I had booked a non-smoking double through hotels.com. When we arrived we were given a smoking room so we went back to the front desk to get a non-smoking room. The desk person went on to lecture me that I did not request a non-smoking room and that I was lucky that they had a non-smoking room available or else I would be stuck in the smelly room. The main problem was we are not smokers and the halls were thick with the smell of smoke. We were with a group and many complained their towels smelled of cigarette smoke. Our towels appeared to be clean but were damp and had a sour smell to them. The pool was great and clean but there was no where to get in the shade.

Had not previously stayed at a Jameson Inn and found this one to be clean, comfy, and friendly. The breakfast was a bit picked over because there were quite a few guests, but the staff quickly recovered. Nice stay for an affordable price.

Hotels is dirty ans smells Carpet in the rooms and hallways look more like a yard than floor covering. The headrest of the recliner in the room was black. Probably never cleaned. Paid for two beds - they tried to put my in a room with just a king size bed. Air conditioner did not work. The guy working front dest looked like he was 16 years old and clueless. Will not stay there again.

Very clean and comfortable. Water is a little discolored, but I think Louisiana water is not that great anywhere there. Just drink bottled water. I only stayed 1 night, and had no problems.

This location is close to various businesses and shopping. My spouse and I arrived for a one day trip at 4 pm and even though check in was at 3 lseveral rooms were not cleaned. We were put in a room and we noticed the bed was not made so we had to transfer to another room, The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was great! Well the water was light brown using the bathroom amenities. I am from this area, but my big city boyfriend was caught off guard. He was not comfortable with the color of the water, and in turn only dranked bottled water and soda. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful!

Not great for non-smokers. Booked 3 nonsmoking rooms and got them (per Jameson) but were on smoking floors. 1 shared an access door (locked) with a smoking room. Towels under door couldn't stop the smoke. Tried to get another room but all booked. Other things - smoke detector hanging off wall, trash in trash can upon arrival.

The property is in great condition, the rooms are quiet, the staff is professional. Only negatives are the rooms are comically tiny, like Toyko hotel tiny, ok not that small, but smaller than you are used to and the pool is about the size of my bathtub.
