"We had a nice stay."
The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Some updating could be done, but overall it was very acceptable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not Worth the Price"
I would compare it to a Motel 6. Tucked behind other businesses. Have to go through a closed down Ihop to even get to the hotel parking lot so it was kind of confusing. Breakfast was alright - nothing spectacular. Not worth the amount we paid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not a good hotel"
need more clean linens, carpet needs to be changed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"OK hotel - not close to Lake/downtown"
Overall my stay was good. It was not close to the lake and downtown but other than that and as described in other posts the weird driveway thru IHOP to get there my stay was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Not very clean really false leading pic of pool and hot tub and the hot tub didnt work right. Customer service was good. Wil not go back againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Marvelous location with a very cheery beakfast room. Only 1 disaster. No lid on coffee pot so coffee did not run thru to pot, instead filled up in container where u put the coffee grounds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Weekend get away"
We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub jets were not in operation but the tub was still warm to soak in. I noticed the room and the halls smelled clean. Thank youGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Cheerful and helpful staff. Hot tub out of order but all in all a pleasant stay. would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The breakfast was great. Nice clean room with fridge and microwave for great price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place to stay"
The rooms are getting a little old but are kept clean. The only negative comment is the rug needs to be deep cleaned; running the sweeper will only do so much!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Made the Blues Event even better !"
Affordable, good location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definately stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Price. Friendly Staff."
Recent reviews said the rooms were a little shabby. I didn't find this to be true. The room was large, comfortable bed, clean. Nothing fancy, but "okay" for the price and the location. The staff were very nice, friendly, and accommodating.Genuine Expedia guest review
Quick ,convenient, quite satisfactory for a quick necessary stop. The neighbor hood has everything you might need. But not a beautiful place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Not good at all i wouldnt stay here again cig stains in bed sheets the tv was tiny pool was gross sick didnt workGenuine Expedia guest review
"not at all close to the lake"
Once we got some light for the room. We saw that the room had not been vacumned, or the floor in the bathroom needed to be washed around the edges.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"NOT in downtown!"
Hotel was a decent value, clean room and friendly staff. However it is very misleading to say this hotel is in downtown Coeur D Alene and within walking distance to the lake! This hotel is right off the freeway and unless you plan to walk at least 20 blocks, it is not by the lake or downtown. Hot tub was nice, but pool was very cold for an indoor pool, […] not heated at all. It is close to restaurants and is an easy drive to downtown area, but the description is misleading. Overall 3 stars. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"do not recommend at all."
This hotel was very dirty and the staff could careless. I ended up checking out early and went to Hampton inn.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Adequate breakfast. Good price. It's a little confusing finding the entrance to the hotel, particularly late at night (there is a small sign by the street telling you to cut through next to IHOP) . I pass through this area fairly regularly and this was our second stay at this hotel. I would definitely stay […] here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I picked this hotel with the impression from the photos it was a newer hotel. It's not. Staff was great. We had a small trailer and there was plenty of space for parking. The room was old. I found a hair in the shower and a peanut butter cup on the floor. Also, we had a fold out couch day bed we wanted for our daughter but ended up not using due to […] not being sure the sheets were changed from its last use. They didn't appear dirty, but the bed was far from being made as they were just a big heap in the middle. Cleaning definitely needs improvement. We will be staying elsewhere next time we are in Cda. "Central Location, Friendly Staff"
The room was clean, the desk personnel were friendly and helpful. A safe affordable option. Nothing too fancy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Dear Sir / Ms, After working in the Hotel business for 18 years at the Las Vegas Hilton, I believe I can state with some amount of authority that your best asset is by far your employees ! Shenna, on day shift, and Dana, on night shift both were exceptional. How did you find not just one, but two such perfect employees. Both were courteous, knowledgeable, […] helpful, efficient. The room was exceptionally clean. This was our first visit to Coeur D' Alene, and our first visit to a Comfort Inn. THANK YOU for making this our most memorable vacation ever, Jerry and Karen Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

have to say they put me on the first floor , next to ice machines, and back into breakfast area, very noise, ice falling @ 3a, kids and dogs barking early, my fault for not changing to second floor,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reservations don't mean a thing"
I reserved adjoining rooms but was told when we got there that there were no more left, they had given them all away. I told her I had reserved them and she very flippantly said well they are all gone already. We were there to check in between 3 and 330. I guess we should have gotten there a day early to check in??Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"it is what you expect"
room was not dirty not unclean, but well worn. Staff was great . Breakfast was oknothing dnamic. elevator was working ,but floor was dirty andrug hadn't been washed in a long time. "Worst pillows in history"
All in all the room was fine, but the pillows were way too short for the bed, way too thick, and extremely hard. We also had a mini fridge that sounded like a mack truck in the room with us! The room was clean, and the staff was friendly, but I don't think I'd stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"NOT BY THE LAKE"
THEY SAID IT WAS BY THE LAKE BUT IN FACT WAS AT LEAST 20 BLOCKS AWAY. WE WERE LOOKING FOR A HOTEL CLOSER TO DOWNTOWN AND THE LAKE BUT NOT THIS ONE. ALSO HAD TO DRIVE THRU I-HOP PARKING LOT TO GET TO IT. OVER ALL VERY DISAPPOINTING.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok hotel, nothing special."
Hotel was ok, nothing special, but not terrible either. Very difficult entrance to the hotel - you have to go through an IHOP parking lot to get to the hotel. Hallways and elevator were dingy, but the room was better. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Not in the best part of town. A ways from the lake and downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff was great, very friendly no problems with check in at all and she was very helpful. Hotel was in good shape and the room was great. The breakfast was well stocked and when they ran out they quickly refilled it. It runs till 9:30 so no rush to get up earlier then normal just to catch breakfast. Front desk staff very helpful!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"If free breakfast is important, check somewhere el"
I found the hotel adequate for a 2 night stay. It was basically a place to rest your head and freshen up. The room and accommodations were very basic and filled the needs of our visit. The morning breakfast was "not" a highlight of the stay and the second day we when out rather than wait for the staff to refill the coffee urns and the other basic 'ingredients" […] of the breakfast. There was very limited seating and we actually stood outside to eat our food. If this an important feature, you might want to look elsewhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I'd Go Somewhere Else"
We booked this stay at the Comfort Inn in Coeur D'Alene as a stopover. Overall the hotel had a icky, dingy feel to it. You can see filth on the door jams, baseboards and throughout the hotel. In our room, you could see filth in the crevices on the floor, in the grout etc. The entire place needs a hard, deep cleaning. The breakfast was typical, but the […] layout was completely chaotic. It was crowded and people could not easily get in and out of the very small eating area which was adjacent to the check-in counter. At least one of the waffle machines did not work, and they were constantly out of supplies. The female employee who was at the front desk was also responsible for the breakfast. There is no way to do both those tasks in a timely way. Every was constantly bumping into each other. This was the second or third worst hotel experiences of my life and I absolutely would not stay at this hotel again. I may not stay in Comfort Inns any more because of this experience. In summary, go somewhere else. By the way, you need to go through the IHOP parking lot to get to the hotel. Strange and confusing layout. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great location, service and breakfast"
Breakfast was nice, egg sausage, yogurt, bread, donuts, blueberry and regular waffle. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. . It isn't the nicest comfort inn I've stayed at but I would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
old hotel to much for the price will never stop there again dreadful experienceGenuine Expedia guest review
As noted in an earlier review, finding the driveway was very difficult, especially at night. Again, you have to go into the IHOP to get to the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was fine. The staff were helpful, and the included breakfast worked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not bad at all"
it was fine but a bit overpriced for the quality. we chose it for the proximity to Silverwood and it was only about a 20 minute drive.Genuine Expedia guest review
"economic hotel for everyone !!"
grate staff, economic hotel, good location close to restaurants and shops.Genuine Expedia guest review
"At least they had a vacancy"
Several signs around hotel warning that they were not responsible for anything that got stolen from room or parking lot. Not sure what that is supposed to mean but did not add to comfort factor. Minimalist breakfast with weird eggs.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel near Fairgrounds/Government offices"
I drove overnight from Oregon to Coeur D'Alene. I had booked a room online for arrival later that day, but really needed to shower and freshen up before an 11 am meeting. I called the hotel and they were so accommodating! The first room that checked out they rushed to have cleaned and I was in a room by 8:30! I also had to bring my little Chihuahua's […] on the trip with me (no babysitter) and this hotel is pet friendly. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well, with plenty of variety. And there's an IHOP right in the parking lot! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Surprisingly Quiet Near Downtown and off Freeway"
I just needed a place to stay while catching up with friends in Couer d'Alene. This place is fine - quiet, clean, generic and close enough to the lake to get there for fun & recreation. The hotel rooms in the area were about sold out for this beautiful, hot August weekend. The price for this room was exorbitant - way overpriced for the quality. Fortunately […] I was able to cash in my free night's stay to help offset the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"NOT Near Lake Coeur D'Alene"
The hotel is just off the Interstate in a shopping district, at least a few miles from the lake.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice counter person ...... I be able to check in early. It is very nice breakfast. Quite and clean room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The people working were helpful. The hotel was quiet, clean, and close to Silverwood. What else can you ask for? Free breakfast was a nice plus also.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is a little over-priced for what it offers. Our stay was just okay. We arrived very late, and that was not a problem, but check-in took a very long time (maybe the guy was just tired). The location of the pool was very strange (just off the lobby next to the breakfast area) and it was undergoing some kind of maintenance. When we walked into […] our room, we were assaulted with an overwhelming perfume-y scent. I don't know if that's how every room smells after it's cleaned or if they were trying to cover something up. We were able to air it out a bit before going to bed, but I could still smell it on my clothes after we'd left the hotel. My other complaint was be the breakfast. It was very crowded, and most of the food was picked over and not very well stocked. Yes, it's a free continental breakfast, but it could be immensely improved.
