We stayed here for two nights and it didn't meet our expectations, but it wasn't a complete miss. We had booked the superior room, included balcony, but we were initially given a smaller room without a balcony which was brought up to the receptionist and fixed without hassle. After seeing both types of rooms available, we highly recommend booking the […] superior room because it is much bigger, his and hers sinks, mini-bar included, breakfast included, and the balcony was really big which surprised us. We had a very clean and nicely appointed room. Ours had a view of the Alhambra and mountains. Excellent buffet breakfast with many hot and cold choices. Closer to the train station than to the City Center. Attentive staff.

Closer walking distance than anticipated to the shops and sights. Although rooms situated above apartments, this made no difference whatsoever as very, very quiet. The hotel is close to the train station, which is why we chose it- the photos represented a clean, well appointed hotel. As with a different Vincci property in a different city in Spain, the money is spent in the communal areas, not in the rooms. The headboard of the bed in our room was not attached to the wall, it was sitting out on the balcony, leaving […] the nails still in the all (bent into the wall to avoid injury I guess), but also leaving the stains showing. There was a beautiful balcony available, but no cafe table or chairs to sit in, which would be nice- definitely a missed opportunity. The staff was lovely- very helpful and kind. The breakfast was good- a bit overpriced, but good. The neighborhood had a few good restaurants around the corner, but ultimately, most of what one would want to see/do as a visitor to the area (Alhambra, cathedral, shopping, etc)- is quite a distance away, and you have to walk a rather questionable part of the Grand Via to get from the hotel to that area... many closed (vacant) store fronts, etc... once you get past that area you are back on a main promenade area of the Grand Via that is, once again, lovely- it is that area that the hotel is on. Perhaps said more clearly good part of Grand via (shopping, restaurants, etc), dicey part Grand Via, Good part Grand Via again. Ultimately- there may be a better choice for a hotel closer to where the action is. Read more

Was nervous when booked online with Expedia but was very happy that I chose this place. Cost only 3 Euros (one way) on Blue bus from Granada Airport which dropped off just across and opposit to Hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. Next day had to go to Alhambra very early so we missed breakfast at hotel and took bus (cost 1.4 Euros one way to Alhambra). […] Next day enjoyed very nice buffet breakfast at hotel for about 10 euros each. The train station is only 5 minutes' walk from Hotel. It costs only 1.40 euros one way on local bus westbound to reach Granada Central Bus Station. Bus from Granada to Cordoba (for less than half the train ticket cost) takes same time and they are very comfortable dropping off in Cordoba at Bus/train station (both located same place). The Hotel is in excellent location. The rooms are very clean. The supermarket "carrefour"is just around the corner where one can get food and other items. It is less than 10 minutes by bus to Al Hambra. I will definately stay there again.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a nice decor. It is one of the few hotels in Spain where you actually get a double bed and not two twin beds pushed together. Granada is an incredible place, and the last thing you want to dooms spend time at the hotel. That being said, the hotel staff was friendly and courteous. I found Internet access to be a bit pricy and in the evening then room got pretty hot (this was in October). The AC did not work well and that was a bit frustrating (nothing that could not be fixed […] by opening the balcony windows). The hotel is well situated on one of the main streets in the center of the city, easily walkable to the old parts of town, and walkable (~20 minutes) to the Alhambra. A hundred yards from the train station, easy walking distance from downtown and all attractions, the Vincci is a wonderful place to stay. Glorious views from the windows, charming staff, excellent breakfast. Sign up for the 'sherry special' if you can. A wonderful experience all around! Highly recommended.

The room (a double) was small, the in-suite bar was empty. To charge for internet access is quite standard even in a 5 star hotel, but €5+ just to listen to music for a few hours in the room !! as for the TV channels ? - save the money and buy a new TV on your return home. It'll be cheaper. Add to this the rock hard bed, and the appaling breakfast ( […] a "fried breakfast" does not mean everything has to float in 2" of grease), an indifferent staff, and you'll wonder how this hotel achieved a 4 star rating. We chose this hotel because it has parking. If you are driving to Granada and don't want to drive about in the city centre this hotel is handy - its close to main road into Granada. The hotel was nice but a little dated and scruffy around the edges. Staff were lovely. Nice places close by for breakfast if you are not paying for hotel breakfast

Very positive experience. Excellent value for money. Bit of a walk to buses to main sights but taxis in area excellent value - 7.50 maximum back to hotel. We found taxi best with infant, especially after insisting we take pram for whole day up and down hills and over cobblestones!

The Vincci Hotel Granada was perfect for what we were looking for. I stayed there with a friend to attend a wedding. The location was great, staff very helpful and overall great value. The breakfast was a little over priced but there was a lovely little cafe a 1 min walk away that we went to instead.

One arrives and is met by quite a formal array of suited staff - very much more a business / conference meeting place than a friendly relaxed atmosphere for a tourist. My room was well laid out, though with the usual problem of eco-friendly lighting not being adequate to read by. If I used the air-conditioning it was too loud to sleep through, and opening […] the windows a lot of street noise floats up to the 12th floor - people don't realise how even just talking to their children carries up in certain acoustics! On the whole it was easier to sleep with the window open a little bit, but the bed mattress is particularly hard and I still took a long time to get to sleep, despite being out and about on my feet all day. There was a good choice of pillows, which helped. I was baffled by the TV and in the end would only use the local channels and then not at all - not sure if I could have accessed BBC World News without suddenly having to pay an all-inclusive extra 25 Euros, so steered clear. They would have also charged extra for computer use from the room and there was none available downstairs if you hadn't brought your own laptop for Wi-fi. All in all, a bit mean, as there are no coffee / tea making facilities either. Basically nothing was offered gratis although staff were helpful when I had questions to ask at the desk. What was nice was a lovely bathroom and I needed to use the bath after all the walking I'd been doing on my holiday! Didn't have a great view from the window. Read more

Very resonably priced hotel for the quality. The rooms are well soundproofed so we had a great nights sleep! We only ate in the hotel for breakfast but the buffet had a wide selection of hot and cold foods and quite good quality. Again, for the price I was suprised at how nice it was! There are some nice views from the hotel and skiing is 30-40 minutes […] drive. The hotel itself a bit confusing to find the hotel, even with a GPS, although thats becuase the streets of Granada seem to be undergoing a massive overhall, certainly not the hotels fault. The Hotel is located just beside the colon gran via, 10/15 min walking to the city centre. The staff was friendly and the room clean and confortable. No wow factors but we had a good night rest. the only defects were the room size (a bit too small) and the absence of free wifi in the room (free in the lobby). Breakfast was very nice.

The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the station and 15-20 minutes to City Centre along lovely Gran Via. The Reception Staff were the only less than great aspect of this hotel but I was able to work around them. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel is on floors 11-15 so outlooks are good.

Hotel rooms are only on 13th to 15th floors, so they all have a good view over surrounding apartment buildings. We could see across to the Alhambra. The hotel may be a little far from the major attractions of the old city center for some people, but we found the 20 min walk very relaxing after dinner. The main streets and restaurant areas of Grenada […] are safe for pedestrians to stroll even late at night. This hotel is easy to reach being on one of the main access roads into the city center but rooms are very quiet since they are well above the traffic. Pity that the charge for parking is excessive. I expected some diffiuculty finding the hotel as I do not have a map of Granada. However, being on the main boulevard Constitution Avenue means that it is easy to get into and out of Granada from this hotel. The walk to the the main sights was somewhat longer than I had hoped, taking a full 20 minutes. The room is adequate and the service likewise.

You need to go as far as you can along Avenue de la Constitucion and then double back a couple of blocks via the roundabout. Staff at the hotel were all extremely courteous and helpful.
