All of the top tier Westchase hotels were full, so I selected this place because I had passed it on the highway and it appeared to be a well preserved example of the 50's / 60's era motorcourt. Not a very frequent hoteller, but this place offered just what we needed- a roof, clean bedroom, and a place to shower. Well worth the price in comparison to some of the other places we checked out. If you ain't to upity this might be your place.

I knew this was an economy motel and an older motel. That is what I was looking for. However, upon check in the clerk did not know that I had 2 rooms rented and tried to initally charge me for the rooms before I said they were prepaid. I had to show my receipt. There was somehting on the walls in one of the rooms that looked like "poop". The carpet […] had a few stains, but expected for an older motel. The sheets were clean and the bed appeared to be clean. However, there was NO continental breakfast as advertised and the hotel did not even have any coffee, stating the coffee machine was broke. There was a Burger King in walking distance but no other hotels. There area seemed commercial in nature. The hotel was surrounded by fence and we did feel secure in the neighborhood. There was some trash and cans in the parking lot. The motel could have certainly had a little more upkeep to it. However, they should not advertise a breakfast if they have NOTHING. Not even coffee! Nice location, far enough away from the highway to escape the traffic noise, but situated in such a way to only be 10-15 minutes from most areas of interest. Clean rooms and comfortable atmosphere.

I arrived at 1 a.m., otherwise I would never have spent the night. This is not a place for business travelers. There was no clock, no iron, no wireless, and one coat hanger. From the entrance, I thought the hotel was going to be sort of run down and smelly inside. Once inside my room, it was very clean. The room is old with a few modern updates. But I just wanted a clean room. I don't worry too much about the modern updates and such.

We were told about this place by a friend. When I went online it looked sort of cheesy and cheap and kinda bad. When we arrived the front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The room was more than I expected! It was so nice and smelled good and modern. And it was so inexpensive!!!!!! We had a great stay! We WILL come back.
