Not a place for children interested in swimming . Very small pool, cannot jump from side , someone looking over your shoulder about pool. Had trouble getting room cleaned. Front desk staff was awesome!

We stayed at the hotel for a graduation at the Marine base. Our stay at the hotel was for one night in which we had no issues. The hotel made the early morning check out speedy so that we could get to the graduation on time.

Finding the hotel was a little challenging, but once arrived it was great. The hotel staff was friendly, the room felt amazing, and he indoor pool was a major plus. It was nice that the location was near a Walmart and best buy. Great hotel, wouldn't mind staying again

It wasn't modern enough for us. Room could use a complete renovation. We asked front desk to fix/change shower head. Yes, was answer then never did anything to fix it. They were good "yes" men. I wish you would post this review so buyer will beware. Stay elsewhere.

One of the nicest and most courteous hotels I have stayed at. I cannot think of a single item that this most efficient and personable crew did not try to do to accommodate my family. The breakfast was very good nutrientially and appetizing as well. The cost for this clean and well maintained room was also very reasonable.

Our room was spacious and quiet and beds were very comfortable. Good location. When we walked in, it smelled very fresh and clean, however, the bathtub needed to be re-caulked due to mildew. The continental breakfast was decent but less variety than most comparable hotels. Overall, a good experience, and we would consider staying here again.

This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in many hotels all over the world. The management knows people need a place to stay for Marine graduation, so they give as little as possible. The rooms(we had 3) were so dirty, hair stuck on the shower wall, drains in tubs didnt work so you'd stand in 2 feet of water(which was horrible […] for the next person to shower in), moldy coffee pods in the coffee maker and the worst...a pair of large men's underwear hanging in plain sight. We had stayed at a Country Inn and Suites in Asheville NC and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of service and upkeep. To me, that warranted another try with this same hotel chain on our trip to Beaufort SC…BIG MISTAKE. Although the staff was cordial, they could not make up for the overall conditions of the facility. The indoor pool, which […] was a key selling point, was closed for repairs. The workout room had the TV missing. The furniture in our room was dinged up pretty badly and the bed, which was as hard as a rock, squeaked by merely turning over. Warm cookies, which are the mainstay for this hotel chain, where far and few between. Lastly, the breakfast was the pits! No room to eat and not stocked at all. We stayed for a weekend and the last morning we completely by passed the free breakfast for IHOP. That was the best move for the entire trip. My advice is to pay a bit more for Hampton Inn. The only good thing about the hotel was the friendly staff. We found it lacking in the areas of upkeep, cleanliness, the bed was the worst I had ever slept on. Housekeeping was minimal. I went back down to the front desk and asked if we could get a roll away bed for him.The woman was so gracious, she made up a bed and brought it up to our room ASAP. I wish we could of seen her before we left because I wanted to extend our thanks to her for the extra added comfort to our stay at Country Inn. I would recommend this Hotel for anyone that is headed to Beaufort, SC. The location was great, the breakfast buffet was nice for us early risers and it was a nice quiet area. We were only 5 miles to Parris Island, a few miles to old part of Beaufort and not far from any resteraunts or shopping malls. My parents weren't able to get a room at the Country Inn because they tried to make last minute reservations. So they were only able to get a room at the Sleep Inn. This still worked out because it was just a block down from us. I must say, after seeing their room, I really appreciated ours even better! Thank you Comfort Inn -Beaufort SC. The day I checked out I was treated like I was a pain in the a$& and the lady on the desk at 5:55 am was rude and ignorant and has no business being in a customer service role. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall the stay was good. The room needed some TLC though. Wall paper needs replacing. Light fixture in bathroom was taped up. Lightbulbs in hallway needed replacing. Nothing a good maintenance person couldn't do to fix everything.

I have reason to come to Beaufort quite often. I have stayed in the Country Inn Suites numerous times and always been very satisfied. The last couple of times have been very disappointing. I was there for three nights and the last night there were no towels in the bathroom. I was told that there were no clean towels. The staff seemed to be very limited. […] There was not an attendant in the dining room and the food was not kept replenished. Two mornings there were no eggs, the potatoe cakes were all crumbled and the sausage was not well done. The pastry case was not kept supplied, the napkins were not kept supplied. It seemed that the staff member who worked the dining area was also working the front desk. The hotel had lost it's first class appeal. The grounds were in need of attention. The room we were given was on the main floor adjacent to the pool and gym. As soon as we opened the door we were greated by a strong odor of mold. When I brough this to the attention to the desk clerk he offered to place a second"dehumidifier" in our room! Doors slamming, people running in the hallways - VERY thin doors, would help if they replaced all the doors actually. Door to indoor pool open all hours we were there so steam in the hallways. Very convenient if you are attending a Marine base graduation ceremony.

this was our 2nd stay here for the Lt Dan Band Weekend. the front desk has always had outstanding service. the rooms are clean and comfy. Close enough to grab a cab into downtown and walking distance to a few fast food places for a late night snack. we will def be making reservations for next years trip
