I needed to check in early on the day I arrived (before 11 a.m.), and they were able to give me a room, which really helped. The room was very clean. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. The hotel is close to I-4 and to lots of shops and restaurants (and a Whole Foods). Traffic is the main problem, but that's Orlando! For a low price, I had a kitchenette, too. There are 2 elevators, and they move a little bit slow; sometimes I wondered if the doors would ever open. That's my only "complaint." I would stay here again, for sure. Read more

The hotel has a friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. They offered a free breakfast and free parking. It is located near theme parks and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites Orlando to anyone.

I checked in in the afternoon with some friends for our stay. Was told the pool was heated but in reality it wasn't and the pool was ice cold. The front desk clerk was very unprofessional, refused me service when coming from the pool to ask for some extra towels and when I asked him why his reply was " Because I said so " and when asked about where […] I can find guidelines on why I was refused service his reply " If you do not return to your room i will call the police " Not happy at all with the customer service I received. As always, The Hampton Inn was a great place to stay! This has become our hotel of choice when we travel mainly because of the staff, the room cleanliness, the bed (which is always awesome) , and the breakfast (again, awesome). This was a great location in Orlando and for the price you could not get anything better!

This hotel was just right. My fiancé and I have stayed at many hotels in Orlando especially for our trips to Disney. This hotel was perfect. Check in was very quick and direct. The staff was friendly and informative. There were no hidden fees at check in. All I requested was given: non smoking room, king bed. The room didn't have any bad smell like […] other non smoking rooms in other hotels do. The room was very spacious and clean. We had a microwave, mini fridge and freezer and sink with the kitchenette - there were no extra charges for that. The room was also pretty sound proof. We barely heard things from the hallway. The breakfast was delicious - they had both hot and cold options. Free coffee and tea available all day in the lounge area and it's pretty good. The staff was always very friendly when we would walk in. They allowed a late check out till 12pm without charging us extra and check out was very speedy. The price was perfect and the location was great. Plenty of parking as well. Overall we were very happy and will return to this hotel. Read more

Booked this hotel last minute for an overnight stay. On check-in I realized that I had accidentally booked a smoking room. Front desk staff was very accommodating in moving me into a non-smoking room. Hotel is very conveniently located on International drive and very close to I-4 to get to Sea World and Disney World.

This was a very typical Hampton stay for me. Friendly staff, clean building and room, very comfortable beds, spacious room, nice breakfast. There's tons of stuff in the immediate vicinity as you are right off International Drive which is a bit crazy but you'll have no difficulty finding food and fun. Very clean and roomy. The whole hotel stay was top notch. And the breakfast was the best! The only complaint was the traffic to get to the Orange County Convention Center. The location of the hotel is in the middle of everything! Very convient!

Hotel is close to restaurants and gift shops. Old Town is just a few blocks away. We stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast was terrific each morning. Wide variety of hot and cold items. Planning another trip to Disney in a few months, will book this hotel again. Its about 11 miles away from Magic Kindgom.

I was disappointed by this hotel. The hotels.com paperwork said it had a bar restaurant. It has no such thing. It has a common dining area which is used for breakfast only. It is an older facility, and you can tell this from the lobby and from the rooms. They make a big deal about how clean the sheets are. Like no other hotel provides clean sheets? The hotel was close to the exit to the I4, which is good. However, the traffic can be a bit much on International drive at certain times of the day. Shopping and major attractions are within 15mins when driving. From the airport its about 20 mins on sand lake. Hotel was clean and in a good spot relative to all the action I-Drive in Orlando offers. But the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. Above all I want a clean and comfortable room, and this hotel is only half there.

When checking in, front desk clerk initially did not acknowledge me or the party I was traveling with. Once she did she was less than friendly. During the check in process another employee came from a room behind the front desk. The two of them carried on a conversation in a foreign language while I was standing at the front desk trying to get checked […] in. Absolutely rude and unacceptable. Later we asked if the shuttle service would take us to Universal Studio for one of our business night out gatherings. The clerk said she could call us a cab and to give a 10 minute notice. We did this, but were surprised when the hotel shuttle driver was available and did drive us to Universal, but charged usn$10. Just to let you know we took a cab back to the hotel later that evening the fare was $7.20. The hotel was very noisy all night long. Also at breakfast, which we had apprx. 7:00 am, stations needed to be replenished and cleaned. There was not enough seating in the dining area, so we were sent to a room having a cople of tables, no windows, no tv, no music. It was like sitting in a storage room. I would never stay in this Hampton Inn again. I drove to Florida in recent weeks. On the way I spent the night at the Hampton Inn, in Emporia VA. It was what I expect and normally experience when staying at a Hampton - quality all around. I hope you address these issues. When traveling for business or pleasure, Hampton is my first choice &I would like to keep it that way. Read more

After watching shows about how dirty and nasty hotels can be, I was skeptical to book ANY hotel at all, but our teenagers wanted to go to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Decided to get away from FSU for the weekend with some friends and head to Universal Studios Orlando. Found this gem of a hotel and booked a 2 Queen Suite. Very nice hotel!
