The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful whenever we needed anything. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is very close to the beach for the price. The pool is very small but it works and the parking situation kinda sucks but it is bearable. We will be staying here from now on when we go to OC as long as the prices don't go up too drastically.

This hotel is in a great location. It's a block from the boardwalk. Parking was never a problem as they have a lot right across the street and there is some on-street parking right in front of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The efficiency size kitchen was stocked w/cooking and eating utensils, microwave, dish towels, etc. The full size fridge came in handy as we were on a tight budget and brought a lot of groceries with us. The staff were always pleasant and accommodating. We will go back.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we became worried by the condition of the hotel. It looked like it had seen better days. The pool area was rather small (and unheated, as we found out later). The hotel's halls remind me of corridors I've seen in ferry boats: narrow, dirty, and in need of new paint. But when we saw the room itself, our expectations were lowered enough that we were quite pleased. It had everything we needed was quite clean. No complaints there. The walls seemed like they were rather thin, though, as we sometimes heard noise from the adjoining rooms. Overall, it's not a bad place to stay in Ocean City. A word of warning to visitors, though: there is a Howard Johnson's parking lot adjacent to the hotel. We first parked there, and then realized our mistake. There is a small area along Baltimore Ave (northbound) which is in front of the hotel's main entrance. It's best to park there, check in, unload all your stuff, then park your vehicle in the hotel lot across the street. Oh, and only one parking pass is assigned per room.

The room was adequate. Being that close to the beach, a dryer would have been real nice. Our room was directly across from and in front of the office, so we had to keep the blinds closed to have some privacy. The hotel is located very close to the boardwalk, but all the activity is at the other end of the boardwalk.

This hotel could improve on the customer service, we called for towels and it took them into the next day to bring fresh towels, my husband actually had to call them again. The bath mat in the tub was worn and should have been changed, the shower curtain was not clean. The beds OMG!!!!! the bed was so hard after I'd slept for a couple of hours I actually woke up wondering if I had been transferred to a local prison, they are just like a slab of concrete, they are hard (not firm)hard beds and not in a good way, very uncomfortable stay!!!!!

My 11 year old daughter and I loved the hotel. The 26 block walk up the boardwalk was a little rough but there is a tram that costs only 3$ each. We never had correct change for this. There was a full sized 'fridge and 2 burner stove, dishes, utensils, microwave, toaster. We'll stay there again only next time we'll go grocery shopping so we can use the stuff. We made our reservations close to our intended departure date, therefor not many things were available. This hotel exceeded our expectations since it was only a 2 star establishment. The location was excellent- 1/2 block to the beach and boardwalk. Lots of restaurants nearby and things to do to have fun- Jolly Rogers' water park, Splash Mountain was awesome! The only negative was the uncomfortable beds- definitely need new mattresses. The efficiency room we had was perfect since it had a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. We usually go to Florida in Sept. since OC is so expensive in Aug., but this was very affordable and gave us a memorable vacation.

I really wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel for a family stay but it was one of only two available for the timeframe I needed with a suite. Basically, if you are fine with a no-frills hotel with a somewhat dated interior, then this will suit you fine. The rooms were clean and I was able to have a limited view of the ocean from my room on the 4th floor. The pool was clean but was somewhat sandy towards the end of the day due to guest use after spending time at the beach - then again, this is expected as it is a beach hotel. Great location only feet away from the north end of the boardwalk. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are many nearby. The hotel parking lot is located across the street and I had no problem finding a spot. There is only one elevator so try to avoid checking out exactly at 11AM when it appears everyone is trying to do the same at the same time. Otherwise, my family (inluding 5 young children) enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was the most reasonably priced for what was available at the time I booked it. Ocean City hotels in general are becoming way over-priced; however, this hotel had a lot to offer for the price. The full kitchen in the room really came in handy, and the balcony was very large. Unfortunately, the overall room service maintenance was questionable. The bedding had stains on them and the couch was used for suitcases because we were scared to sit on it.

I found the Casablanca Oceanside to be a very good hotel for the money. The fact that we had an effiency room added to the value by allowing us to prepare our own meals in the room, although some would not consider that a plus while on vacqation. I like the fact that it's located at 24th St. because you're still within walking (or tram) distance of the pier, but it's very quiet at night. A definite plus for families. All in all, I'd definitely recommend it to my friends and would considering staying there again.
