"better hotels out there than Scandic Upplandia"
Very very noisy rooms and unidentified people lingering about inside the hotel. Was on 2nd floor in the middle of a corridor facing the court yard surrounded by buildings, hence no view from window. For 2 mornings straight I was wakened up by 1. the cleaning maid, 2. an unidentified man NOT belonging to the hotel staff, both of mornings I had a display […] card placed outside my door "Do Not Disturb". The unidentified man practically banged on my door twice at 9 o'clock in the morning. The incident was reported to the receptionist Lina but nothing was followed up. Still no idea who he was and for what purpose he was there. Every morning, you could hear people walking about in the corridor and maids started cleaning at 8am every day. You can hear ALL activities next door and across hall way. Very very poor sound proof design. The temperature control (the knob) inside the bathroom was completely broken so it was way too warm after each shower (since it was set to the max and couldn't be turned off or down). Security was lax. People who were not part of hotel staff walked about inside the hotel. No room key card was needed in order to access guest floors inside the lift even though it was designed to. Was told workers were to replace windows of Upplandia hotel EVERY MORNING for the next month when checking out. I was never informed of any repairs or visits from repair men for my room during my stay when checking in. Hotel management needs to change/educate staff about courtesy and professionalism in dealing/checking in guests. For now, stay way from Upplandia for security and noise reasons, if not for the level of service/hospitality from its staff as well. Read more

Friendly staff, spacious room, unfortunately no bath. Convenient check-out time at noon.
"Nærehet til byen."
Oppholdet var en fin opplevelse. Rommet var rent og fint når vi kom, og servicen fra ansatte var tilfretsstillende. Rommet vi fikk var litt lite, og det manglet skap til klær, men det var kleshengere. Beliggenheten er mitt i blinken for handel og div. Frokosten helt klart det beste, god kvalitet og bra utvalg, den gir vi en sekser.

Bokningen via Hotels.com visade sej vara ett bra val. Trots beskrivning som "mycket enkelt rum" var det ett vanligt rum varför priset var mycket fördelaktigt.

Jag var lite besviken på frukosten... Annars: ett bra hotell, centralt, prisvärt, rent.

"Hotel Upplandia - god beliggenhet og bra pris!"
For et kortweekendopphold i Uppsala var dette et perfekt hotell. Særlig pluss er fantastisk beliggenhet ifht gangavstand til alt man trenger av shopping, restauranter og uteliv. Prisen (påsketilbud) var ingenting å klage over, og heller ikke at frokosten varte helt til kl 13! Helt grei hotellstandard, harde senger, og manglet hårføner, men likte treningsrommet […] i kjelleren som var nytt og fresht. Read more

"Upplandia Uppsala, hotelli keskustassa"
Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä. Yhden hengen huone oli tilava, 2 hengen huone pienehkö. Sänky oli kova.

Hyvä kaupunkihotelli, alussa kylmä huone, ilmastointi väärin, korjattiin, vastaanotossa voisi olla osin ystävällisempi palvelu, aamiaispalvelu ja siivouspalvelu ystävällistä. Hyvä keskeinen sijainti. Edullinen hinta Hotels.comin ansiosta.

Min första fundering när vio hade bokat detta hotell var om det var nära till centrum, skulle jag hinna ut och handla det sista. Hotellet ligger mitt i centrum. det vara bara att gå ut genom entren så var man mitt i smeten. Ändå var det lungt på natten eftersom det inte var någon traffik utanför. Inte heller var det lyhört.
