer sous l'hôtel, centre ville oblige, mais du côté cours on n'entendait pas du tout les voitures ; cela ne nous a pas donné envie de prendre notre petit déjeuner sur place ; cet hôtel ne vaut pas plus que du 2* Read more

Naja. Für 120 € für 2 Tage/2 Personen konnten wir nicht viel erwarten. Aber zumindest das Zimmer hätte sauberer sein müssen. Klo und Dusche waren nicht ausreichend geputzt und es waren noch Spuren vom Vorgänger erkennbar. Als wir uns einen Tee machen wollten (wir nehmen immer einen kleinen Wasserkocher mit) und die bereitgestellten Gläser verwenden […] wollten, musste ich zu meinem Bedauern feststellen, dass diese ziemlich verdreckt waren. Spülmaschinenspuren sind eine Sache, aber das Glastablett und die Ränder der Gläser waren mit irgendeiner fettigen Substanz behaftet, sowie Fusseln und Staub. War nicht so prickelnd. Lage ist ziemlich bescheiden. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Straße und in der Mitte ist z.Z. Großbaustelle. Ein Parkhaus liegt direkt auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite und eine Möglichkeit zum Ausladen des Gepäcks ist ein Akt, wenn man es nicht um die ganze Baustelle schleppen möchte. Read more

The room was big and clean and very close to the tram stop - the room rate included public transportation. Also sauna and swimming pool were nice extra. Only the view from the hotel room was not perfect, otherwise nothing to complain. Totally worth money!

Pretty nice small hotel with beatiful antique furniture in rooms. Not brand new but convinient. Internet realy works, personell friendly, breakfast is fine. Only sauna was closed when we came.
