We were very disappointed. Our check-in was 2 hours late and the beds were very hard. We were woken up at 7am with The next morning, the hotel manager gave us a late check-out but when we got to our rooms after breakfast, the maid was in there cleaning them out. Location of the hotel is great! The Capri Laguna Inn has so much character. It is a little older but very unique. Great upper deck for hanging out or watching sunset. Staff was great. My only compliant is the hard beds but it definately didn't ruin our time.

We stayed at a beach view room which had a great view. Parking wasn't the greatest had to park a short distance at a side parking lot owned by the hotel. Great beach access. Service both housekeeping and beach service was awesome. Cleanliness was good for what seemed like an older hotel. Had great sleep as well.

The service at this hotel was so friendly and helpful--really a plus. The room was booked last minute so it was kinda expensive for the size. The room felt like a converted storage room and had tiny windows that peeked out to the parking lot and other rooms.... BUT it had great amenities--mini frig, microwave, safe, hair dryer and bottled water. The […] noise level was low and I slept like a log. The hotel is by the ocean so there is the sea mist that makes the carpet and bedding a bit sticky feeling. THe parking situation is a bit tricky but there are more parking spaces behind the liquor store a few doors down. There wasn't time on my trip to check out the pool or other aspects of the hotel, but everything looked clean, inviting and well kept....Check in and out was a breeze with expedia. Service and people were very friendly and location is great. However hotel was run down and old. We had a swampcooler for A/C which was loud. There was WIFI but the slowest I ever had. Free breakfast but cold breakfast (I'm a hot breakfast type of person). I would go there again, for the price we paid I was shock of the quality of the rooms.

There is no elevator and many steps but the desk clerk offered to help us transport our things up to our room. Otherwise, there is no room service. This is a very […] family friendly hotel were Dads can play catch with their sons on the beach in full of Mom who is relaxing on a lounge chair with a cool drink. We ordered take out for lunch just so we didn't miss out on catching a few rays and waching the surfers carve up some tasty waves from our balcony! The waves were fantastic! Even though we were close to the beach we felt safe. Gates were closed at night and the area was well lighted. This is a mature facility and the upkeep is enourmous. Our cold water knob for the bath/shower was broken but still functional :). Parking is tight at the hotel but they have auxillary parking nearby. I booked a double-Queen room for a Saturday night to celebrate my daughter's 12th birthday . I was very pleased with the hotel (it is an older one but in pretty good condition), the staff were friendly and it being right on the beach was fantastic! I was on a tight budget, so I hoped the standard room would be fine because I wouldn't be in it much. The shower curtain was moldy but the rest of the room was clean and had nice granite floors and counters. We had a wonderful stay at the Capri. The location is excellent and the service was very good. The view is spectacular, easy access to downtown transportation, lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for the beach, continental breakfast, clean rooms and beautiful setting. Location is great on beachfront, hotel is an old building with some minor updates, the breakfast is really continental- two loaves of bread, a couple of Danishes and coffee / juice. the skinny man that serves it is rude and not very courteous. It is less expensive than the surf and sand but the accommodations equal the price. No central air -stand up […] air unit that do not cool correctly . Water run slow and was turned off during the day. Parking is minimal and tight. The pictures fool you into believing it is a new property but it is not. The location is actually a couple of miles from all the fun and activities. The counter service was nice and they should work at suf and sand. Nice hotel. Our room overlooked the pool, so was right by the front of the property. We were crazy impressed with how big the property is. The walk to the beach takes you passed all of the terraced rooms and patios. I might be inclined to pay more for an ocean view next time. Only criticism of the room is that the tub faucet was a bit of a challenge […] to use. I could not get the water warm enough and then it took forever to line up the knobs to turn the water off. I went to the front desk to get quarters so I could use their laundry room. But, was told they don't give out quarters. Why? It's their machine I wanted to feed. I wasn't expecting a 5-star room but the "upgraded" ocean view room we stayed in over the 4th of July was so scary that I refused to take off my shoes inside of it and had to drink myself to sleep--it was that gross!
