We were looking for a good value in Brugges for our Spring 2013 road trip. The price and amenities at this location were attractive for our budget. But you should know that the hotel is on the outskirts of the town, not really within walking distance of the town center, and parking at the town center is a bit complicated for first-timers. The rooms […] were quite small. The bathroom was badly designed--the bathtub seemed quite unsafe for anyone who has to step in to take a shower. The staff was pleasant, and there was a decent breakfast available. It was clean. We had problems with the wifi. Our experience was neither disappointing nor pleasant, therefore I would rate it as "ok". The hotel looks decent, but not quite 4*. For example, I would have expected for the minibar to be filled with drinks & snacks. Imagine my surprise when I woke up thirsty in the middle of the night and noticed the fridge was empty :(.

I chose this hotel because I was visiting Brugge for a few days. The cost of this hotel compared to the ones in the center of the city was very reasonable. It was just north of the city center. I walked to the center in 25 minutes. They offer cab vouchers for 9.50 euros each way - a little cheaper than what the cabs actually charge. I read earlier reviews […] stating that the hotel staff was not friendly or helpful. That could not be further from the truth in my experience. I stayed at this hotel about nine years ago when it was new and under different ownership and loved it but now it is in need of updating. Prices especially in the dining room are too high for the quality of the service. The hotel is good for two reasons - reasonable price and location. However, the hotel staff isn't really any help, something that might affect you if you're a tourist in Brussels. Most disappointing was that our room was not ready until 3:30 PM on the day we had to checkin (we arrived at 2:55 PM, tired from a long journey, and there were no apologies, […] or even any sense of urgency for that matter). It's a nice place. It's fancy-normal, but they manage to fit some personality in there. The walk into town was nice, but could be a bit much for some folks. Quiet location, good staff, decent breakfast, I'd stay there again.

The hotel is located away from the sights and sounds of Brugge. Access is by taxi and public transportation which could be costly if you are there for a week. It is a fairly new hotel but the picture on the website is more beautiful than the actual building. The front desk staff needs training in diversity and should do more to make guests feel welcome. […] The rooms are comfortable for two persons. Hotel was nice, but too far from city center; ridiculous to pay 9 euros for parking when hotel is located in the middle of nothing. Room was not ready until after regular check in time 4 pm. Missing remote control - reception could not get us another one.

This is a nice comfortable hotel. We enjoyed watching the sheep out our hotel room window. However, a big draw back was the hotel's distance from the city center. It required a cab ride, which wasn't made up for in a lower room rate. Unfortunately when we were there, there was a triathelon in town, and the buses went on strike and the cabs were backed […] up. It is a good hotel, has a nice service and is clean, quiet and confortable. The only bad side is that is a littel far of the turistic atractions of Brugges. If you wante a quiet hotel it is OK. There is a special rate of taxi from hotel to the down town of 7 euros (single ride), but next time I prefer to stay in down town.

I found this hotel to be clean with the staff friendly. The free wireless barely worked in the room that we were in and the food in the restaurant was overpriced and terrible. The people who work here are nice and friendly though and this place can't be beat for the price. It is about a 20 minute walk outside of the city center of brugge or a 10 euro […] cab ride. They do offer vouchers for the cabs to go to and from the hotel for 7 euro's which is nice but its really restrictive about where you can go etc. This hotel was very inexpensive and had comfy fairly big for europe rooms. The hotel is located in one of the nicest little parks, everytime I go there I have to see the sheeps and the ducks and the trees, it looks like you're in the woods. This hotel is clean and quiet. It is out of the city center and there is no metro in Bruge. St. Peters (we thought it may have been a square) is the closest bus stop and it is not a major stop, but the end of the line. The hotel has a deal worked out with a local taxi company for 7 euros each way to and from the city center, which is a bit steep considering […] it is a 2mi ride. You can easily walk into the city center during the day and cab it back at night. Must do's: Canal rides are about 6-7 euros, De Halve Maan Brewery tour is 5 euros, and the Church of Our Lady is free and features a Michaelangelo. Be prepared for one of the most expensive cities to eat at in Europe, the river eel is bomb. Also, the hotel has a 10 euro deal worked out with the cab company to get back to the train station. Checking in was great. The staff were quick to please and offered a map with recommendations on where to visit. Rooms were clean and comfortable with central heating, a/c. Very clean & modern hotel. Initially my wife & I were worried about the low price in comparison to other hotels but it turned out to be a great hotel at an amazing price. We had 1 room with 2 twin beds pushed together to make a queen.With several trips to Brugge planned this year, we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is exactly as you would expect any 2 or 2.5 star hotel to be. It is located 35 minutes from downtown but still charges for parking, it has small analogue TVs, bathrooms without doors that lock, extremely thin walls that let the sound travel in the morning, no coffee pots in the rooms, an institutional feeling, and minimal customer service. […] It is just like any other 2 or 2.5 star hotel. The problem is that it advertises as a four star hotel!!! If you have ever stayed in a good hotel, you will surely note that this is not one of them.
