The Westin was perfect! Stayed in a suite with friends for a weekend away. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The location is perfect for walking and dining in the old port and totally accessible if you want to spend time downtown or further North. No complaints!

We only stayed the one night at Place d'Armes hotel, on our way back to Vancouver and then home, but we wished we had more time, and will return. The hotel staff were both welcoming and efficient (not a combination one often finds), and the hotel itself was immaculate in every respect. The room was flawless in its design, the bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to feel like one is clambering from a bean-bag, upon rising, (as I found in so many hotels in the States!) I particularly appreciated that the designers had eschewed a bath/shower combination in the large bathroom, and installed a large, stone-clad, walk-in shower with a beautiful glass shower screen, instead. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Montreal by foot, which was just what we wanted to do, since we only had the one night. When we checked out, we left our luggage with Place D'Armes, mentioned when we would return for our flight and, when we did, a taxi was already awaiting us. Immaculate service.

"Anne ma soeur Anne Hotel Studio - Mostly amazing"
The location and price were incredible. The service was incredible. My only nitpick was the bed and pillows were not particularly comfortable. I'm writing this with a stiff neck left over from two nights ago. Honestly, that's not too serious of a problem because everything else was perfect. Next time, I'll just bring my own pillow.

the rooms are great, the beds folded up to a table that worked out great for eating breakfast/lunch. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the location is great if you want to shop/eat/dance in the plateau area.

I loved this hotel. I stayed with my husband and son for a weekend. The room was a suite with two separate rooms. Each had a bed, bathroom, and kitchen. The kitchen came with bottled water and orange juice for no charge and wine for about $9 a bottle. Each morning brought fresh croissants to our door. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I […] would give the hotel a 5 with the exception of two things that really didn't bother me at all, but might bother others. 1) There are some steep steps leading up to the hotel. It was no big deal for me but it's not exactly for everyone. 2) There is a jazz club right downstairs. I didn't might hearing jazz at 2:00 in the morning but again, it's not for everyone. The hotel is in a great location on the Plateau. Lots of great shops and restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. The subway is also close by. Economy room is a bit tight space-wise but functional. Rooms have a fully stocked mini-kitchenette which is very useful. Bed was a bit hard. Rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax and chat. "Lovely little European-style hotel in great locale"
We really enjoyed our stay at Anne Ma Soeur Anne. It was in a wonderful location - the heart of the Quartier Latin and the Plateau - and just a couple of blocks from the Metro - four stops to Vieux Montreal. Fantastic location, you are right in the middle of the action on rue St Denis. Had an "Economical" room, right over the street, a bit noisy, so if you are looking to get a good quiet night's sleep, you may want to look elsewhere. For someone who wants to be in the centre of Montréal's vibrant Rue St-Denis, there's no better place. Restaurants for all budgets, shops, cafés and buses/Métro connections are all minutes away. There's an excellent jazz club two doors away. This is a great hotel for people who want to be in the Mont Royal area and aren't looking to pay big bucks. The location and price really can't be beat. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and they provide you with fresh croissants for breakfast. En entrant dans la chambre nous nous sommes promis de ne plus jamais choisir une chambre en ville si peu chère!! Nous avons eu l'impression d'être en cité universitaire! Pas de place pour circuler autour du lit, pas moyen de dégager la petite table et de s'y asseoir pour prendre le petit-déjeuner!
