Quiet at night. We don't stay at lodging while on vacation. We were on the go much during the day so evening was nice on deck with limited noise. Poolside activities nice and sunsets. Would return again.

This is our 3rd stay in this complex. Nice private condo units located a short distance from downtown Kona. One bedroom unit was nicely furnished, nothing fancy but nice. Mornings on the lanai with coffee served well. Nice view of the Pacific, quiet relaxing place to stay. Full kitchen and nice living area for relaxing. Pool overlooks the ocean. Only […] the north pool was open as the south pool was closed for renovation. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked. Note: this is a condo unit and not a full service hotel, as such guests are on their own to do for themselves more than a full service hotel. I was disappointed with this hotel's room quality. We had to move rooms because the first one was so nasty (mold, dirty carpet, broken cupboard doors). The second one still smelled like mold and faintly of cat urine, but at least I wasn't afraid to take a shower in the bathroom.

This was our first visit at the Sea Cliff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit for a week and my family really enjoyed the facility. The unit we stayed in had a queen bed in one room and full size bed in the 2nd room. It wasn't a major problem but I had called a couple of days earlier and requested that the 2nd room have 2 twin beds as my sons prefer their […] own beds. When we got there they didn't have any units with the twin beds available so they remedied it by bringing us a rollaway. The unit was clean and well laid out. Little things could have been better, the fans didn't work but it wasn't a big deal because we had AC and the weather was wonderful. Since we rented a car, it wasn't too inconvenient, but if you don't mind the walk (20 or so minutes) to where all the shops and restaurants are, then no problem. We rented a car so we could drive around the island. They normally have 2 pools, but one was under renovation. It would have been nice to have 2, since we had little kids who were more interested […] in going to the pool than to the beach...(but if you don't care for the pool, there are some smaller beaches nearby that people can enjoy) We appreciated some of the free programs they provided (lei making with complimentary coffee/juice, hawaiian pastry, and fruits). The concierge was very helpful whether we were booking a luau or just asking for a place to get a quick bite. Overall, the stay was very comfortable with very minor complaints. Read more

The room had a musty smell that was somewhat overpowering. The smell got into our clothes in the clothers drawers & everywhere else. The ceramic tile shower surround had mold and mildew. The room was serviced every three days. The hotel had enough towels for three days. You had to call to request towel service. The refrigerator was tilted to one side so the door wouldnt close unless pushed and some of the kitchen drawers were dirty inside. The location of the hotel is close enough to the nightlife and local beach diving spots. The area is quiet and the small grassy area near the pool is beautiful to watch the sunsets if you don't have an ocean room. The hotel grounds were well maintained and bugs were at a minimum. Our room, although clean, had an old feel to it with old paint and carpet. […] You do get what you pay for but we hardly spend anytime in the hotel anyway so it fit our needs well. The seperate bedroom from the living room gave us plenty of room to hang out. The most noticeable difference for us was the televisions in the bedroom and living room. They were both old and we quickly realized how spoiled we are now with flat screen TV that are provided in most medium scale hotels. The biggest complaint I would have is that we never received any maid service for the four nights we were there. The check in sheet stated the service was every 3 days. It was easy enough getting new beach towels from the front desk and we have gotten use to recycling our bathroom towels to reduce water use on the islands so it wasn't a big issue. Read more

Although the unit was nicely furnished, it was filthy. The tile floors were so dirty they turned my socks a different color on the bottoms. The carpet was literally black with dirt (original color was white). The TV remote had grape jelly dried on it. The patio furniture was corroded and covered with bird stuff. Lovely condo. It appears each unit is individually owned and may be decorated a little differently. Larger than we expected. Very clean. Kitchen had everything you'd need to make and serve complete meals with newer appliances, microwave, coffee pot, etc. Nice views with 2 patios for this unit. We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Sea Cliff. As for the room, we were the first guests staying in a completly renovated 2 bedroom condo. It made our 2 week vacation a great pleasure to be in this condo. As for the overall facility, it is well maintained with friendly and courteous staff.

We met our daughter there as we hadn't seen her in 6 months so this condo was the perfect place for our re-union! We had many meals together on the patio looking at the ocean. We had a two bedroom so it was very roomy. The only problems that we incurred was that the garborator was plugged and not working so we contacted the maintenance and finally after […] contacting them again and the front desk, they arrived to fix the problem but my husband had already lost his patience waiting and being that he is a "Mr. fixit" himself, he fixed it on the second day before maintenance came. I think that cleaning the high up cupboards and places out of reach are overlooked as well. The pools are beautiful and we were very pleased with the entertainment that the condo had to offer three times a week by the pools. I would definitely go there again if returning to the big island. We are part of the Worldmark system but they could only give us one of the weeks, and lucky for us, we decided to take this condo for the second week. Read more

Da non scegliere se non si prevede di noleggiare un auto perchè non ha spiaggie vicine e il centro con negozi e ristoranti è un po' troppo distante da raggiungere a piedi. Stanze ampie, bel balcone (noi avevamo vista giardino) ma […] non contate sulla piscina perchè è piccola e nei giorni che siamo rimasti era invasa di bambini della zona (crediamo che parte degli appartamente siano di proprietà di persone locali). 予約時よりグレードアップの514号室に6泊しましたが、バスルームのお湯のが十分ではありませんでした。前半は事情が分からず水風呂でした。5日目に「1日部屋当たりのお湯の量が少ないので、1回入浴後30分以上時間をおかないとお湯が出ない」旨、日本人従業員より伺いました。ホテルと同じクォリティを期待する方には向かないと思います。

Für ein Mittelklasse Hotel in Ordnung. Etwas Weit weg vom Zentrum, man braucht das Auto.Poolanlage war zwar sauber aber nicht schön.Im Hotel gibt es keine Möglichkeit Getränke zu kaufen! Man sollte vorher im Supermarkt einkaufen!Die Zimmer sind wie eine Wohnung, groß und geräumig aber auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
