The hotel is completely sold out 38 weeks a year for the Pariss island graduations. The staff is very friendly and anricipates the needs and questions of the guests staying there for the Marine graduation. For example, there is a Marine on post in the lobby to answer any questions. The issue is that the Hotel is always so busy is it almost delapidated, if not fully depreciated. All of the vending machines were empty. The breakfast offerings were inadequate and poorly stocked given the masss of Graduation attendees all trying to eat and leave at the same time. The rooms were dirty - as if the cleaning staff had no supervision or were understaffed. My sense was that the staff was working hard - they were just not given adequate resources from the owners.

We really enjoyed our stay and was not too much of a distance from the parris island United States Marine Recruit Depot, which is the reason we stayed here. The rooms as well as the building were quite clean, the breakfast was quite good, only dirt we saw were the actual carpets in the room, vacummed but needed to be cleaned. The price was a bit steep, but was worth the stay. would gladly recommend this hotel

The hotel was in a great location for us. We did find trash in a drawer, part of a bug in the "info notebook", and the floors could have used a lot more vacuuming. The front desk folks were nice, though.

Hotel was close to Marine Corp base at Parris Island. The hotel was geared for Marine Corp graduates families. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had Frig and microwave. Who could ask for more, George Handler/Inman SC

Only problem we encountered was no internet service. Wireless didn't work in the room and the computer in the lobby was very slow and finally quit working. The morning staff knew how to fix it but the young man working the evening/night shift didn't know how and didn't find out how. Consequently we were without communication the night we were there. Internet access is important to travellers. Don't advertise internet connections if you aren't going to provide it. Otherwise the hotel was excellent and I would recommend it.

Room was clean. Close proximity to shopping/restaurants and Parris Island. Ecomonical pricing. Other than the rooms needing a carpet update or vigorous steam cleaning, satisfactory overall.

The room had a odor. It smelled like a kids or someone had urinated in the bed.. My two girls and I fell asleep in one bed. I would never stay in this hotel again. I visit the area more than 3 times a month. There are new and improved hotels in the area.

I thought it was a great room for the money and suited my needs perfectly and it had many accomodations. Only downfall was that the carpet could be updated.

What a remarkable stay with fantastic staff! Due to the business of my trip I had to wake up earlier than the continental breakfast started. However it was opened 30 minutes early just for me. The hotel manager Shiv(spl?) gave wonderful suggestions for lunch, dinner and play. I also witnessed him going out of his way to help numerous other guests. I travel a lot and I say with conviction that I would encourage everyone heading to Beaufort to stay here.

First night the AC made a terrible ticking noise and was not cool. They fixed it the next day. Very disappointed in the condition of the walls and flooring, clean but not comfortable. The staff were great!

Very dirty floors and walls. Bed in first room was broke, bath in both rooms had an infestation of mildew and mold. I wouldn't let my kids take their shoes off becuase of the floor. I couldn't believe the condition of this hotel. We left 30 minutes after our arrival.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved that the bedroom was seperate at the back with its own television with a sitting area up front with an additional television. Room was quiet and bed very comfortable... best night sleep I have had recently! A beautiful room overall.

The room was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were moved to another room due to the tub stopping up and that was fine. But the room we received we were unable to rest due to the noise above us. It was a group of kids and they were very loud, all night long up until we checked out at 5a.m. I would recommend this hotel to my friends because the overall stay was nice.

My husband and 4 month old son stayed a total of 5 nights at this hotel and were very surprised when the last 3 nights in a row the fire alarm went off between 12 midnight and 3am. The first night we were to evacuate. On a chilly night in April we found ourselves standing in the parking lot very confused. All was cleared and we were sent back inside. Very next night same thing happens. Front desk stops us and claims it was an error. Very next night same thing happens and we call down to another excuse. With an infant calm nights are rare but this topped the cake! We were very happy to be home finally where the blood curdling siren was no more. On top of it all we were charged more going thru hotels.com than the regular hotel's price. Not a deal at all any way you look at it!!

Hairs in the shower, shower wall, sink, vanity, around the toilet. Unknown pill found in the night stand. Thank goodness I did not have my 5 year old with us! Bed making sub standard, did not vacuum around the sides of the bed. No concern shown when reported to staff the night of the stay, told to report to the day manager who showed no real concern. We were told to report the problem to Hotel.com for refund. I pulled back on the bed spread for the second bed to get the pillows and it looked like someone had sat on it, the sheets were wrinkled and not straightened.

The room was fine. Public areas need new carpeting desperately on the first floor. Pillows on the bed were way too squishy. Had to use 3 to be comfortable. I liked having a microwave & fridge in the room!

Indoor pool was not heated and was very cold. Also, The beds are hard. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast selection was extra special. Oh, Do not stay in a room on the Boundary street side unless you like hearing very loud motorcycles from the bar across the street.

We stayed with our two children for the weekend. The staff was very friendly and the hotel clean and quiet. The children loved the pool and the continental breakfast. We would definately stay again.

Nice indoor pool with hot tub. The breakfast could have a little more option. The beds weren't as comfortable as some of the other hotels in the area. But overall satisfied.

Booked last minute, and I was a little worried because of other reviews I read. I was very pleased with this hotel- the pool was clean, the room clean and comfortable, the staff friendly. This hotel is right down the street from home, and I will stay here again!
