"Above and beyond"
Staying at any Hampton is generally a good choice but this particular Hampton inn went above and beyond, the staff were all extremely friendly they have a small toy chest with free stuff for kids, breakfast was qreat and always fresh.

"Affordable pitstop for the night just outside of Montreal."
The Hampton Inn & Suites was an ideal stay for our young family of four plus one Yorkie. We were visiting Montreal, and we needed accommodations just for the night. We opted to stay at this location for two main reasons: (1) the positive experience we have always had with the Hampton Inn brand, and (2) the affordable price for the room and pet fee (which was $50). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in giving us directions to Old Montreal. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and the facility was very clean. Getting to this hotel off the expressway was a small chore, but after navigating the neighborhood, it is easy to maneuver, especially when not during rush hour traffic. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and we would strongly consider staying here again if and when we visit Montreal in the future.

"We would stay there again!"
The hotel offered us a great place to stay considering our large family. The two doubles and pull out sofa made it a comfortable sleeping situation. Also the breakfast was yummy, kids love the waffles and my wife and I love the fresh fruit. Lastly, we really appreciated the cleanliness of the whole hotel, from the dining area to the room.

Appreciated the breakfast (hot and cold) included with the room, although no trays were available to carry food to your table or back to your room. Coffee was available 24 hours, however no basket of fruit as I have seen in other Hampton Inn & Suites locations. We had a non-smoking room that was nestled between and across from smoking rooms - first night of three night stay, we could smell cigarette smoke in our room, however other two nights were fine.

The hotel is located close to many restaurants, the employees were polite and helpful, my only concern was the room cleanliness, too much powder spray on the carpet which I am allergic to. The coffee pot was too dusty therefore I did not feel safe using it.

"What you would expect from a Hampton Inn"
Something you should know! If you book through a travel website, hotel will not award frequent stay points to your account, even though the hotel was booked due to the Grand Prix, and the room rates were very high for a Hampton Inn.Seems a little unfair to me. Overall hotel is decent, staff friendly, shuttle service to airport was complimentary - about a 20 minute ride to airport.

"Nice hotel, far from Downtown Montreal"
The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was pretty good, better than any other breakfast I had in a hotel. However, if you would like to travel to Downtown Montreal it takes about 30 minutes.

"Very well maintained no frills"
We stayed here with our 2 kids (5 and 7) to visit family on the West Island and Laval. Our room was probably the largest we've ever had for the price and was a great value. Impeccably clean, comfortable, nothing terribly fancy. There was also a fridge & sink to make eating in easy. We were given a room on the 1st floor, just a couple of doors down from the pool, where people were congregating and having conversations in the hallway well past 10, making it hard to relax. I was annoyed to discover that style of room was available in the floors above us at the time we checked in. Once we were installed, it was too much trouble to move. Breakfast starts early 6am (great) and has a very limited but absolutely adequate selection of breakfast foods (even hot items). If you are in Montreal, you probably want to go to Chez Cora for breakfast anyway! This hotel is right on the highway in a commercial/industrial area and you can't walk anywhere. (You could visit the Audi dealer next door or walk to the nearby Tim Horton's, but walking on the TransCanada service road is not pleasant). We have also stayed at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire. If you want to compare them, Holiday Inn is across the highway from Fairview Shopping Center (nicer location), has a full service restaurant and better breakfast, rooms are just as clean but slightly higher in design and smaller than Hampton Inn. Both have a small pool.

"nice spacious room."
It is close to the city. The room is spacious and well appointed. Included breakfast was ok. The downside is that is it is has the highway on one side and industrial park on the other. Don't go out for a walk or run.

"Middle of nowhere...."
Much further from downtown than expected......It was little bit noisy during the night...Carpet was kind of wet....Breakfast was not bad...Swimming pool is too crowded and no life guard...But staffs are kind... Overall, I don't want to go back..

I was traveling for two weeks, using different hotels, many of them Hampton Inn. This one was no so good, because when we arrived, the lady in the front desk told me 3 things: 1. Welcome - 2. The pool is out of Service 3. The hotel computer system is broken, so we have no internet or Wi-Fi access. Not good news for me. When I travel with my family, my priorities are pool and wi-fi in each hotel, even if I need to pay a little bit more. Maybe the computer problem is an no controlable issue, but the pool maintenance is absolutely programable in advance.... So, the hotel should notify in his webpage or when you booked in this issue before you pay.

"Nice stay"
My husband and I stayed here with our two children and have no real complaints. Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful with directions and places to eat. We enjoyed the free hot and cold breakfast and the housekeeping staff was also very polite and did a great job cleaning our room. Only minor complaint; Pool was small and a bit murky. Room was clean and spacious. Would def. recommend for others travelling.

"Nice hotel but quite a distance from town."
The Hamption Inn and Suites requires a nonrefundable full payment at the time of booking. Their greatest selling point for us was a free shuttle service to and from the airport (about a 20 minute drive) where you can pick up a bus to the nearest metro station. Once there, getting around is very easy. In the middle of our stay the management decided to change its airport shuttle policy to serve only guests who are arriving or departing. This greatly changes the ease of getting into town. Here are a few suggestions: You can catch the 409 bus until about 19:15 am. The bus stop is a very short walk from the hotel and will drop you off directly at a metro station. If you try to take the 409 back to the hotel you will be dropped of at a shopping mall which is a long walk back to the hotel. Better way to return is by the 72 bus which leaves you with about an easy 10 minute to the hotel.

"Just too far from anything"
The hotel seems new and the staff is doing the best it can. The cute little bar offered a choice of one sandwich (but it WAS a good sandwich). If it were less expensive, the long shuttle ride (eve to the airport) would be worth it.

"didn't meet expectations"
Well when we had asked for a park and fly rate, we were given one which I booked and charged to my credit card. When we got to the hotel they said it was not correct and charged us more. This did not start off the business trip very well.

"Hidden fees ,fake room description"
Didn't mention that the offer for one guest in the room no matter how big it is ,and they charge u extra $20per night for ur partner .And there is no sofa bed in the standard queen as it mention in room description ,u have to pay another $20 to add one . Old bread ,muffin and omelet in breakfast maybe couple of weeks ago.my kids was very upset .Never want to goback again.

Hotel was easily accessed from highway. Located in a (clean) industrial neighbourhood. Meals were expensive, but the breakfast, included in the room's cost, exceeded expectations.

We were not given a Non-smoking room as requested in our booking. Had to spend one night in a stinky smelly room. The hotel then gave us another Non-smoking room for the second night of our stay.

A fun trip to Montreal for a concert and Comiccon with a group of teenagers. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, rooms were clean, and the boys enjoyed the pool. Another great stay - this has become our "go to" hotel for Montreal!

We booked this hotel because of it's location. We have always had good luck with Hampton Suites and this was no different. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, including our room. The pool is small and we didn't use it but it looked nice. The gym is also small but has the basics. Breakfast was generally good, with a hot and cold selection and was always staffed and refilled. I would stay here again.
