I like the new improvements although this particular hotel had not completed their improvements it was still clean and cozy. The price is just right even if you have to book at he last minute.

Did really like the rooms then had a brochure that said all rooms had a flat screen and the room I had didn't have one it had an old TV in it. Wasn't satisfied at all very disappointed

I would probably oinly recommend this hotel during the Dover Race in all honesty. I was not pleased w/this hotel. There was no coffee pot in room as it states, and there was no iron or ironing board (for anyone who might need one), nor was there even a hair dryer in the rooms. Plan to bring your own shampoo & conditioner also.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, which was good because we needed their help a lot. Our room keys would not work three times and finally they had to reprogram the door. The bathroom is very small and the shower curtain continuously attacked me while the shower literally screeched. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. For me, I prefer an enclosed area for the wash bowl and dressing area. But, this format was tolerable for a one-nite stay.

Decent price for the room, but half of the rooms face right onto a very busy street. I asked to switch to a room more in the back, but they did not want to do that. I had to buy ear plugs to wear at night since the noise was very loud when trucks or motorcycles went by.

PROS: friendly staff, fast check in. clean room, we checked for bed bugs and everything was sealed with zippered covers. nice area, clean room, microwave/fridge were clean. Overall they get an A from us. pets allowed free. and as promised we were no where near smoking rooms. free newspaper at front, they mailed are mail for us. did a wake up call too! CONS: […] liquor store next door but we saw no 'drunks' hanging around. they said we would have a coffee maker and it wasnt there, but we didnt mind. didnt leave conditioner. the shampoo wasnt enough for one person- bring your own. The "breakfast" was not a real breakfast, cereal/coffee/toast for you to make and muffins wrapped #to go#... nothing great but hey its free. The room had not been cleaned properly. The toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. We informed the front desk, but with no response we were forced to get cleaning supplies and clean it ourselves. There were items left in the fridge from the previous occupant. If you are looking for a cheap hotel to just sleep, then this is the place for you. Although the hotel was clean it is so out dated. They don't have irons and iron boards in the room, so you have to go down stair to get them. I think they are the only hotel that still has tube TV. Although the hotel is fairly new the over all feeling I got was that it was dirty. The walls were marked and dirty , the valance on the bed had a hole it it. First room we checked into - the T.V. did not work. Changed our room to a room that was not very clean nor in very good condition. Smoke detector was hanging off the wall. Had to return to the desk four floors below 3 times after leaving hotel because key did not work. Very frustrating.

We weren't happy with the hotel at all. At the elevator was a table with some plants that appeared to be dying. Then in the elevator the rug looked dirty and almost appeared that someone did an oil change with it. The room was okay, however, the tub was in need of a cleaning. The skid surface on the bottom of the tub was grey and dirty as was the out […] side of the tub. It appeared that some was kicking the tub. The toilet seat also needed to be cleaned, the white seat was great is places. A little bathroom cleaner was needed for sure. Also there was no plastic liner in the shower. The water presser was the worst. Don't expect to clean your hair unless you are a man with short hair. The bathroom sink also needed to be clean. Plain and simple it was a room nothing to write home about. We would NOT stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Read more
