This hotel is amazing, staff are extremely helpful, rooms lovely, buffet breakfast spot on, beach great, pool great. A place to return too for sure. The gym is also great, with a good selection on cardio and weights, gardens lovely, the location is also just prefect
"As close to perfect as one can expect in the real world!"

The property is flawless, the grounds immaculately kept, the staff is extremely accommodating. The hygiene standard is superior and our room on the club floor was excellent with views of the water and the lawn. The breakfasts were wonderful and the small touches distinguish this facility from others. For instance, while lounging by the main pool, an attendant passes by to clean our sunglasses! He even cleaned my swimming googles! Also provided were attendants brought around fresh cut fruit and waited for each person to eat it in order to collect the picks for safety reasons. The seafood restaurant is fabulous as is the Moroccan restaurant, Tagine. The Moroccan hammam was an unforgettable experience- highly recommended. The only down side is that beds are quite hard and only feather pillows are available (a concern for some but not all).
"Best 2 week beach based holiday EVER!!!"

We wanted sun, sand, sea, a few things to go do/see with a top notch hotel - we hit the jackpot here! Everything was just perfect; from the room, view, amenities, restaurant choice/standard, private beach, loungers, pool, staff, HOT sea, sizzling sunshine and loads to go out and see/do. Our 1st time in Dubai and LOVED IT! Great base this hotel which you could quite easily not leave for 2 weeks and just relax and get a tan whilst experiencing top notch service throughout. We managed to throw in many outings and still feel we got the most out of the One & Only (we stayed in The Palace) as it has so many restaurants to choose from (we tried them all including one of the three on at the One & Only Palm via their dedicated water bus service) - all were amazing. Loved the fact that whatever time we walked to the beach, there were sunbeds available (maybe due to the 40-50C heat putting some off?) but we like it that way :) Cannot state how perfectly this hotel met our expectations from a friend recommendation, we will most certainly return. NB Best ever but also the most expensive - you get what you pay for though :)

We arrived via BA in Dubai and jumped into a local taxi (only £14 or so). Upon arrival at the hotel (9am), we received a very warm welcome from Nancy, we just sat down with a complementary Cappuccino and danish and relaxed. Then Adonis came over and gave us a run down on our stay, the restaurant options and activities available including complementary tickets to the Atlantis water park. We then were given a place to change and got straight on with relaxing by the pool. Again every member of the pool team was friendly, helpful and talkative, chilled water every 30 minutes, sun glasses cleaned, ice towels and chilled fruit. It made you feel very special. Recommendations at the resort - The beaches bar and grill was superb, on a half board you get 160AED to go against the Al a carte menu, we had an Australian steak and desert which was around this price before drinks. The speed boat - My wife was very nervous about going on a speed boat after a bad previous experience, we picked up the Gold speed boat from the hotels jetty and Raj could not have been more considerate to my wife's fears. He was awesome, avoiding any jumping. We went down to the Burj Al Arab then back past the hotel to the Marina and then finally over to the One&only on the Palm. We did this at sundown for 500AED and it was spectacular... We have stayed at the Atlantis and Jebel Ali, but for us the location of the Royal Mirage in it's green oasis, combined with an amazing team of happy and helpful staff, make this the best choice for couples in Dubai. We could not recommend highly enough and will be going back...

Just returned from our holiday at The Residence,we stayed for 8 days, We found the rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Room service efficient a well stocked mini bar and even a spray to enhance sleep! The service at the pool was first class the staff Ken and Xavier were so nice to us,they made sure we were hydrated and comfortable offering regular cold water, drinks, fruit and ice cream,The managers were visible making time to walk around, every day they would ask how our stay was going and if we needed anything, the were so approachable even the chef from The Dining Room had a walk around the pool area introducing himself to guests and gaining feedback on his food which we could only describe as excellent..We ate at Nina, the service and food we cannot fault. This hotel is all about making the guest the centre of everything they do and any requests we had were responded to promptly and politely,Made a visit to the hairdresser who made a great job fixing my hair for an evening out, already planning a return visit later this year. "Great hotel... Shame about the noise"

Really nice hotel.. Beautiful grounds and the architecture of the hotel is first class. The service is excellent and everything works 'well' in the hotel. Only issue we have is that the beach facing rooms are within 500-700yards of the sea which is loaded with docked boats and jet skis.. Jet skis are ok until about 9/10pm when they tend to die off however the boats dock directly outside the private beach and then play music from 12am until must have been 3 or 4 am and then came back on at 6am!.When I say music i mean to the point you can feel the baseline inside the room! Crazy! Then at around 730ish our neighbors room had some kind of repairs taking place where 5-6 workers decided to walk in and out of the room slamming the door repeatedly. We only stayed for a night but it was meant to be a night of relaxation... id have gotten more sleep at home! Which is such a shame as overall the hotel is up there with the best I have stayed in.

"The perfect oasis to relax away from the city"

Just minutes from the New Dubai Marina, away from indiscreet eyes and hidden by beautiful gardens and palm trees that touch the sky there is One&Only Royal Mirage. A magical place that seems to be too good to be real. At check-in you are greeted with a smile by the friendly staff and you are invited to take a seat meanwhile all the paperwork takes place. Shortly after you are offered a small nice refreshing iced-tea and a cold face towel. After, you are escorted to your room. The rooms in the Arabian Court are beautiful and very cozy, with big marble bath, nice terrace and fresh fruits and water on the table. The sleeping quality is great as the room is very well isolated and the beds are very comfortable. In the morning you wake up - once the window is open - to the singing birds. Relaxing on the private beach or by the pool is great. All the stuff is extremely nice and friendly. The beach service is outstanding. Your towels are taken to the sun-chairs you prefer, right after you sat down your sunglasses will be cleaned. During the day you will be provided with fresh fruit skewers, ice-cold water and refreshing face towels to cool down from the hot Arabian sun. Not even at home you are being so spoiled - it is simply, amazing. The resorts offer many different restaurants, but when at the beach opt for the Beach Bar & Grill at The Palace - beautiful restaurant, great service, the food is delivered fast and is delicious. Before sunset head to The Jetty Lounge to relax a have a nice refreshing cocktail, while you see the sun setting over The Palm and the sea start glowing gold. We left the resort with many good memories and next time, when back in Dubai, One&Only Royal Mirage will be our only option of hotel to stay at.

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Mirage Residence in February 2014 for 10 days. We found the food absolutely fabulous. The chef was very approachable and explained in detail all we wanted to know about the various courses. The staff were all very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay such a great experience. We were treated like royalty and can't wait to go back again next year. The cleanliness of the rooms were of a very high standard and in the garden we had cold towels twice a day, a selection of fruit and got our spectacles cleaned twice a day. Alan and Hanne Barratt
