Hotel staff at all levels are very poorly instructed how to deal with customers. The night we checked the front parking entrance was flooded do to a rain storm the previous day...not that day the one before, now it was after dark and no lighting at entrance to parkiing lot. No warning signs nothing to state there was deep water. Luckily a large pick […] up drove out and it was up to the floor of the PU. We are told when we called to drive to the Walmart (which is almost a mile away) and a van would come get us. Well, that happened, the driver (aka as security guard which was unhappy having to do this task). Shows up did nothing, as we had large suitcases and various bags, you'd think he'd help. My husband is 75 and not in good health. Van in horrible shape. Other guests had already done this same trip in van. When we get to the hotel had asked for 1st floor (no elevator) got 2nd fl. finally got 1st fl.room. Told we'd could come any time to be taken back to car. We did that at 9AM the next day. Now we get there is no one to take us manager busy on personal buisness, and so many people on vacation someone might be able to drive us "maybe' after 10AM. I walked to go get our car at Walmart, thank God it was still there and in one piece. I have never written a comment about a hotel like this before. From the manager down the poor service really is an issue for this hotel. Rooms basic, it is really for long stays. But do to a emergency last minute trip we had to be in this area of LV. Read more

the place is a little bit on the old side, but the room was good, except for no tv in the room the tv is in the kitchen living room area. the breakfast is good but a small room with lotys of people and no many tables. Obverall we will stay again if there is nothing better and cheaper, not bad for the price point.

Blinds were broken and/or missing slats, they did come and fix them. Room was sickening smelly - obviously NOT a smoke free room! The hotel is a nice place, it was convenient for me due to the location near the base. The rooms are comfy but the cleanliness and the maintenance service is awful. Sometimes they dont even go at all. Other than that I liked my stay here like I said, due to the comfort of the rooms.

For the price, you cannot find a nicer hotel stay. The room was "roomy" and clean. The staff was extremely professional. I would highly recommend staying here. It's in the perfect location if you plan to go to the races - as a matter of fact, I found out that the fire crews for the racetrack stay here on a regular basis.

The front desk is really nice and patient. The location is far from the strip across an air force base. The front desk person said mostly military personnel are living there while waiting for their place inside the base. Only 20 rooms are non smoking. The room is pretty decent and clean. Smell old.

Great experience - we came from Circus Circus (which we enjoyed, but was exhausting)and were so glad to have a couple days relief from all the hustle, bustle & excitement of the strip. The hotel staff allowed us to have an early check in, so that we didn't have to occupy ourselves in the heat between hotel stays, and allowed us to check out late so […] that we didn't have to pack our car and leave in a rush. Kids got their own room, as did mom and dad, everyone loved the pool, and the continental breakfast was decent (and was a nice change from Circus Circus, where few amenities are provided because they want you to patronize their restaurants, etc.). The only downside was that we were in Vegas during a heat wave, and the air conditioning was not very strong, so during the day the room was quite warm. Still, I would gladly stay here again! Room had living room with sofa and kitchenette. Spacious and clean only a pot or pan was missing, other ways we could have cooked. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Big laundry room - could do our laundry in no time! Family liked the pool very much. Hotel is ideal for family with kids.

The Hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. It is very old with old furniture. The bed was very uncomfortable. Needs lots of upgrades. Room service was told to come ack to clean the room and they never did during our stay.

The continental breakfast was minimal (a few muffins) as compared to the published picture of the breakfast (cereal and milk) in the hotel promo pictures. The bottled water was a bonus!

There was plenty of space in the 2 bedroom suite. I love the separation and privacy of 2 rooms. The kitchen was convenient (bring dish soap & a dish rag. Beds were a little hard. Carpet & walls a little banged up & patched here & there. The walls are a little thin. I could here the late night wrestling moves of the inhabitants upstairs. On a positive […] note, one couldn't tell this was a pet friendly place. All dogs were quiet & the rooms didn't smell or contain dog hair (a big concern for my son with allergies). The breakfast spread was better than expected (mini bagels, Thomas' English muffins, doughnuts, muffins, frozen waffles, cereal (not generic), & the coffee was good for a hotel (usually they don't serve the better quality coffee when you are at a non-chain or high end hotel). They always had everything stocked. The downside was that it was really warm in the dining area (no air) and there were no fruit (just a sour orange) or yogurt options. The staff was friendly & helpful. The pool & jacuzzi was a decent size. I didn't use the laundry facility, however I did have to go into that area for the ice machine (only 1 ice machine in the whole complex). The laundry facility was clean & a convenient idea for people staying longer. There was a security gurad roaming the parking lot all day and night (+). Negative was the parking availability. Not a very big parking lot. Overall a good place to stay with family for 2+ days or more. I'd go back! Read more

We needed a place near The Speed Way to attend the Mopars Cars show & races in Las Vegas, We had RSVP with Nellis Suites at the Maingate for a king size bed , after climbing 3 flyers of stairs 2 times with 2 heavy luggages , we finally found our room & is was a 2 twin beds room , we immediately call the front desk he then told us there weren't any vacant […] room left, except one handicap room with a queen bed, with just a shower & no tub, we agree to switched, we then haul the luggages back down to the bottom floor ,to our surprised the room was pleasantly clean , the decorates of the room was very out dated , I guess you get what you paid for,we were mislead, & were told this hotel was build in 2001, yeah! right !! this was our first time & will be our last time staying at this Hotel, NO I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS LOW END HOTEL TO ANY ONE !!! Somewhat disappointing that I paid Expedia for the hotel stay and then the hotel charged an additional 5.00 per day for an Admin. fee and was told all Hotels charge this. I never had a Hotel charge 5.00 per day after I paid in advance. We were woke up daily at 6:30am by Revile trumpets from the Nellis AFB near by. The hotel room was not very clean or comfortable, the carpet looked like they never vacuumed, the bathroom light made such a loud noise that you would rather shower in darkness. ROOMS WERE GREAT, FRIENDLY STAFF THE ONLY THING IS TO ASK FOR A ROOM THAT DOESN'T HAVE A WEEKLY GUEST AS THEY SEEM NOT TO CARE IF THEY ARE LOUD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THE FREE BREAKFAST ON THE WEEKDAYS IS NOT TOO GOOD. ONLY TWO KINDS OF LITTLE MUFFINS AND MILK.

The hotel was convenient to were I was working that day. The things we were not thrilled about; No Kleenex, or paper towels, just TP. The bed was too hard for my wife to get much sleep. when you have small kids you need to place them on the first floor because we stay on third floor and the children were running up and down all morning Also the cleaning lady comes very early and she does not come back to clean the room 9am is too early to clean after guest is been out all night

Right across the street from Nellis AFB and the perfect hotel for Aviation Nation. I had two rooms separated with a full size fridge, dishwasher, oven, cabinets, and more. It looked like a small apartment. I would recommend taking public transportation there since taxis would cost a lot from the airport.
