Demidoff Country Resort - Vaglia

When we arrived we discovered there was a third bad in the room instead of a crib. the bad was replaced in 7 minutes. we had a big balcony watching over the valley to Firenze direction - very beautiful view. The pool is big and beautiful with king size tanning bads and other sitting solutions - very spoiling. Breakfast is very good and rich - enjoyed […] it every morning. The front desk personnel were very polite and helpfull. In some way I feel sorry we didn't spend more time in the hotel since we were too busy traveling Toscany. The hotel quality matches the room price and you get all what you paid for!! If you plan to travel all day and just sleep and eat breakfast in the hotel, I would recommend finding a cheaper hotel - this hotels is certainly a one that you would like to spend some time in. One more thing. The hotel is a minute drive from Pratolino where there is a great restaurant managed by a nice italian called Zucchi - A must go restaurant. Besides that, the hotel is surrounded with very good italian restaurants, just 10-15 minutes of driving. From the Hotel to Firenze, it's only 20 minutes driving. Vraiment super, la majoritée du personnel est très sympathique, il y a même une jeune femme qui parle francais. Piscine, sauna, fitness, petit déjeuné copieux, et.... il y a une navette pour aller à Florence et les chauffeurs sont vraiment très sympa. Florence semble encore plus facile.

Una nota di merito va subito al personale: elegante,distinto,gentile e disponibile; ma il resto... Partiamo dalla struttura: leggo come data di costruzione 1990, ma le finiture sono da anni 70: è visibilmente un albergo dove non sono mai state messe le mani (o quasi): da fuori decisamente bruttino... la hall carina, ma già quando sei nei corridoi che […] conducono alle stanze respiri odore di vecchio: porte delle stanze visibilmente vetuste con maniglie ancor più vecchie; stanze confortevoli, in particolare grande nota di merito va alle terrrazze: le più ampie della categoria; purtuttavia anche le stanze sapevano di vecchio da ogni dove, un esempio fra tutti, l'apertura della porta-finestra mediante chiavistello, tipo quelli dei bagni dei bar... la regolazione del riscaldamento era, poi, un'impresa; il bagno era dotato di una vasca, comfort non scontato, ma sapeva ancor più di vecchio, ad esempio l'azionatore dello sciacquone era archeologico(uguale a quello che avevo io nella mia prima casa, costruita,appunto,nei primi '70),e purtroppo la vasca da bagno risultava danneggiata,con anche il segno dello stucco di una precedente riparazione! Grande caduta di stile! La colazione è abbastanza buona se piace il salato,senò modesta. Il contesto in cui è inserita la struttura, invece, è di indubbia bellezza,con stanze panoramiche ed un grande e bel giardino,ma non è abbastanza: quando penso a un 4 stelle mi aspetto qualcosa di più, visto che il soggiorno non è esattamente regalato..
