"Four Points in Jaipur"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 1, 2012
The Four Points is a good hotel overall but could use more variety of foods at breakfast with additional wait staff. The guest room doors also shut with quite a slam which was annoying when trying to sleep. But otherwise the staff is super polite and customer oriented. The hotel is conveniently connected to a grocery store where we bought beverages and snacks. There is also a mall which is connected but we didn't visit it. Overall, it was a fine stay.

We extremely enjoyed our stay at Shiv Villas. The hotel is just beautiful, lovely swimming pool area. great for weddings or week-end getaways. Close to the Amer Fort.
"Great stay in Jaipur"Reviewed by Duncan S of "Chicago, IL" on Nov 4, 2011
A super nice stay in wonderful building. Great staff, very accommodating and helpful. Very comfortable rooms and in comfortable surrounds. Fairly good striking distance to old town. The only two items that stopped me scoring a 5 rating is that the breakfast was very ordinary; strawberry? jelly (jam) on toast and pancakes every day. Instant coffee and no juice. The restaurant meals were quite bland and the beer more expensive than restaurants in town.

"Truly remarkable hotel"
The hotel was an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. World class facilities and service was a nice change from other hotels in the area. Definitely go on the evening tour where you are treated to the history of the palace as well as complimentary champagne in the Polo Bar. The Pool and spa facilities were also a welcome respite from touring […] the city sites. Read more
"stay away"
Staying in a 5* hotel is as much about service as ambiance. This hotel has neither. It offers the WORST service of any hotel I have ever stayed at in my life, combined with tacky rooms and an out of the way location. Excuse me for not being exiled indian royalty, but I assume, that unless you are, you will be as ignored, rudely spoken to, and served […] cold inedible food (if you're lucky enough to get any at all), as I was during my incredibly inhospitable stay at this overpriced joke of a palace. Perhaps you might also be offered a fly in your glass of wine, when you finally get checked in, after a grilling by gatestaff who insist you "probably aren't staying here." Maybe, after a hectic afternoon trying to organise a car into the city centre (thanks for trying to charge me 10x the going rate concierge!) you will enjoy waiting 4 hours for your room service meal, which is not what you ordered and too cold and rubbery to eat anyway. Rambagh raves on and on about its connection to royalty and as far as I'm concerned they can keep it. My tip, if you want quality, stay at the Oberoi. ps I stayed here with my husband. We are 2 middle aged smartly dressed westerners in india on a business / holiday. Here, we were made to feel like dirt! Read more

Read more
