"Fantastic central location"
This was a great hotel and the location was superb. The staff was very friendly and quite helpful as well/ My only complaint was that the wi-fi seemed very spotty and I was only able to get on in the evening. In spite of that, I would definitely stay here again and recommend overall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very pleasant stay"
Good rooms, close Oxford street and theatre. Quite, AC Nice rooms. RecommendedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel, centrally located, good value for mon"
Not a great looking hotel on the outside. Former BBC office built in the 60s. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Great views of the surrounding area. Room service needs to be brought up to speed but the quality of meals is very good. Worth the money.Genuine Expedia guest review
Disgusting! They claimed that they gave us a rennovated room. The bed was so bad that neither of us could sleep, and demanded to be moved next day.Which they did-but the bed was equally poor. The hotel is superficially attractive, but not comfortable. They staff know they have a problem and are friendly and apologetic. Certainly will not stay againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location close to theaters and museum. neat, clean, helpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Older hotel in excellent location. Helpful staff. Would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A hidden treasure"
Tucked away at Langham Place next to the BBC. Easy access to the Oxford Circus hub, great restaurants nearby, excellent shopping area, 15-min walk to the theatre areas and T-square. Small but efficiently run hotel. Will be back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great location and quality hotel"
We were a short walk from the Oxford Circus tube station and there were some nice restaurants around the hotel to eat. It is very easy to get places from here and the hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
enjoyed immensley our stay in London - due in no small way to the excellent location of St George hotel: plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shick shops along the Regent Street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was surprisingly comfortable, with good-sized rooms for the UK. One bonus was AC, since we were in London during a surprising warm week-end. A less-welcome surprise was notification during the evening that a private party with live music would be taking place on the floor above us. It woudl have been nice to know this earlier and perhaps have […] the chance to request a different room at check-in. However, the music was not disruptive (it was actually quite good!) and it did not disturb our rest. But an earlier heads-up would have been helpfu. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fab Neighborhood - Cute Hotel"
Would stay here again for sure. Our bed was pretty hard, that was the only real negative. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to underground.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We can't believe this hotel has 4 stars... Location is very good but qualities aren't 4 stars....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great big-city location for a reasonable price. Close to lots of shopping, parks and tube stations.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Customer Service? NOT AT ALL."
While the location of this hotel is SUPERB, we had to move rooms twice in order to get a room with the following: temperature control (there was no heat in 2 of the rooms), hot water (NO hot water in several rooms) and no NOISE (construction taking place above the room we were in). The hotel staff at the front desk were helpful whereas the management […] were basically AWFUL. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very pleasurable stay"
We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The rooms were spacious, we had a fantastic view of London from our 12th floor room, and the service was very helpful and friendly. There were a few minor mishaps (our TV and a couple of outlets stopped working on our second day, but they fixed it all by the time we got back in the evening; also, they said […] our room was ready but when we got up there -- before check-in time -- it had not yet been made up. But we were glad to be able to dump our suitcases and freshen up a tad and then go back out). The location is convenient to everything, and there are great restaurants in walking distance (we recommend Texture and Back 2 Basics). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"St Georges, London ; comfortable and convenient."
Well situated but out of the bustle of Oxford Street. Upper floor rooms at the back are nice and quiet despite central location. The rooms are larger than usual in mid-priced London hotels; well kept, and a super friendly and helpful young staff. The only thing missing was provision for morning tea or coffee - not in rooms or lobby, though there are […] many coffee shop nearby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Terrific place that is close to Oxford Circus and all the shops on Regent Street. I must say the mattresses in the room were a little old, but the room was clean, well maintained and I look forward to visiting again soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Saint Georges, Fitzrovia, London"
The hotel is very well situated just off Regent Street several blocks north of Oxford Circus. The staff were cheerful and considerate. All rooms are on high floors, thus quieter, with reliable lifts and lovely views of the city from the side we were on. We did not eat at the hotel, but found several good places for breakfast within 1-2 blocks. Also […] many good restaurants nearby, and a short walk to the theatre district and the shopping mecca on Regent, Bond, Oxford streets. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"St George Hotel in London"
A great location, walking distance to main shopping areas, Soho, etc. The hotel was a great value compared to comparable hotels in this area. Next door is a very good Turkish restaurant worth trying.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful place"
It has been my first time in London. I've heard about hotels room small and not clean. But this is not the Saint Georges Hotel condition. The rooms were comfortable and clean, also quite large. We were lucky because we have had sun all week... I recommend this hotel. Patrizia Rome ItalyGenuine Expedia guest review
"St. Georges on Regent Street - Great Location!"
I very much enjoyed my stay at Saint Georges (I was there 6 nights). The location is AWESOME, close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and fairly spacious - much better than another hotel I had stayed at in London previously. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to London for work or pleasure! Next time I […] am in London, I will definitely look to stay here again. "St. George hotel is the center of london city"
A very nice , central, comfortable, clean, and quiet hotel all over London!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean and well located for shopping on Oxford St. A little farther from West End theatres than I would prefer, but the slight distance makes the price palatable although still not cheap.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Nice views down Regent Street, of All Souls church and into the new BBC complex. Likely to meet reporters in the rooftop bar doing interviews.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location and nice room"
The hotel is undergoing major renovations, but still the room was quiet and very comfortable. I will be going back again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, nice food and good service. The current state of the hotel is not particularly new or modern, but they are adding an other floor and redoing the restaurant on the 15th floor. The view is amazing! The hotel is 2mins from oxford circus underground and just off the high street :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Where Auntie might stay (Auntie BBC that is)"
Very handy to Cavendish Square and Bond Street shopping, I chose this because of proximity to a conference. Very clean and undergoing external facelift. History of BBC broadcasting is the interesting design theme!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Worse than a diamond in the rough"
Totally run down and shabby with scaffolding all over the building. They are doing a refurbishment, and after I found that on checking that many things in my room didn't work to an absurd level (TV doesn't come on, the lights next to the bed didn't work, the phone cable was dangling loose and had to be held in place to call reception), I was given one […] of the newly refurbished rooms. It was tiny. It had two extra space heaters because something appeared to be wrong with the central heating. Scaffolding was everywhere so workers were wandering by during the day…the shower is poorly designed--it is one of those modern things that are all style and no function so you can't quite tell which is the water temperature and which is the shower, or how to make it come out of the shower head or the little hose attachment, and to find out you need to get soaked with either very cold or very hot water…the shower squirts into the room as the overhead shower head sprays the water too far for the cabin, so you can only turn on the water or adjust the temperature when you are inside the shower cubicle and under the water. Reception is minuscule. Service is generally absent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for me"
Doing some upgrades at moment, but was in perfect location and staff were great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Got a good deal on the room and arrived late. Ate in the bar and food was reasonable quality if portions a tad on the small side. Staff all very pleasant and efficient. Rooms were comfortable and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Magnificently unfussy service"
Parking is tight but the staff sorted it out quickly and efficiently. Checking in was easy and refreshingly straightforward. Bedroom décor slightly tired but the room was lovely and warm with a good sized bed. Not overly expensive for central London - definitely worth the money. Recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent stay. Very comfortable and extremely well located. Bathroom is ready for an update but this did not detract from our stay. We shall certainly choose to stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"central London hotel"
St George's Hotel is very centrally located near Oxford Circus. Rooms are small but clean. Staff are keen but could be better trained (English was not usually first language and meanings got mixed up). Bar on 15th floor has great panoramic view of that area of London.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but old hotel"
I lived in London for 10 years so I know the city well. The hotel is a 2 min walk to Oxford Circus and 10 min walk to Piccadilly Circus - excellent for those looking for retail opportunities or want to take advantage of the usual tourist attractions. The hotel is also around a 15 min walk to Regent's Park. For those looking for a more authentic/charming/rustic […] experience, this is not the place for you. The hotel is quite old/dated and doesn't look to have been renovated in a long time. That being said, the room is decently comfortable (if not a bit dark), and there was complimentary water (both sparkling and plain), biscuits and bathroom products replaced each day...also got a complimentary newspaper each morning which was nice. The hotel claims to offer a "discount" rate for LA Fitness (a gym that is a 5 min walk away) but the discount rate is around £15 per session, which seems extortionate so I would recommend going to the LA Fitness website and registering for a free 3 day trial session instead. "Central location with bad or no facilities."
This hotel is very central-a two block walk from the hustle and bustle of Oxford circus. However, for a centrally located "4 star hotel," it was not nearly nice looking enough nor did it have the amenities to be considered four star. This hotel did not contain a gym and thus any type of steam room/sauna, hot tub or pool. If you're a four star hotel […] you should have AT LEAST a gym. Secondly, the hotel just doesn't look nice enough to be four star . The outside looks a bit dodgy (the driveway could be nicer), the door to my room was scratched and heavy (they need to include something in all the rooms to be able to prop open the door) and the ceiling lights weren't working. The concierge staff was nice/helpful and the room service was great-deluxe food. But, for all the money you're paying for a not so great "four star" hotel, the breakfast should not be an additional charge. It was. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Not a 4 star hotel!"
Very disappointed, this is not a 4 star - I would rate it barely a 3 star! A tired place pricing themselves high being next to the Langham - but nothing in common. So much wrong I just feel sad that a place with this location can not be handled with hotel people that care about the guest, create a nice ambience and make you feel special when you are […] away from home. No - 2 days of asking to get your toilet seat fixed, an aircon sounding like a tractor, a waiter bringing a bottle of wine to our room in his hand without an ice bucket - where am I?! Not on Regent Street in London I know, thats for sure.... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Location is just about 2 blocks away from Oxford Circus. Very convinient. Check in was easy, staffs were accomodating. However, hotel corridor is gloomy. Our room is just OK.
